Kimz Galley Cafe

The service was a little bit slow but super friendly. They had indoor seating, porch seating and then patio seating. The portions were very large. They make their bread fresh every day and you could tell. I had Kimz skillet. It was delicious and filling. I also had half of a cinnamon roll fresh from the oven.

This place is excellent. I ordered food to go, I believe from the owner. The price was great for the amount of food I got and Steve's very fast. And of course... It was soooo good, I ate the whole pulled pork sandwich. Calling it a sandwich isn't fair either as it was huge!!!!! She suggested I order the Ruben next time and I guarantee you I will 😁👍

What a great little place to go and grab breakfast! Food is cooked, I believe, by the owner. And it is fantastic. Best french toast that I've ever had! Been back a few times, great skillet, though it is enormous. Omelet was very, very good. Door County Coffee is always good and I love the self service coffee and water. Word of warning, though. This place is small and it does not have a large kitchen. We now call for reservations when we want to go there and we understand there could be a wait for the food. Totally worth it!

This place was a very warm and welcoming environment. The food made the whole building smell amazing. It was a very busy midsunday morning. The wait for a table was completely worth the quality of food and service. Never felt rushed even though they were very busy with limited seating. Recommend groups of 4 and more call ahead to avoid major waiting. But even still the wait is worth it. Still thinking about their coffee 3 days later.

Absolutely delicious breakfast and lunch at this adorable quaint signature Door County restaurant. The reuben was piled high with lean shredded corned beef on delectable homemade bread. My breakfast was amazing, everything so fresh, absolutely a place to stop for incredible food and a delightful staff! We will be back, SOON!

Run don’t walk to this adorable restaurant in Sturgeon Bay! The baked French toast with Carmel and walnuts is what I’m pretty sure heaven tastes like. The Swedish pancakes are amazing as well. Get their early because they fill up fast and have limited hours and you DO NOT want to miss having breakfast here!! This is our new must have when we visit!

This was a cute, unique place to get breakfast. French toast was a great choice! Wow the homemade bread is great! We sat on a two person table in a little nook with windows and it was a very sweet spot to chat and eat. Self serve coffee bar was nice!

Charming little breakfast spot with lovely outdoor dining on a near perfect Wisconsin morning. The locally sourced food was homemade and delicious and the hosts were accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend a visit... you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food. Worth the wait. Food is homemade. Kim is the only cook, so don't go if in a rush. Go when you can enjoy your company
and talk. Dogs allowed in outdoor dining. The bread is out of this world and no pour eggs, Kim cracks them. Everything fresh.

Kimz has the freshest most delicious food in door county. Her door county cherry chicken salad wrap is the best. The steak sandwich is excellent as well. We love the food and the hospitality every time we visit.

Quaint and cozy stop for breakfast and lunch. We were passing through the area and decided to stop here for breakfast. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere feels like a close aunt or grandmother’s cottage. Super cozy and airy. Everything was made fresh to order. Bread is baked in-house; we had raisin and white bread (which was sourdough—YUM).

All the locals came in and knew one another which was nice to see. Would definitely be back in the future. John wants to see what rhubarb desserts they have available when we return in the fall! ;)

Everything was amazing! No frills breakfast in a cozy little spot. I loved the pancakes, and I am not a super fan of them normally. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Cool older house converted to a restaurant. Seating on the lawn, front porch or inside. Menu was a pleasure to read as I watched the cook plate up other's breakfasts. Waitress nailed the perfect balance of tending me without interrupting. I ate a hearty skillet breakfast then took a to-go order of bacon home to my daughter. Bacon was fresh and not cooked earlier.

My new favorite restaurant when visiting Door County! Great service, large potions, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and delicious food! Homemade breads and breakfast served all day. The hidden gem in Sturgeon Bay.

I dont why I didn't know about Kimz Galley Cafe before today. One of the best places to eat. Everything is made to order. Breads rolls and desserts are freshly baked. Seating is limited so there may be a wait. It's well worth waiting!!!!!

Kimz is reliable and reasonably priced by Door County standards. They serve breakfast all day and (I believe) they always have a quiche of the day. I like the Door County cherry pecan salad. One word of warning: Kimz is small and can get busy. My best experiences have been during off hours.

Great food, service. Not a fast food joint, every thing is prepared fresh when ordered so it may be a wait for your order, but it's worth it. I recommend Kimz Chef Salad, fish of the day sandwich, Kimz Skillet, among others.

I was traveling through Door County last weekend and was lucky enough to stop in at Kimz Cafe. The people were very friendly and the food was fantastic. Above all else, I forgot my jacket and the owner of the restaurant was friendly enough to mail it to me. I don't usually write reviews online, but the awesome dining experience, combined with the nice show of compassion, motivated me to promote the Kimz Galley Cafe. Stop by if you get the chance!
