Liberty University

We were heading south on vacation and decided to stop by Liberty University. Our oldest daughter is attending Liberty online so this was her first time seeing the campus. Wow! It is an absolutely gorgeous and pristine campus. I am glad that we stopped by and checked it out. It definitely was impressive.

We were here for vhsl state football championships. It's been a few years since attending for our graduations from Liberty- what a change! Extra seating, little turf-fields (I'm going to pretend those were built for my kids to play-haha!), And plenty of entrances so that we weren't bottlenecking at every check in. We also had great concessions and not-so-hot chocolate, but the ladies were super fast and courteous!

The band will always be the football team's greatest fans. It's been a joy to watch these guys bond and grow this year!

I’m taking classes online and I can’t say enough good about this school. The instructors and classes are top notch. The admissions and advising departments are available, helpful, and friendly. Just an overall very positive experience and quality education.

Very nice campus. So much of the campus is new and more construction going on still.

Very clean, beautiful & welcoming campus. So much to do. I see why so many want to go to this school. Very well organized too!!

Very well administered university, striving for excellence in keeping with a true Christianity-based mission. My graduate and many others I've met love their times spent at LU. I've met some amazingly smart and talented kids at LU.
Best of all, its academics and administration don't cater to the leftist academic and social theories that dominate and have corrupted most universities. Low cost of course compared to the insanely expensive elite schools. Beautifully designed and continuously improving campus. An hour or so from the Blue Ridge Parkway and mountain trails.

Liberty is a good school and a really awesome place to visit. The history of prayer here is inspiring and convicting. Prayer Mountain is a must see. Beautiful campus and strong emphasis on Christian values and patriotism. Would definitely come back here again!

We visited Liberty tower today. The view is amazing. You can take an elevator to the 15th floor and there is an Indoor viewing area. There is another elevator that will take you to the 17th floor and an outdoor viewing area. You can see the distant mountains and much of the nearby city. The common area outside is decorated nicely for Christmas as well

Being a student at this university has been quite a wonderful experience. To be honest I think it’s one of the it’s not the most state of the art schools in the world. It’s impossible to get bored here. I will say though one thing about this place is that if you come here on fire for Jesus then you’ll find people on fire for Jesus but if you come here to party then you’ll find the party people so make of it what you want. Yes there’s been some drama here in the past few years but there’s drama everywhere and Liberty has been able to manage it pretty well I’d say. I absolutely love every single professor that I’ve had here, they’ve gone above and beyond to help make sure that I get an education of quality. (Professor Mott at digital media is by far the best professor I’ve had, so take him if you’re going into media!)

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting the campus and interacting with staff and students. This is a special place.

Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. Chick Fil A, Dunkin Donuts and many others. Dining options in same building as library.

I have spent 3 years at LU, and have consistently been impressed by the quality, rigor and real world preparation that my courses have provided. The professors are dedicated, in touch with the students and future members of our respective fields. The campus is beautiful and state of the art. Liberty and Lynchburg are comfortable places to call home. You will find good and bad at any institution. However, I would not trade my time, experiences or knowledge attained here for anything.

I have an amazing experience at LU online. They accepted my transcript from my last university even when it was out of U.S. I love that you can do all the proceess online (no videoconference or phone call necessary) also you can add or drop your courses if you follow your degree completion correctly. Additionally, financial aid works fast if you have to wait for refunds.

Wonderful School to study in a Christian environment. Beautiful Campus. Top notch security. Fun activities. Competitive sports teams. Great venues.

I’m completing a doctoral program in Curriculum and Instruction, and after completing two other online degrees from other universities, I am so impressed with Liberty! The quality of communication, feedback, and support is unmatched. Even as an online student, I have access to every resource necessary and feel adequately prepared to access and use them. Also, I am always able to connect with a professor or anyone else from whom I need answers or support. I highly recommend Liberty for online programs!

Great place for a concert! Seating isn’t all cramped with no leg room. Comfortable seating, easy to find seats, with help available if needed. Liberty University is easy to find and holds various other events, like Winter Fest, for fun family activities. Grounds are well kept, even for winter concerts!

So awesome what 45 and counting years have produced for Liberty U. The campus has grown substantially since it's inception. So to now include it's own on-site book store where the students, staff, and families can get supplies, text books, even national best seller is incredible. Not sure if Liberty U has a franchise type operation with Barnes and Noble but I'm pretty sure they have a Starbucks on-site at the bookstore as well. So its everything bookworms love all at one place. I wouldn't be surprised if the community within the town around the University go as patrons to the bookstore and Starbucks because of its centrality within a small town.

Took a tour of the campus when I was up there for business. They have a ton of amenities for students and all of their buildings are well thought out. It was a very nice campus and they keep adding more and more new buildings.

Such a beautiful university. Kept so clean, absolutely gorgeous. Education is of high quality A+++

This place was certainly not built for the 40,000 people there for graduation; however, it is a beautiful campus. The grounds are very clean, and the people are very welcoming. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. No "townies" bumming around on campus. Adequate security. If you're going to a graduation, I recommend the parking garage. I had no clue about that until I walked across campus in the rain. Students, communicate with your families! 😂
