The Northwestern House

First time visiting this establishment and it didn't disappoint. We were on our way back home from our property in Northern Wisconsin and was looking for a place in Sheboygan to get a bite to eat. I went on Yelp and this place had good reviews. The place was busy, but we got a table right away! The waitress was friendly and attentive. We received our drinks and she took our food order. We received our food within 10 minutes after ordering which was a shock to us. We are used to waiting for a while with all the staff shortages every where. It was on a Friday so we got the perch fish fry platter for 2, it was fresh, hot and delicious! Plenty of food, four pieces of fish each, tons of French fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce with two slices of bread. I highly recommend this place and will be returning next time going Up-north!

Passed Gosse and finally has a chance to try them out! It's a nice little homely building inside and out, fitted with a dining room and bar and is very clean as well as easy to move around in and is aided by a generally pleasant atmosphere. Service was great and attentive, no problems there! Food was very good! I got some nice and crispy tater tots, a very scrumptious four piece boasted chicken and potatoes dinner and lastly a nigh decadent red velvet torte I had to pace myself from wolfing down, all at a very good price! No problems, I really liked Gosse and will probably go back again sometime.

Best Butter Burgers In Town!!!
Amazing food and the desserts are incredible. Customer service is sweet and very friendly. Small, but cozy feeling. Parking is limited, but street parking available.

Cafe type feel. Absolutely love the steak sandwich! Also cheese curds. Went again today, the raspberry cream torte was very delicious. Awesome waitress, very pleasant.

Love the 10x10 Broasted Chicken takeout order. Hot and delicious. Friendly service of Ian and Elizabeth. Heath torte is amazing.

Nice atmosphere and bar, good service. This place is serving up the best brats I've ever experienced... period. The butter on top was sublime and rich The bun exactly toasted perfect and the grilled onions just tied it all together perfectly. Highly recommend.

The broasted chicken was amazing, both crispy and juicy. The potatoes weren't as crispy as I was hoping, but still good

It was a Friday night, and we heard the perch dinner was good. After a 15-minute wait (they were busy as they had been closed for a week on vacation), we were quickly seated and had placed our drink and dinner orders. My wife opted for the perch sandwich. My brother and sister-in-law opted for butter burgers and sweet potato fries. No disappointment. The food was great. We will go back!

This hidden gem is our go-to favorite when we travel through town. The train decor is fun for young and old. But the main reason to come is the chicken! BEST FRIED CHICKEN in town.

One of the best spots around, Hands down the best steak sandwich ever, and the broasted chicken is delicious! A variety of homeade tortes daily, meaning a choice of 5-10 different varieties daily and all have been 10/10.

A really nice casual place to eat! They are famous for their broasted chicken and perch dinners, and also tortes. We had enough food to eat, plus enough to take home for another meal. The prices are good too!

Best place in the county for a great steak sandwich. Ask for light butter if you don't want butter running down your arms while you eat; but for those who say the more, the better, dive in! Staff is always friendly and courteous. Remember to bring cash, they do not accept anything but that. There IS an ATM on site should you forget. Enjoy!!!

My co-worker suggested The Northwestern House to me. He told me if we were not satisfied, he would reimburse me for the check. Needless to say, the phone call to my co-worker was not to say get your wallet out. It was to tell him he was very right! We stop every time we are in the area!

Had the fish fry and steak sandwich delicious. Cash only. Oh and the Old Fashions are delicious as well.
