Isabella's Italian Trattoria

The best part of being at Isabella’s was Lizzie our server! Our entire party of 6 was crazily impressed by her friendliness, care, smile and service. The food was great too. The lasagna reminded me of ones I had in Europe. My girls loved the ribeye and salmon The tiramisu was on point!

Traveling from out of state we were searching for a place to fine dine and we found it! Isabella’s did not disappoint! We simply can not stop thinking about it! We were greeted at the door by friendly staff. We opted to sit in the bar area. I can not say enough about “Maggie” with her mixology talent! She is clearly extremely educated in the spirit world! My dirty martini and old fashion was AMAZING! She also knows her wine! Back home we are calamari snobs very few get it right! Isabella’s does it right it was perfectly cooked! My chicken piccata with artichoke was delicious and my husband had no complaints with his ribeye! Our dessert of Limoncellos and espressos topped our evening! Oh an if you want a quick high quality best old fashion you’ve ever tasted before your Lyft arrives they make that happen too! Thank you all for a very memorable dining experience!

This place was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My boyfriend surprised me with a gorgeous necklace, and the staff helped create a memorable moment.
By the way. Our waiter was correct, recommending the lasagna. It was truly the best I've had.

We had the daily special of shrimp linguine, then chicken and sausage orecchiette. Both were phenomenal!! The meat was tender, very flavorful, the white sauce was also so delicious. Shrimp entree was well seasoned and above expectations. Highly recommend this restaurant!

if i could give more than 5 stars- i would!!! tonight was our first time there and we will definitely be coming back. the service was out of this world, very nice and attentive. the meals were on that same level, absolutely delicious.

Went to Isabella's with my family on 10-13-18 to celebrate my oldest daughter's birthday. We arrived at our reservation time ( reservation recommended) and were seated promptly in a comfortable booth. It is a clean and nicely appointed facility. The menu has a nice selection of appetizers, entrees and deserts. There is also a nice selection of wine and beers as well as a full bar. Our server was Ruth and she was excellent. I would ask for her again. Friendly, professional, courteous and very attentive to anything we needed during the meal. When she found out that it was my daughters birthday she was gracious enough to offer her desert complementary for the occasion. The house salad was very good and a generous portion. We all had different main courses and we all found then to be wonderful. I had a chicken and sausage dish which was outstanding in flavor and presentation and also generously portioned.
Desert and coffee was at the same high level as the rest of the meal. It's a bit upscale on pricing but for what you receive its its a good value. I would definitely recommend and definitely return for a special occasion.

The experience at Isabella's is top-notch. The wonderful experience created by the truly phenomenal food, and an atmosphere that is upscale yet not pretentious was accentuated by our attentive and friendly server, Lizzie. Completely blown away by our experience this evening. We ordered a couple of cocktails, both were crisp and refreshing, not to mention pretty. All of the food we ordered was generous in portion, well worth the price, cooked to absolute perfection. Our waitress was attentive and always came at the right time to refill drinks or check in on us, and was also very pleasant to interact with! Went above and beyond. Love this place! Will most likely be back here on another date night!

Food is freshly prepared and delicious. I'm never disappointed. Environmental is perfect for nice relaxing dinner. Very clean and beautifully decorated.

Dined here for the first time a few weeks ago. I absolutely loved everything! From the service, to the seafood bisque, to the tiramisu and cannoli... Everything was phenomenal! Can't wait to go back!

Everytime I've gone to Isabella's the food and drinks have been so delicious and such hearty portions. One of our meals stretched for dinner and one lunch leftover and the other meal got 2 lunches of leftovers. The tiramisu is sooo good. Highly recommend

Great recommendation for solid food, cocktails, wine, and service; unique, sometimes rare, craft cocktails that are super well made at the well-appointed bar, delicious seafood appetizer choices for our large table (9-10 guests), great specials (scallops and rockfish!) and pasta stand-outs, plus a very efficient but well-rounded wine list (we loved a red and a white from northern Italy)

Definitely delicious. Exquisite. We were a big party and well taken care of. Probably the best dinner in Lynchburg. So glad we got to try this place!! Would highly recommend for a swanky dinner date or a top notch experience. The shrimp special was good with risotto!!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Isabella's on a recent trip to Lynchburg. The service was outstanding. Josh, the bartender, was extremely knowledgable, passionate and outgoing. He served up two amazing dealer's choice cocktails, one with gin and one with bourbon. For food, I had the fried artichokes as a starter, which were delicious and then the Angry Bee pizza for an entree (pictured here). It was decadent and don't forget a side of their homemade ranch. Five stars all around.

The server was friendly, knowledgeable, she checked on us often! Everyone we spoke to was fantastic! I would highly recommend Isabella's.
