Tropical Smoothie Cafe

A good Tropical Smoothie Cafe location. I've eaten at several in different parts of the country, and the food here is just what I expect when I visit a TSC. The staff members were very friendly and helpful, and the food was served promptly and prepared properly. For those traveling on I-29, it's not far off the interstate; don't let the map fool you.

Very inconsistent experience each time...flatbread tastes alright for being microwaved, smoothies are good overall but sometimes chunky and not mixed well. The side of apple is unpredictable - I received one that was brown and mushy on one side...another time they forgot to give me a side...

Edit: fast forward a few months and the things I mentioned above seem to be fixed, so here's to a new year and new beginnings 😄

I got a Bahama Mama smoothie. They were giving them away for free. I'm glad I got it. It was so delicious. I have to go back again and get another one.

I have eaten here twice, and enjoyed it very much both times. So glad they have a plant-based protein substitute, which other smoothie/"healthy" restaurants in town don't offer. I really liked the hummus veggie wrap. I am not sure if their wraps/breads are vegan, but many of their smoothies are vegan, and they have the option to add B12 to your smoothie!

What a great addition to Brookings. The smoothies are a delicious and fun treat. I love the quesadillas, and have yet to try anything I didn't like. The staff are friendly and helpful. This business contributes generously to the community too!

Wonderful service. The line was pretty short and the food and smoothies were amazing. Also, the burritos are much larger than Scooters, and lower priced. Will be coming back soon!

I love the smoothies here. I ate something from here for the first time, and I'm really blown away with how amazing the chicken jerk wrap tastes. I look forward to trying out the other healthy food options

Looked fora place to eat with healthy options and it was wonderful! Very kind and awesome service! Good and smoothies were fabulous! Also prices were great! A must go to!

New favorite place to eat in Brookings. Beach bum smoothie and chipotle chicken club, can't go wrong. Go there pretty much every week. Only recommendation would be to include umbrellas for outside eating but again this is south dakota so maybe not realistic.

Had a great experience with this location! We had a big to-go order and they were on top of it. Everything was great! Would definitely recommend going here!

Excellent Mango smoothie. Fast service with yummy on-the-go food. It’s great to have a choice like this vs. your typical fast food restaurant!

as a vegan i get the humus wrap without cheese or ranch dressing as well as the flatbread granola sandwich. great place, fast drive through and delivery

Tropical smoothie is a quick place to get good food and a smoothie.

By far my favorite place to get a smoothie, they're so good, made perfectly & a great value.
