Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond Airport

I love this hotel. I stay every time I pass thru the area, the people who work there have always been so nice to me. The Gentleman who works the morning shift is awesome he helped me get out of another very nasty motel nearby, he got me into a very clean and nice room at his hotel on a very busy weekend and I am Forever Greatful for that. Hands Down this is the Best Hotel in the Sandston area💯

We have been staying here off and on many years the new owners have done a fabulous remodel of this hotel
It is clean and fresh was a very good stay

Ms. NeeNee is an awesome, knowledgeable, great customer service representative for this hotel, & the staff here are to be commended for being as accommodating as possible to their guests! I'd definitely revisit them again when in the Richmond, Va. area! Very close to the Richmond Airport, too!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It is quite and very peaceful as it is back from the road. Staff was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. When ever we come back to Richmond we will definitely stay again.

Upon arrival found elevator was out of service an my room was on the top floor. Mind you i had big luggage an jus travel 7 hours on the bus. First room was not clean bed dirty. Had to change rooms. Second Room kinda on the small side. Found it weird when I asked for more linen they said I would have to bring down the dirty ones. That's house keeping job not mine.

I have been here a couple of weeks and will be here a couple more. Staff is very nice.Rooms are clean but only have a small refrigerator and microwave. They were very accommodating same as we had to be in school at 6 they served our breakfast earlier than usual don't know of any other hotel that would have done that for us. Thank you guys for being so kind to us.

Well I'm adding to my post. I have been here several weeks. The staff has always been polite and kind to me. Any problem I've had has been fixed in a timely manner. They kept my room clean and towels changed. They mailed my letters and gave me my mail. I have enjoyed my stay here and will miss their kindness. You never know what a smile can do! Thank you!!

Needed a place to stay in business. Quickly found an amazing flash sale. Made a reservation over the phone a few minutes away around 1am.

Front desk attendant was friendly, happy to see me and my partner, and quick to the point so we could get some sleep. Rooms were clean, bed was cozy and the temperature was perfect when we walked in. Shower has the perfect pressure.

Before I left the next morning, my bill came out to be well over the advertised price.

However, A new front desk employee, Latoya, assured me they would make it right and made me feel at ease. She was amazing; super friendly and polite and she was right. She was able to correct the phone reservation mistake and made my day.

Great customer service. ! And even though I was there for s few hours i have to say i was really comfortable and the room had a microwave coffee maker which is always a plus plus for me. Thank s to your staff my visit was wonderful.

I'm not sure what these bad reviews are really about. Perhaps they're miserable people? I had a wonderful stay here made all that more special by Miranda who was at the front desk when I checked in and when I woke up in the morning. Every time I saw her which wasn't many times, she was always very busy and working hard. Give that girl a raise

I have stayed at this motel for years and never had the experience that some of these people SAY they have had. I wonder sometime what their real agenda is. Great location, clean comfortable room, nice breakfast ( your not eating at Denny's folks) secure parking and pleasant helpful staff. what the hell more do you want for $55 ! I really do think, as bad as some reviews claim to be they are planted, I really do. I will be back.

This hotel is lovely, i slept great. My room was clean top to bottom. I love the lobby, and eating breakfast there was satisfying. The front desk clerks were quick with check in, and gave directions very clear,..and was patient with me ,where some would have been impatient. Keep up those great smiles btw

Jay and Stephanie are absolutely amazing! If I have any issues they fix it within minutes of me telling them. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are phenomenal, it's by no means the Marriot but it is absolutely great for the price. I feel safe and comfortable staying here, they are pet friendly which is great because I don't go anywhere without my four legged child. I will stay here each and every time I need a vacation from the real world!

My MC and I had the best time and stay here! The staff was amazing and full of energy. They had us laughing and made our stay one of the best. What ever we needed they were there. Check out was smooth and easy. One of the best stays ever! We will certainly be back!!!!!!!!

I was here for race weekend and everyone was so friendly! The room was a bit small but it was clean and expedia booked the room as smoking instead of non smoking and the manager had no problem fixing it for us! Breakfast was great!! So i booked for September's race!

I planned a vacation for a wedding I was attending in Richmond. I decided to choose a different hotel based on the reviews. I later found out that the hotel I chose was in a bad neighborhood and since I had an infant traveling with me I knew that hotel would not work. I was really disappointed that the reviews were so misleading, so I wanted to post a review for the hotel I switched to. Microtel was a great place to stay. It was in a nice area near the airport and had great access to everything we needed. The hotel itself was no five-star hotel, but it was what I expected for the price we paid and was clean. The staff was GREAT. They were very helpful with everything including suggestions for things that we could do in the area. I am very satisfied with the experience we had and very thankful that we chose to stay at this hotel.

Rooms have been updated since I last visited. Room and bathroom were clean.

Best economic hotel in Richmond thought the prices were high at first until I receive 5 star service from all front desk staff and housekeepers. Upon checking in there was some confusion they cleared everything up for me imidiately and helped me check in very quickly, I needed a comfy suite for my kids and I they let me check the room out first and I loved it they were very nice with the kids and let us check in early with no extra charge!! The housekeepers were MORE than helpful with my requests for extra towels and pillows for my children! I didn't know they had free wifi and FREE BREAKFAST! They made me feel very welcome. We will be back soon!!
