Deep Bottom Park

Great place for boating, fishing, and birding. The park is well maintained and has clean restrooms. Nice dock and boat launch and not as crowded as some of the other waterfront parks. Explored the park on foot but plan on coming back with kayaks to explore more by water.

Great little public boat ramp and small park attached. The park isn't much and most of the area is wild, but I've had some good fishing at the dock. Blue catfish, channel cats, eels, crabs, largemouth bass, stripers, herring, and probably some others depending on the time of year.

Great place to walk along the creek, get some fresh air, and maybe catch a fish. There's also canoe/ kayak and bigger boat launches here.

Good boat ramp to launch your boat.

We put our kayaks in at the canoe/kayak dock on the creek, then pulled them out at the boat launch. Having the bathrooms is a plus.

Nice boating area. Access to James for power boats, dock on small creek for kayaks or canoes. There are also canoes available. Relatively clean restrooms on site, free parking.

This is always a nice little park to visit. Perfect place to launch a boat into the river or a canoe. It's never too crowded either and very quiet.

This place is small but beautiful. Looks like a great place to launch a canoe or kayak. I will definitely be coming back.

Nice place to paddle around. Interesting historical markers about the pontoon bridge here during the Civil War.
