Zion Helicopters - Zion National Park Tours

Truly a once in a lifetime experience. It was beautiful and the pilot would point out the landmarks along the way. Pilot was very helpful and guiding. Slightly loud, but I got used to it. It was my first time in a helicopter, so it was very fun. Important note: They need at least 4 people in order to let the helicopter take off.

We had the fortune to take a fabulous trip with Zion Helicopters. The facility was striking and clean. The front desk person Marina, was friendly and helpful. The Pilot, Jordan, was the best we could have ever asked for! He flew with ease, skill, confidence and provided complete knowledge of the area. As residents of the general area, it was fun to fly over points that we recognized and experienced on the ground. It was an individually organized flight pattern which allowed us to see the best of our best! Thank you Jordan, for an incredible experience!

I highly recommend doing this! The longer flight you can take the better!! We did the 55 mi trip and it was maxing, I’d love to see more!! Our pilot was so awesome and fun (and knowledgeable!!). Thank you so much!!

An epic ride

An amazing way to experience what is some of the most breathtaking terrain on the planet.

While the tour doesn’t fly over the park, I think that’s a good thing as you don’t want the sound of helicopters while trekking, it honestly doesn’t matter as the scenery around the park itself is equally amazing from the air. A helicopter is the perfect way to take it all in.

The Zion Helo crew were no fuss and straight about costs etc. This not being a cheap proposition, especially when you do a private ride like we did. But it was well worth it. Our pilot was Jordan, who is a real character and skilled pilot. We felt safe and secure throughout while still maintaining the excitement. It’s nice to have a real exchange with someone as being Aussies in America it can sometimes be a little less authentic than we’d like. But Jordan was the real deal on multiple levels, knowledgeable, deft touch on the cyclic / collective and fun.

Our choice was the 55 mile plus Butte landing for a quick stop before RTB. This was really nice touch to have an extra take-off/landing, have a drink, chat and take it all on from on high.

This was one of the best helicopter experiences my wife and I have done. A combination of the epic terrain and pilot Jordan. It was the perfect end to a week on the ground doing the treks in the park rounding it out with a thrill ride from above. Very thoroughly recommend.

We had a WONDERFUL time with Zion Helicopters. Christi was a wonderful pilot. She knew so many fun facts and was extremely experienced. Had I known it would be such a great experience I would have opted for a longer flight! An hour would have been a good trip. If I'm ever back in Zion I WILL book that hour long flight! Thank you again Christi for helping to make the flight one of our BEST memories of our trip!!

We had a blast! I’ve been on a helicopter ride before at a festival. The pilot didn’t really speak about what we were seeing. Our pilot, she was very knowledgeable about the history, geography, and information about the area. For us touring the Zion National park, it was awesome that not only did we get to fly, but we got a learning experience as well!

My husband surprised me with a helicopter ride for our anniversary, and the whole experience from start to finish was incredible. The customer service at Zion Helicopters really made the experience even more enjoyable. Our pilot Jack was amazing, he made us feel safe with his knowledge and experience. The flight we had today was absolutely magic! As a local, I appreciated the flight patterns and was impressed with how thoughtful the Pilots are about doing their best to mitigate noise. We saw the beauty of this incredible landscape from a view not possible any other way! Absolutely magical!!

This was by far the best helicopter experience! We had so much fun in our 55 min ride. Seamless process when we checked in and we got the best views! No hidden fees, super clean area, there are restrooms on site.

We did the private jeep tour and hike. We chose the Can Am UTV as our vehicle and it was awesome! Oliver, out guide was very professional and took us to private lands where we had the most amazing views of the Zion mountains! The hiking part was flat and not strenuous at all. We climbed the alien rocks and had gorgeous views all around! Totally worth it!

This helicopter tour has been the highlight of our trip to Utah. The views were breathtaking. Our pilot was amazing, knowledgeable of the area, and was personable. The manager during checking in was also polite and helpful. We highly recommend Zion Helicopter tours.

Our only concern was that we booked this tour a few months ago as we are vacationing here from Maine. We got a short notice call that we needed to reschedule our tour. We were able to find a time that worked for both parties.

Jordan was an incredible pilot. He was a natural with the sticks and I felt completely safe the whole time as we maneuvered through the landscape. He was knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot. We highly recommend doing the 55 mile + butte landing tour. The views were stunning and we saw sections of Zion that are only easily accessible through helicopter. We cannot recommend enough.

Our family of 6 had a great time on the 55 mile tour today! Thank you, Steph, for the smooth, fun flight. We learned a lot about the geological history of Zion and had fantastic views. We were able to get close to the rock formations (Steph mentioned that was due to no wind). Awesome! Would do again and recommend to anyone on the fence--just do it!

My wife and I, accompanied by our wedding planner/photographer (Megan at Hazel & Lace Photography) took a private tour after our Zion wedding. Exceptional experience! The ground crew (Lincoln) was incredibly helpful with our videographer to ensure he was able to capture the best views of our takeoff, overfly, and return, and the pilot (never caught his name!) was skilled (it was a little blustery that day), informative, and--most importantly--patient with our butte-top photo shoot. Highly recommend!
Also need to give a shout out to Gloria who kept us apprised of potential weather that was moving in and made sure we were aware of all our options if they had to cancel for safety of flight reasons (fortunately, we were able to go through with everything as originally planned!)

Great experience!! One of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Well worth the money. Our pilot was amazing, funny and laid back. He made our trip memorable. I mean how often can you say you landed on a remote butte and had champagne. Hope to do it again soon.

Extremely respectful and kind staff, especially since I was terrified. The pilot was full of information, which added to the trip. I totally recommend the hour long trip! My sister and I would definitely go on a helicopter ride again!

Fantastic experience! The tour gave us some really cool close up of the Zion canyons and our pilot is very knowledgeable.
Highly recommend, it does get pretty hot thou so be prepared in the summer 🌞

We had the most amazing helicopter tour of the area around Zion National Park today, conducted by Zion Helicopters! The views were breathtaking and the history of the area was so interesting. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The equipment was first-rate. Definitely worth a repeat!

I have been in six helicopter rides and this was number six I have flown over Vegas at night New York City at night Grand Canyon from the top to the bottom west rim I rode a helicopter in my hometown City of Tampa but this Zion helicopter tour was absolutely incredible our pilot flew like a true champion took us over waterfalls the same waterfalls I hiked underneath flew us over one of the highest peaks incredible information awesome personality made us all feel real comfortable this helicopter experience is by far the best I've ever done thank you again Zaya helicopters you are awesome if you are ever in Zion this is a must highly recommended I repeat highly recommended go now

If you can do it, don’t let this opportunity pass you by. We were able to book our trip the morning of our 55 min flight. The service were excellent, along with the preflight instructions. Alex, our pilot did an excellent job of explaining the Zion areas and history. Well worth every cent. If you don’t do this on your next trip to Zion, you are definitely missing out. I’ve spent 3 months in Zion over the last 4 years, doing the Narrows, Angel’s Landing, Observation Point, etc. but this is a different view of Zion that you should experience at least once!
