Right next to the park, splash pad, and a *ton* of Pokemon stops and gyms. SUPER cool staff. Interesting items. I do have issues with the history here because the pioneers were dirty colonizers and what not... But those who do not learn history, are doomed to repeat it. Check it out!

We got caught in town while working and stumbled across this museum. There was so much to look at. There was so much information. The family trees were my favorite part. The lady working inside was so nice and had a lot to talk about.

Interesting collection of memorabilia about the geographic area. We learned a lot about the hard work of the earliest people to the area. Be sure to ask about the 103 year old wedding cake!

Enjoyed the short stop, the museum was closed upon arrival. However I was able to walk around the park at my own pace and read a little more about the local history of the settlers, very informative.

There is so much to see and learn here. If you want to know more about the history of the area it is a great place. They have stories you can read about historical houses, the canal and early days. Phyllis will tell you stories of you don't want to read. There's lots of stuff to look at inside and out. Make sure you go to the 2 other locations and hike the canal of you have time. It's free to get in, which is nice. If you want a hand made quilt they have some for sale along with fun jewelry and books about the area. You can even bring a picnic and eat under the tree then let the kids play on the playground next door. There's even a splash pad for those hot summer days.

Oh my gosh the guy that sits at the desk is fantastic. So full of information. I was impressed with the condition of everything. You can see it had all been used but looks like it can easily be put back to work. So much information about the town and the families that founded it. Such a fun little museum. So much work went in to bringing the water here! You will fall more in love with the town after you check it out.

The museum was really nice it has a lot of things to look at and has history information as far back as 700 a.d. to more current events as well.

The guy the welcomed us into the museum was an older gentleman who was very friendly and super helpful. He recommended us places to visit or even eat. The place he recommended were very good as well.

The guy was somewhat knowledgeable of the items within the museum which help us get a better idea of the heritage of the town.

There is no fee entrance or anything and there is plenty of oppotunities to take some family picture .
