Purchased the "Mother Clucker" chicken burrito and the "Stelote" burrito, which is chopped steak and elite corn. Along with a side of black beans and rice... Wow! Both were fantastic. Great small spot to lunch. Next door, they remodeled their dining area with a different menu, which I will have to try another day.

This restaurant is fantastic! The drinks are 10/10 .. I can’t remember the last time I had 2 of the cucumber margaritas that made me feel at home with the natural ingredients. The staff are wonderful and very respectful. Salvador is fantastic, with a warming and comforting personality. The flautas are crispy, tasty, and filling. The green salsa is my favorite one yet.. and I have many to choose from. Will be coming back again! The tequila options are beautiful and the shots are just as good as the drinks.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. The flavors in their food are so rich and delicious that every bite feels like a flavor explosion! It's genuinely authentic Mexican cuisine, and they're generous with their ingredients. Their burritos are massive and always packed full. Plus, they're incredibly fast and efficient—I've never had to wait, and they've never made a mistake on any of my orders. I prefer to take my food to go and enjoy it right away for the best experience. Carbon never fails to impress! 👌👌👌

The things you find under expressways aren’t always bad. Like Carbón Live Fire Mexican Grill for example. There they are serving up some of Chicago’s best Mexican food. On my visit I tried the Stelote which combines two of my favorite things, tender steak and elotes. All wrapped up in a flour tortilla served with onions, cilantro and crema. Had to try a barbacoa taco as well. Didn’t enjoy it as much as the burrito but still good. Washed it all down with a bottle of Coke from Mexico. Who has two thumbs and was very satisfied? This guy!

This place is now one of my favorite loval spots. Their food has so much flavor I’m literally having a mouthgasm with every bite :) It is truly authentic Mexican food. And they don’t skimp on ingredients. Their burritos are gigantic and always super stuffed. They’re also super fast and efficient. Never a wait and no mistakes on any orders I placed with them. I never ate in, I always take it to go. I recommend picking up and eating it right away for best experience. Carbon never disappoints 👌👌👌

Found this place on google maps and all the pictures looked delicious so we went tonight to grab some food. Small but pleasant eatery, we dined in, I had the steak taco with Elote on it, and an order of chips and guacamole. My husband had that steak burrito. All of it was absolutely delicious 🤤 if you love Mexican food, try this place!

I get a Grubhub delivery order from my employer, today I chose Carbon. I ordered the Tortilla encrusted COD Salad Bowl.
It came in a very good box which kept it in one piece.
It was very tasty, and prepared the way I asked.
I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Quick little hidden gem nice service real quick not even 5 min in and out good flavor the real spicy salsa bought me back to my mom salsa must try won’t be disappointed

We were really happy we stopped here on our way to Indiana. I got the Mother Clicker burrito and it had really good flavors and chicken that wasn't dried out! I would definitely stop here again. The staff was very nice too. Keep in mind though only a few seats.

Great flavors and value! I always enjoy their burritos, especially the Mother Clucker and the Steak Fajita. I ordered a large order recently for an event and everything was organized and wrapped perfectly. Great work, highly recommend

The smell and food was incredible. I got the steak burrito and my mom got the chicken fajita. They were both full with meat and tasted absolutely incredible. The price was also incredibly cheap for the food.

Had a quick lunch there with my sister. The preparation time was quick, portions are nice and the food is actually good. Can’t complain about the amount of meat I received with my order. Definitely will be coming back when in the area.

The burrito bowls are a lot of food for a good price. They keep fine if you are doing take away. I suggest ordering ahead otherwise the wait is around 10 minutes

I ordered a steak, chicken & fish taco. I wasn’t sure what would be the best so I tried all 3. The fish taco was my least favorite. It needed a little more flavor but still ate the whole thing. The steak & chicken tacos were excellent. I added cheese to all 3.

Service was super friendly but then again I make sure to treat employees with the upmost respect & show appreciation. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be sure to stop by again. Guac & chips were 8 bucks but it was an 8 Oz portion & it was excellent.

Just know it’s so good and never disappoints. I personally like the Elote, fish taco, chicken taco, steak taco. Very tasty I eat it right away lol

I love the fish tacos with the red roasted pepper sauce. The elotes weren't that great to me this time around. Usually, they are pretty good.

What a wonderful experience this was for lunch. From Ohio, so this was my 1st time here and I was not disappointed! I'll just say The Mother-Clucker! Definitely worth trying!😋

Unbelievable food and unbelievable service. Can't wait for the opening of their cantina which will undoubtedly be amazing!
