The service was amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful and the people were even nicer, live music with an amazing singer and the food was insanely good. I complimented a server and she was so sweet. (So pretty, by the way. Claw clip, necklaces.. great eyeliner) our server checked in on us at great times, had great advice on menu options, and was overall super sweet and helpful. 100% recommend!!

Love this place! We like to sit at the bar and enjoy drinks and a meal. Even during busy times the bartenders are awesome and attentive. Servers are wonderful too. Food is always delicious! I recommend the pickle fries. I've gotten to know the owner, Amanda, as we had our wedding at the Lakeside Villa attached to the restaurant and she is amazing.

Met some friends there for Singo. Had a bar pizza was really good, service was great.

My mom tried this place when it first opened as she lives in Halifax and raved about how good the food was so we went today for lunch and it was DELICIOUS!!!!! My daughter and I had paninis and my mom had a burger. The short rib panini was on point! Corn dip was creamy and delicious. Our waitress was super accommodating...I believe her name was Cindy. If you haven't already been I highly recommend you do. I will absolutely be making the drive from Taunton again!

The food here is incredible! You can tell everything is homemade with care. The pickle fries appetizer with the special sauce were amazing. My husband got steak tips and they were perfectly marinated. I got a Buffalo chicken wrap with fries and it was delicious too. We ordered delivery a few nights later and it was also great- Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, a burger, and a small cheese pizza- all awesome!

The service was very good, the food was amazing!! Prices reasonable. Will be going back often. Breakfast and lunches are so good!?

All of the meals we got were amazing! I got a fried scallop plate, giant, cooked perfectly and piled high at that! During Covid (the last year and change) finding a fried scallop plate with scallops bigger than a quarter was next to impossible. I'm glad I ordered them here because I was so happy that they were giant sea scallops that people are accustomed to getting. Super friendly staff and great food, what more can you ask for. It's on the water so during the warmer months it's probably beautiful. Definitely go if you can

Local Lakeview Hidden Gem! I was recently on a scenic tour around twin lakes in Halifax, when I noticed the beautiful lakeview establishment 550 Tavern and Event Venue. It happened to be a rainy day outside, but inside we were greeted with a very warm welcoming local staff. The hostess, grade A+ for her genuine hospitality. The wait staff were prompt attentive knew the menu and made wonderful suggestions. The menu had wonderful mix of veggie, NE seafood, salads, chicken, and beef options together with traditional pub tavern favorites i.e. pizza, wings burgers and panini's. The Tavern had a specials menu and Prime Rib is on it Thursday to Saturday, I will return with friends for that! In addition, they have a wonderful breakfast menu Wen-Sun. I can say I will be back to try it. The menu is fantastic. The 505 Tavern is attached to a venue event space, no doubt the food and the serenity of the lake atmosphere is great. On this visit we tried the NE Clam chowder made on premise, garlic aioli chicken wings and a classic cheeseburger. All food was hot, generous portions and tasted excellent. The Tavern had a main dining area, outdoor lakeside patio and large bar area. The clientele were a mix of families with children, young couples and older couples. If you want to catch a game, ample tv's were within view.

Jared our server was amazing. Could not wait to try the fries which apparently had bad reviews. They were great along with the rest of the meal. Do not listen to the bad reviews and give it a try. Service was great and we were not rushed There were 4 of us and nothing to complain about. Looking forward to our next visit.

I’ve been to 550 Tavern (formerly BR’s) and always enjoy the atmosphere where I can look at the glistening water outside along with great food. I love their pizza, taco salad, chicken tenders and, of course, breakfast is always great. The bartenders and waitresses are so friendly as well as the owner. The drinks are good but very pricey. I’ll keep going there.

The chicken Supreme and prime rib are the best I've ever had. Drinks are good and service is always with a smile.

Food was outstanding, we ordered the steak and cheese panini and Greek salad with Buffalo chicken on top everything was fresh, portions were more than enough for this big guy. definitely will be back

Wife and I walked in 1130 am 12-19-21 to a very warm welcome the the waitress was very friendly and professional I had the eggs benedict my wife had the harvest plate it was absolutely delicious very well made mine also was very filling and very yummy we will return again we've been there a few times and we will recommend this place 100%. Thank you for the such great service on a very busy Sunday wife and I walked in again 5-21-22 7am had delicious breakfast again services always super friendly service all the time that I come in and my wife the place is always clean and they always say thank you for your service and come again with a smile

We had the prime rib panini, it was amazing!!

First time dining here and i was very impressed.Server was great and attentive, food portions were very big. The chicken Supreme was delicious and the "redrum" sandwich was amazing.
