The Hillcrest on Spanish trail is a smaller Church. They have a wonderful Pastor and worship group. Hillcrest also has a baseball field.

First time visiting from Michigan. This local Body of Christ = church is as I hoped. My brothers in Christ. Gathered to worship our Lord & God. His Word was opened, read aloud, taught from and blessed this hearer. The connect class I went to was a for Seniors - listen here They do not skip the reading of The Word of God. Prayer for one another & others in need. The deal with who the Word says we are to IN Christ according to His WORD. The brothers in class were mature in Christ not just long on the Earth residents. But godly mature in Christ. Refreshing. Worship is a matter of the heart. I came to worship God corporately. Pastor was on a screen. The WORD again read, preached from and given out. I absolutely was touched as the whole body of adults prayed over the children before they go to their Sunday School lesson. Beautiful. I did feel sad for the Elders of the Church Body. Because they are not able to worship truly to participate with the younger believers. The music has left them behind. I wish Worship allowed them easier entrance into corporate worship of our God. But they ARE Faithful to Him not to music styles, leaders or preachers but faithful enduring servants. I just wish the youngers would look back and see the God of these saint is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. That deferring to Elders, as Fathers & Mothers and sing worship songs as faith bricks from the Word of God that had been laid. Be tender hearted tiwards one another. Defer a bit to those who will soon enter His presence. Give to those who gave to your faith. As a group A Body of Christ here is still a beautiful living God glorifying assembly. Thank you. A Michigan Sister thanks God fir your His Body in Pensacola.

Edited review: sent my kids to daycare here and the church gave parents 30 days back in December to find a new daycare because the daycare would close in January. Was told the reason was because they financially could no longer support it.

I have a question for the pastor…. How’s that new construction going? Did you lie to the parents and all the workers about why you were closing? Was it for financial reasons, or was it because you wanted to use the space for something else? As a Christian, you should know that it’s a sin to lie, so would be interesting to know why suddenly, after the daycare has been closed for just over a month, construction is happening in and around the building the daycare was in. How long has this construction been planned? Would seem very quick to get a plan, a contractor, the funding for it and begin it all in less than 30 days. Pastor, how did that happen so fast? Or did it not happen that fast and you lied? Lol
