Kenko Hibachi

An old favorite, the food is delicious and, even though the place is small, it has a really nice atmosphere to eat with a date or friends. Best pork egg rolls I've ever had, and they're huge. Boba and alcohol are also available!!!!

The food is always fresh and very hot, and I'm always impressed and pleased. The excellent quality is super consistent, and they aim to please. There offer a lot of healthy food choices.
I love the Shrimp egg rolls and the Shrimp Mei Fun. They are rice noodles, so it's a gluten-free option.

I am so happy that the restaurant I intended to go to dinner at tonight did not update their Christmas Hours online. I got there and it was closed. Thankfully Kenko Hibachi was open a couple of doors down. I had never been there before but usually you know what to expect at any hibachi place, but they are not the typical hibachi joint. Kenko's food was absolutely fantastic, the wait was very short, the staff was very polite, and they even let us eat there when it is posted "To-Go Only".

I am super impressed. Their food is so much better than any of the places in town where they make it with a show in front of you. You know which ones I am talking about. Give this place a chance, you won't be disappointed.

My favorite place I go here about twice a week. Everyone who works there is amazing and the food is great. Highly recommend!

First time eating here and WOW!! It is amazing! From the delivery being super fast, to the plating of the to go orders! It looks amazing and tastes amazing! One of the only places left I can get onion soup still!! Thank you for such an awesome dinner tonight! We will be ordering from you guys again!!

I got the bento box and it was delectable! The hibachi chicken had an amazing flavor!! For 12 dollars, it was worth it! Sushi, chicken, rice, spring roll, and wontons. Wasabi was spicy tho but so good!

The food is absolutely delicious and worth every bit of the wait. They only have 6 or so tables so do expect a really long wait. I was doubtful at first if it would be worth the wait. But it is. The food was so good and decent portions. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. This is small and loud so the atmosphere isn't perfect if you are looking for a quiet restaurant for a date or important conversation. And everyone can hear everyone else's conversations. This is the only reason I didn't mark 5 stars for atmosphere. It is simply loud. My only wish is that we could plant this delicious gem in a larger space. But don't mess with perfection. This might become my new favorite takeout restaurant.

Best Hibachi around! My family a I came in a few days back and ordered the Chicken Yakisoba, the Beef Hibachi dinner and the Chicken Hibachi dinner (both dinners came with fried rice and veggies) and Pork Egg rolls .. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! The noodles from the yakisoba were tender and flavorful .. the Hibachi beef was perfectly cooked, super tender with loads of flavor and the Hibachi chicken was the same!! Can I just give a special shout out to the veggies👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 .. like, the BEST veggies I've ever had and a great variety of veggies to eat!! Just go!! Get in the car and go .. eat and enjoy!! Your welcome!!

Kenko is a great place for hibatchi because the vegetables are so tasty; especially the zucchini. I love the chicken fried rice but usually get the hibatchi chicken. I also get their mango and passion fruit tea because it reminds me of bubble tea. Their yum yum sauce is more sweet than I would prefer, but I usually put some garlic powder in it and it’s fine.

I have been going to Kenko Hibachi since 2021. Recently, while traveling, I ordered from another hibachi restaurant. I will not do that again. It was horrible. Kenko Hibachi has my taste buds spoiled with their delicious dinners. They have the right mix of ingredients that are so pleasing.

Kenko Hibachi, I am about to relocate to Glen Allen Virginia. Please consider opening a restaurant there so that I can continue to enjoy your dinners.

The food was excellent! The choices were wonderful too. I love rice noodles and they have them. Better quality food than typical Japanese fast food.

Just popped in to grab a boba tea to go. The staff was so friendly and fast. My boba was delicious, sweet, cold, and the to go cup was so sturdy.

Came out of town for training and just so happen to find this place and I am thoroughly glad I did! Phenomenal food, anyone who is coming to this area should most definitely try this food out! 20/10 for sure!
