Magic Special Events

Magic Special Events was great to work with. We worked with them to rent tents tables, chairs, bounce house, coolers and speakers for our summer cookout. The set up crews were on time and left our yard cleaner than they found it. Harry worked with me to increase the tents chairs and tables last minute when we had a bunch of RSVP's come in late.

Overall just amazing company and I will be using them for all future events.

Magic Special Events helped us make our wedding day so special! They have a vast selection of linens, decor, lighting, props…you name it, they got it! Woody and Harry were so helpful in our vision and Eric made the magic happen! Eric was so thorough in everything we had envisioned and created something even better than we could’ve imagined! He was our go to guy with any questions on the day and he is an incredible person to work with! Magic had a huge hand in making our wedding day the best day ever and we cannot thank them enough for all their work! ❤

I own a wedding planning company here in Richmond. We hired Magic Special Events for cold sparklers + fog for the first dance + a cold sparkler exit.

The sparklers were a huge hit and there was a small issue with the fog.

The technician was flexible, kind and ready to make it work for us.

We received a thoughtful email about the issue the Tuesday after the wedding and they resolved the issue swiftly.

We will definitely be recommending MSE to our clients in the future!

We used Magic Events for the first time this year for a corporate picnic. Eric and the entire staff from the initial phone call until the end of the event clean up were so helpful, accommodating and just amazing to work with. Looking forward to working with them on an event in 2024!!!

Great work on making our 70th anniversary event a success. I have heard nothing but compliments on the event. There are even some retirees that have said that this was one of the best events we have ever had. Woody and his team do amazing things!

My entire experience from start to finish was excellent! Wonderful array of props some of which will appear on The Lincoln Theater stage in late April! Mimi was a pleasure to work with. I rented the cold sparks machine (sparkler machines) from Magic Special Events for a gender reveal. This company has been simply amazing. From the first time I called them, they were so pleasant and super helpful. The rental process was easy as 1,2,3. They were great on communication through my whole renting process which was great because I am located an hour away from them. Even with my last minute request, they were able to assist me and get me up and running with the payment and pick up process of the machines. And when I came to pick them up , I had a step by step demonstration on step up and operation and he made it very simple and easy to remember and understand. I RECOMMEND 10 out of 10.

We got an inflatable water slide for our summer camp and it was great! They were very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be using them next year too!!

MSE is always super reliable and easy to work with. They recently provided a novelty and multiple inflatables for an event at CNU. We had a location change the morning of the event, but they were very flexible and understanding. I look forward to working with Eric and MSE again!

Magic Special Events saved my dance recital this year! Their prices are affordable, customer service was fantastic, and the guys that set-up were friendly and professional. If you need a stage or any other needs for a party or event, I highly recommend!

Our team could not have picked a better vendor for our long-term project and series of large events. Magic Special Events helped to make our events run smoothly and look professional. As this was for a surprise birthday party, setup timing was of the utmost importance. The scheduling staff, was friendly and helpful in ensuring that setup was scheduled during a specific time frame. The setup and tear down staff arrived at the designated time, and were very professional during the process.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Magic! They had great ideas for innovative ways to enhance our event and were easy to work with-our Fifth Grade families had a Graduation experience they will never forget! I highly recommend Woody and his team!

Yesterday, Magic Special Events catered for a Spring bbq event at my college campus, Northern Virginia Community College. If I could give more than 5 stars I would because their staff was super friendly and their food was fabulous. One employee in particular was socially approachable and on top of handing out hot dogs. So I want to give a shout out to Maleke for some great service. Overall, a great company with good staff and delicious food. 👍

Woody and his team at Magic Special events made my pandemic baby shower more of a success than I ever thought imaginable. I was so worried about being outside in the August heat, but we had no other choice thanks to COVID-19. Woody and his team brought tents to clock the sun and fans to keep us all cool. His team made my Pinterest pictures and ideas in my head come to life. We had beautiful table center pieces, decorations, an incredible food display, a “throne” for us to open presents on and beautifully decorated game tables. There’s so much that went into making my special day perfect and I can’t thank them enough! 🥰

We used Magic Special Events for our wedding exit with cold fireworks! It was absolutely incredible! Great company to work with!

As a nonprofit, we are working hard to find creative ways to raise money. We rented the dunk booth and raised nearly $2500 over the weekend. It was a perfect activity during the hot summer months and we were able stay socially distant. This was the right rental at the right time. Magic made it easy and seamless. We will be using them again and again.
