I live 40 miles outside of Ennis. Food is reliable, small town, middle American food. I don't know much about the time, I have stayed in one of the cabins one night and it was fine,

One of the few food establishments around where you can still sit down and trade a $20 bill for a decent burger. My burger was a bit over cooked but fries were great. They seemed a bit short handed but service was still friendly. Its my usual spot to watch football during the season.

This place is great, best food and service. Everyone is so nice and everything is super clean

A super charming place! All the rooms are little log cabins. They felt roomy, were very clean and comfortable. There was a microwave and mini fridge in our room and we had an adjoining door to the room next to us, which was fun. Our rooms had just recently been remodeled and were lovely! They had a sign saying that they are working on remodeling all the rooms over time.

We just stopped by for lunch and it was wonderful! The best burger I have had in a long time. The service/ server was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be back the next time we are passing through.

We did not stay in the lodge. We had a fantastic dinner in the bar! Callie and another staff person were very efficient and helpful and kind. We had 11 people in our group, including 4 children and Callie and helper were fantastic.

The place was right next to our hotel (Red Bear). We ordered the prime rib to split between my wife and myself. It was done to perfection and plenty big for both of us. Service was great.

6 of us stopped at the restaurant pretty late in the day. There were a few other tables filled, but our food was quick and delicious. Highly recommend the barbecue, beef, and cheddar sandwich! Service was great as well, and the prices were fair.

I am staying here at this rustic cabin for two nights for work at the nearby facility and am pretty much happy with the services I received so far - I was able to check in a little early yesterday. The front desk lady was very courteous and friendly. She made sure that my room is cleaned thoroughly and I saw several hard working housekeepers cleaned the room 23 for a while before me entering around at 1400. I also like this nice location close to the grocery stores and work.

The only reason I gave four stars for Rooms is there is no extra couch or some place to put my luggage and I have to put them on the floor. The shower booth is OK it could have looked better if the wall mounted shampoo dispenser has been refilled for other travelers. Otherthan that, it is a pretty decent motel and I would come back next time I visit Ennis.

I stayed here with 3 dogs and had no complaints. We were just passing through. Hotel is worth what we paid. Hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable.

We booked online with Priceline, but when we got there the hotel had NO record of our reservation!! Pain in the neck 😡 The Hotel manager was very kind and got us a New room at a great price! She was fantastic. We enjoyed the little old school cabins. The cabins are not fancy but enjoyable in the Wild West town of Ennis

This is the second time we've stayed here; and we love it. King rooms are spacious and very comfortable. What a view of the mountains!! With grocery store and Family Dollar less than a block away, all our essential needs were met.
The staff is so gracious; the food is amazing. We will be back in October for our Anniversary. Best place ever for under $100/night.

A great place to stop and grab a bite and a drink! Our waitress was also working behind the bar, but she was very attentive. She also did a great job sanitizing everything, from the tables after people left, to the ketchup bottles on the table. I appreciated seeing this, even in a small town business. Great place!

Stopped for lunch, and Oh My!! Best, most tender French dip I've ever had! Husband had a fabulous buffalo burger. All the beef is local. The service was so friendly, and we were assured it's all MADE TO ORDER. Want something prepared a little differently? ... just ask! Oh - and did I mention HUCKLEBERRY CREAM PIE?? Oh heck yeah!

Wonderful hosts and staff! Very accommodating and helpful above and beyond. Michelle and Chad are amazing as are all those that partake in making you have a memorable experience. Lovely updated rustic cozy cabins, delicious menu. All fresh, great beef and homemade pies🤗👍 a decimate come back to place!!! Continued success.

Dinner was fabulous. The service was outstanding the people are terrific, the decorations are cool. I would recommend the 5 star service to anyone. Kevin was great and grateful that Austin was there to rescue me when I needed more lettuce. Thank you for the great evening.

We stayed in a room and had dinner at the restaurant. The rooms were dated but spacious and clean. All the staff were awesome. But, I’d recommend at least a meal in the restaurant and ask for Zaren. A phenomenal waitress. Her brother works there too and is also awesome. Great food too. This is a must stop.

Excellent for my meal my husband had the spaghetti & the pasta was very dry. But they made up for it with a free dessert. It was chocolate sea salt Carmel so so good. Service was 10 THUMBS up.
$$ I had apple cinnamon ribs. Mouth watering. Great atmosphere open for Lunch & dinner.

This was the cutest room to stay in, ever! The owner was so helpful and kind. The room was so cozy, we just loved it! There's no TV in the room, but they do have free WiFi. The room was really clean. The only thing wrong was that the mattress was really uncomfortable. Everything else was wonderful! The view out our window was beautiful!
