Woodstoves and Fireplaces

I've used their service on 2 large separate projects in the past. They Installed a gas fireplace years ago and a woodstove recently. They do quality work, we use these units regularly and are happy with them. Where they truly shine, is they don't compromise on the work they do or on their integrity. They could have easily taken my money on more than one occasion for services I requested; instead, they talked me out of the services and explained why I didn't need them. I trust them, and you can't ask for any more than that.

Called to schedule pellet stove service when the unit conked out. Mark trouble shot the problem over the phone in just a couple of minutes. Saved me time, money and keeping my family warm. They’ve also done yearly service for us in the past. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.

Best buying experience ever! My husband and I heard about the wood stove exchange program. So....we walked in with a lot of questions. The show room is packed with a variety of stoves. They were on it!!! Helped with paperwork. We chose a pellet stove. They installed on time. No hassles. No mess removing the old one. Installation in a couple of hours. Friendly, fast, efficient, excellent service. Highly recommend this family owned business.

I went to 4 other places before finding Woodstoves and Fireplaces. From the first visit to look at gas fireplace inserts through the installation process, Woodstoves and Fireplaces provided superior customer service. When looking at fireplace inserts, the sales person was extremely knowledgeable and honest. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. In the ordering process, Kimm gave extremely clear directions for measuring the fireplace as well as for identifying specs for the plumber and electrician. The installation was flawless and the installers were very professional. The installers took care to cover the floor. They were extremely careful when opening boxes and removing parts. At the end of the installation, they gave me a tutorial on how to run the unit and took time to answer all of my questions. My home was left spotless, not one piece of carton or paper! I plan to use them for maintenance. Don’t waste your time with anyone else! Go directly to Woodstoves and Fireplaces!

I met up with my fiancé at their shop and they were great! They walked around every hot tub with us and went over all details, answered all of our questions. Timing and delivery also went well. Again told us everything about the install and tub upkeep. Great costumer service! I would highly recommend this company.

We had such a wonderful experience with this company. After another fireplace company essentially screwed us over, we reached out to them to replace our fireplace unit after we had a house fire. They were extremely nice and accommodating throughout the entire process and even continued to come out to our house after we called with a question. If you are looking for a fireplace for your home we would highly recommend!

Having purchased pellets in the past, and more recently a newly installed gas fireplace for our new home, the experience has been smooth and the owners and staff pleasant and always more than helpful . Any technical questions were easily answered, and the installation went very well and timely. I would certainly recommend this company.

Excellent, professional service - have been a customer since 2008 with the purchase of a pellet stove insert. I avoided this business at first based on some of the reviews but after being treated poorly at another establishment and getting a recommendation from a friend I derided to give them a visit. I met with Kimm and he quickly talked me out of the overly expensive unit I was originally going to buy. Instead he pointed me to a unit that had a better service record and was much less expensive. The guys that installed the unit were very respectful and were able to the bulk of the work with my daughter napping in the room above them! The only glitch we had was that a permit was not pulled resulting in a 200 dollar fine from our town. Karen accepted responsibility for the mistake and paid the fine for us. I can't understand the negative reviews given our experience. We love our Lopi insert and would recommend these folks to anyone.

After my brother used them for a pellet stove,based on his experience I purchased a woodstove/install etc.I could not be more happy with the entire experience.Everyone I dealt with from sales to seevice/install were friendly,patient with all my questions and what they said they would do at what time and how was always exactly how it went.I have older home and wanted to relocate the floor my stove was on.They happily sent people out a few times to evaluate how we could accomplish what I wanted.Ive recommended them to friends already and will continue too.They are the nicest,most professional people.They reminded me why it's good to support small buisness over big box stores.No way I would of gotten treated so well and received the patience with all my questions etc at a big box store.100% Satisfied with every aspect and employee I dealt with through the process

Just replaced our pellet stove with a propane heating stove today. WS&F arrived on time and did a perfect job getting the old 400 pound pellet stove out and positioned on our trailer (it’s going to Denmark Maine to replace an old wood stove there) and installing the new “wood stove look” propane stove. The fire looks so much like a wood burning stove without the hassle of wood or pellets. Just press a remote and relax. The fan is so quiet as well compared to the pellet stove. We are very happy with WS&F as we still use and enjoy the hot tub we bought from them in August of 2001. Same great people to deal with. Nice showroom to view their products. You won’t be disappointed...Bruce
