Lots of cool, local products to choose from; I bought a bottle of honey made right in downtown Richmond. Best picked produce daily. Help keep small business alive and come see these folks. Cannot be happier this business exists in my community.

Just walked in for the first time today. The owner and her staff were so kind, warm and engaging! The produce was priced very well. They carry a selection of meats, pastas, seasonings, etc. specifically Sauers seasonings - which have probably been sold in markets along this strip for the past 100 years. It’s a huge blessing to have this convenient little market right in our neighborhood.
I was ecstatic to find wild pear kombucha from blue ridge Bucha. I used to buy cases of wild pear kombucha from Aldi’s, but they stopped carrying it! I hope that she’ll continue carrying it!

River City Market is a great place for select groceries and gifts! You'll find lots of products from local makers and artists. It had a strong communal feel and much better ambiance than a generic grocery store. The owner was very friendly. Highly recommend!

I've been going to River City Market for a few months now. I love how this establishment has continued to get even better over time! I love the great selection of organic and locally sourced produce and it's at affordable prices!! The samples of new products is also a treat. Yesterday I had an opportunity to sample radish and kale micro greens and they were very delicious! I love this neighborhood market!!

I’ve shopped here a few times for the freshest ginger. It’s amazing. Customer service was great; warm and engaging. Definitely returning.

I know where I'm getting my groceries from now on!! Ms Zatima brightened my day with her energy the moment I walked in and I can't wait to see the Market grow along with Brookland Park Blvd. I know when I shop here it's going back into community hands where it belongs. On top of that, she made sure to ask if there was anything I missed that she could stock! Such a solid local biz.

River City Market has a new lifelong customer! A black owned market that has fresh non-GMO foods and a variety of holistic wellness products. The fruit and vegetables are locally sourced, meaning no harmful pesticides. And the customer service? SUPERB. I got all my questions answered, and left with $100 worth of groceries for half of the price. Thank you Sister! I will see you soon.

Thank you for helping to end the fresh food desert in Northside Richmond! I was so excited to see the vegan burgers, almond milk, natural soaps, and other products. Highly recommend this place!!

Zatima introduced us to all the goodies in this market even allowed is to indulge in samples!!! The veggies are local amd fresh!!! She even hady favorite toothpaste!!! This is market definently has a place in my budget!!!
