There is nothing more beautiful than being out in nature and the Bluffs is really really perfect. With different levels of stairs for you to climb and look over the Bay, it's tranquil and peaceful. And then all of a sudden here comes the train right along the waters edge. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it with your family, guaranteed to keep the kids entertained and wear them out!

Really neat spot just off the road. Just have to walk down the Boardwalk, (definitely needs to be fixed in spots so be careful) walk down by the water and just a nice place to walk around and pick up seashells & different rocks. You do walk over some railroad tracks that are still being used so be careful.

Great place to take a hike down a scenic boardwalk to a pretty empty beach. Nice trees and the sounds of nature all the way down. Access to the beach is just a 0.2mi walk from the south entrance. Cross the train tracks and you will be there. Bring a trash bag and grab some of the trash that’s washed up on the shore if you would like.

The location is beautiful, but make sure you don't visit at night. I came out to walk some trails and take photos of nature, but ended up getting more than I bargained for. Would not recommend visiting here alone. If you do visit alone, you should bring pepper spray with you to be safe.

Saw several tents of homeless people in the wooded area. Also ran into some shady individuals while on the trails. Beautiful location, but treat with caution if you're alone.

Check out some of the photos I was able to capture while visiting.

We always have a great time here. Just wish the graffiti wasn't so vulgar for my kids that don't get exposed to that at home so its hard to shelter eyes on the entire hike but we still love outdoors and always enjoy this hike! The owls were from 2020 but super cool to see such awesome moments together!

Great beach access park they did an awesome job of building a huge boardwalk. Please keep it nice and do not spray paint all over it find something more intelligent to do. There's also a great workout station with pull up bar, sit up bench, and balance beam. Blackberry plants growing everywhere here, the thorny vines with the white-light pink flowers.

Nice family activity! The walk is not too difficult and there is a lot to look at. Unfortunately, some people feel the need to write all over the boardwalk's railings, but it is still a beautiful walk. The walk is fairly kid friendly, but NOT stroller friendly due to the stairs and narrow boardwalk. The beach is hard to get to though because you have to leave the boardwalk.

So many stairs and the views were so good. Loved walking on the beach collecting shells and rocks. The sand is white and soft under my feet. The water was like a dream, clear and cool and the surf was soft with a quiet sound. Plenty of places to have a fire on the beach, even have several private fire pits with benches to cuddle up on. You hear and see a train every now and then if you are lucky. Plan to spend the day under the warm sun and let the sun kiss your skin untill your tan is all you want it to be. Let the beach take away your troubles for the day. The only thing I did not like was the ugly graffiti written along the boardwalk by children with foul mouth. My day was the best.

I absolutely love it! The view is beautiful and so serene. It's quiet and lonely. There are others on the trail, but not enough to get in the way or make it uncomfortable. It's not for running, the pier is too soft for that unless your shoes are highly treaded. Still, there are a lot of steps and turns. It will still give you a great workout it that's what you're looking for, even if you just walk!

Beautiful place and we had a wonderful day. Would be great to have some repairs done to the stairs and walking platforms. The chains and signage do nothing to keep people out, so might as well repair them

Local. Multigenerational.
To everyone complaining about the homeless: shame on you.
Gentrification of Pensacola is something you took part in, and you reap what you sow.

I've never had any issues with the graffiti, homeless, or the like down here. No one from here is expecting this once clear-cut railroad property to be a shiny penny. It never has been.
All I can say is, if you don't like it, don't go. Maybe, go home?

Absolutely splendid nature preserve/trail with lots of trees, and a path that leads down to Pensacola Bay beach, where there is an active railroad track. It loops around which makes it great for a workout. Be aware that there are quite of a few stairs, so excellent for cardio!

Although it leads to the water there isn't true access (no stairs) to the water without getting creative.

A magnificent spot to take a moment to be present in the moment and appreciate the little things.💕

This was a lovely hiking trail. The trail was great for walking and the view of woods and shoreline was great. They have such good, clean and safe wooden boardwalk so you can enjoy the park.

Hidden gem of a park, the boardwalk leading to the bottom of the bay where there is some railroad tracks and a quiet beach. If going ar evening be sure to take care as there is some holes in the planks and take a flash light.

The park has a.5 mile trail with many up and down stair sections. At the 1/2 way mark there is easy access to a clean sandy beach.

Quiet beach that is great for a peaceful walk. Short wood path leading down bluff. Carefully cross railroad tracks and your there. No bathrooms so go before you show.

The Pensacola Bay Bluffs Park & Nature Preserve features red clay Bay Bluffs that are a unique geological feature in Florida. The bluffs represent the highest point along the entire coastline of Florida! Local insider tip: after you hike the boardwalk, get off and go hike the nature trails to get up close to the bluff cliffs.

The place has been there most of my life this last time I went though there's quite a bit of graffiti all over the place all over the walkways they need to get some cruise down there to paint them they probably do but the kids probably just do the graffiti again right away I guess that's the times we're living in now a lot more people here in Pensacola than what used to be especially in these last few years strange how many more people just miraculously showed up in these last few years anyway I'm sure most of y'all know what that's from but the park is such a nice place to go to so beautiful and it is plenty of exercise my sweet wife got her daily exercise that day for sure she's had procedures done on her knees so it's not easy for so I'm very proud of it she got out there and climbed all the way to the bottom and then all the way back up top Check it out you'll like it also check us out (Eternal Escapades) on YouTube 😎👍🏼👑💯

Nice walking trail. Will be really nice after they finish working on it. One spot had a loose step, but not bad.

So many steps but it’s a great workout!! Then you get to the beach which was nice but right now the water is brown. There weren’t a lot of people today, which was nice!!!
