Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

This place was awesome! Went in on a whim, I'm not a stoner, but the vibes were amazing. We sat at the bar, and we were in a weed themed restaurant, sitting at a bar, with JESUS as the bartender! The food was delicious, some of the reviews are cadywhompus and so different then our experience. 10/10, would go again.

The only thing baked here was the fresh bread. Subs are tasty and served open faced. I got the 8-inch "Pinner" Sensi Kush BLT, and the honey siracha made it a new gastronomic experience for me. Follow me on IG @igooglereviewyou

This place was absolutely a 10 for me. Food was creative, fresh, and delicious. I got the Kali Mist sandwich and blue raspberry kool-aid with the miss VIckis Salt and Vinegar chips. Immediately I loved 2 signature items which are the garlic herb toasted bread and the parmesan cheese shake.Apparently this place is a national food chain/franchise. Youtube it for Aesthetics, The weed theme is prominent but surprisingly not a negative factor but good for everyone.

This place was super good 👌. The soda machine was down, but this just led us to learn they have amazing brewed tea and lemonade. The Italian or grape ape were great choices. Give it a shot, it shouldn't disappoint. They even have a bar!

This was by far the Absolute Best Sub I've Ever Eaten in my Life!! I ordered the White Widow (Blunt) and the Marinara Bowl O' Balls.. De-lic-ious!! OMG, Must Try!!

My first time here and I ordered the Thai Stick and a build your own sub for my mom, the cashier said they were out of pineapple so I bought it anyways. It was a 15 minute wait and I got both subs sooner then that. I looked at the cool looking art while waiting. Without the pineapple the Thai sub was still very delicious! The bread, teriyaki chicken, and all the fixins were perfect. It's nice to see a Cheba Hut open in Bayview cause It's a new sub sandwich experience for me. I will be back at the Hut again!

THIS PLACE IS BOMB. We had the “The Kind” & the “Midwest Best Club” the bread, the meat the veggies it’s all phenomenal!!! Will be back! Really enjoyed it & super cute & clean restaurant.

I got the KGB and it was tasty! I'm super happy to have a gourmet toasted sub sandwich shop close to me. Just to get the only confusing part out the way is a nug is a 4", a pinner is a 8", and a blunt is a 12" I'm not a stoner so I didn't get the reference lol. The sandwich was nice and warm and even though it was busy it came to me within 10/15 minutes and that high end I wasn't paying attention to the actual time. They have so many options to choose from I have to make a few more stops here. Their nachos are freaking Doritos so if you want to get your munch on this is a freaking great place to go. If you have kids they have a Sticky Icky which is a PPJ and rice crispy treats. I'd definitely say checkout their menu before you go because of all of the options. They have way more opinions that I think kids will like too and many, many more for adults. I will be back!
Btw shout-out to the lady behind the cash register! She was fun, helpful, and knowledgeable!

Everything about my first time being here, is the reason I'll be going back. Food. People. The atmosphere. Hella chill. Hella friendly.

I was honestly impressed with the food and service here! After reading reviews I wasn’t sure I’d love it but I’m glad I tried it out! The sandwich was packed and tasty. I’ll def go back!

Such a good experience everytime!!! The food is always a hit and the music they play inside is bangin. Staff is amazing too. We drive half an hour to go here. Favorite sandwich shop by far.

Lights a bit too bright OTHERWISE LOVE THIS PLACE, EVERYTHING GREAT. Food super yummy, their homemade sauces are divine! Service pretty Spectacular and just a fun theme; evening about it is refreshingly unique. HIGHLY recommend! I wouldn't mind a little more dimly lit, just not a fan of bright lights. But I'll be back often.

Had a great time at this location, got there just before 5 and was greeted and helped right away. One of the team members who took my order also made me a drink at the bar as well, and struck up great conversation. The entire staff was very friendly and efficient. My sub tasted amazing!! They really made the sandwich with love and I can say for sure I’ll be returning!

This place is awesome! Always has a good vibe and the food is amazing, I come here all the time and always leave in a great mood from the amazing food.

I was a little wary because I hate gimmicky names for food, so the whole concept of Cheba Hut left me thinking of mediocrity. And then, because the shop is literally right across the street from me, I decided to order a Kali mist sandwich. Outstanding. Fresh, crunchy bread, ingredients were also fresh and toasted, delicious. Its a cool place with a bar and kind of a decent place to hang, they've got beer on tap and the location is perfect. Don't hesitate, the staff were really nice and obviously care about what they are doing.

My girl and I visited this spot for the 1st time today because we moved out to Milwaukee and were craving subs and salad and with me being from originally Chicago my expectation was already high! Gotta say this spot exceeded anything I have had here before! The salad was fresh and the roll was soft and hella delicious! The portions are generous! It's a must check out spot! We will definitely return!

Awesome fresh subs with unique condiments. Very tasty. Atmosphere typical of area. Friendly, helpful staff. Quick service given that everything is made to order.
