We tried this restaurant during our stay in Hurricane. I wanted to try something new since I've not had Peruvian food before. I had the chicken version of Lomito Saltado and my husband had the Bistec a la Pobre and an Empanada. We were not disappointed! The host is an older lady and she is what really took our visit to this place over the top. She was very friendly and made us feel like her grandkids coming home to visit. She let us try a sample of Chicha Morado drink and Maracuya drink, both were delicious as well. The restaurant is smaller but quaint. Highly recommend!

Besides the really good food, the service was the best thing of this place. The lady came to our table to talk to us and gave us recommendations. She also gave us Maracuya juice to try it which we ended up getting because we liked it so much. Recommend!

Amazing new discovery. The greeting atmosphere, the lovely face to face interaction, the conversation, etc. The food is fresh, with a solid and tasty flavor. Highly recommended. Coming back soon :)

Super tasty and huge portions. Stopped in after a long drive me found this gem. It is casual place with friendly staff. We order two dishes for two people and could have had leftovers except I eat too much :-)

Myself and three others stopped here for lunch after a long morning of hiking. This place is fantastic. All of us loved our food. I got a noodle stir fry with chicken, and my boyfriend got a fried rice.

We came back from Zion National Park, and were very hungry. Wasn't sure if we'd go for an experiment. None of us never tried Peruvian cuisine before, thought it'd be similar to Mexican one.

To my surprise, it turned out to be one of my best dining experiences ever. It was a humble, cozy place. Not all the people in that place speak english, so we had a little hard time. As soon as we tried the Fries, we knew happiness ahead. The grill was very tasty. I ordered a seafood item. It was soaked with lemon juice, had a very strong taste. I'd not say the best fish of my life, but most certainly the most Pungent and different dish of my life. We also ordered a potato item. It'd be the best potato I've eaten outside Bangladesh, similar to আলু ভর্তাl

Overall, very satisfying experience, will visit again if nearby.

The woman who runs this restaurant is darling!!! Our Spanish isn't the best but she made us feel super welcome and recommended her favorite dishes. The lomito saltado and plantains were delicious and the green sauce was fire!

All I can say is the food was incredible and the flavors were great! Sauces were homemade and so tasty! Seems it was family run and the service was great! Food is fresh made. Can’t say anymore wonderful stuff.

This place was great! I had the Venezuelan shredded beef + plantain and my wife had the Peruvian steak + fried egg, which she absolutely LOVED. If we had more time we would have gone back and tried something else. Despite the very minor language barrier, the host welcomed and greeted us with such kindness and hospitality. Fast service!

Chicken and steak Lomo Salgado are excellent!! Green sauce is great not very spicy though. Chicken and avocado little cornmeal pita thing was good too. (Arepas I think they are called)
Vegetarian options aren't great. The veggie thing was pretty bland. But the vegetarian fried rice and it was pretty good.

If they just had a veggie Lomo Salgado instead of meat add some cabbage and carrots and peas and onions it would be perfect!!

Authentic and good cuisine! We communicated and ordered in Spanish, very nice owners. Homey feel, they give everyone samples of their juices, as most people will have never tried them before. Highly recommend the papas a la huancaína, always one of my favorites at Peruvian restaurants.

A super cozy and comfortable dining experience. The lady at the front was super sweet and welcoming. She did not speak English so expect to do some charades if you don't speak Spanish! We were a group of 7 but our food came out surprisingly quickly. I was very happy with my ceviche. I also got an arepa and the meat was a little bit too salty, but overall we were satisfied. Feels like an authentic mom-and-pop store and we were happy to support them.

Absolutely delicious! We went for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was wonderful. The owner was patient and explained a number of dishes. The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful 10 out of 10 recommend.
We ordered arroz con pollo (amazing!), empanadas, arepas, yucca and plantains, the house salad, and the Peruvian plate. Everything was delicious. Definitely worth checking out.

Authentic, friendly and clean. The store owner is really sweet! We tried the ceviche mixto and the arroz con pollo and we're amazed with the flavor and realistically of each plate.

I ate here 2/2/2020 on a hiking trip with two friends and we STILL talk about the amazing food and joke about flying back to Utah just for a meal.

My wife and I came here on October 20th, and ordered the number 3 (Peruvian steak)and 4(mix ceviche). Both dishes were very interesting, but both of us thought they were delicious and very different than we ever had. I used to have a seafood clerk from Peru, so I decided to give this a try. They do have desserts and other goodies there. If you're open to different food and flavors, I really think you should give this place a try.

4.5 stars. Family run, simple fare restaurant with very sweet people who serve. First time we've tried peruvian food and we loved it. We ordered the soupas (chicken noodle), lomita saltados, arroz con pollo and the areipas with the arroz con leche to end the meal.

The soup was very nice and warm. The kind you could eat after a hike in the cold or when you're sick. The lomita saltados was my first time trying it. The bf has had it before and loves the family recipe made by his friend so he wasn't impressed but I really liked it. The sauteed veggies and the beef made an interesting combination with the fries! My arroz con pollo was really really good! The chicken was cooked well, the spices were excellent and the sauce with the potatoes rounded the meal off really well! The arriepa was like a pita pocket. The shredded chicken was very good as was the sauce it was marinated in. So all in all, we had an excellent first and second course. The arroz con leche is a lot like a traditional Indian rice kheer we make. It was also very good esp with the cinnamon powder sprinkled on top.

The two ladies manning the front and the kitchen were super sweet. Pricing is also very reasonable. Recommend coming here if you ever visit Hurricane!

Very glad we came here! Small place but friendly service and good food. Be patient if they get slammed by a group, only two staff but they work quickly and it’s worth the wait. The shredded beef empanada was the best I have ever had!!

The food and attention were great. We had “bistec a lo pobre” and ceviche. It was so good we decided to go back. We had chicken aji and shredded beef (Pabellón Criollo) the second time; they didn’t disappoint.
