Somerset Academy Riverside

I’ve been a First Grade teacher at Somerset Riverside for a year and a half- amazing administration and families. Everyone has so much school spirit and the students have a great support system.

I’m looking forward to my son starting 6th grade here the upcoming school year, 21-22. The registration process was user friendly. The staff so far has been nothing but nice, helpful and professional.

I favor the structure of charter schools and was sceptical about changing my children's school because they were already attending a great public school. Being a believer of continuity, Somerset Academy Riverside provides that for my children. At SAR, my kids will be able to attend until 8th grade, a huge benefit for us. I have kids attending SAR at the same grade and at very different learning levels which was no obstacle for Somerset Academy Riverside. There are ample activities both during and after school which makes the school appealing to the kids. Staff and faculty are friendly and always smiling.

The teachers are phenomenal! They are always giving their student chances to get a better grade. Nothing is ever final unless there is no time available.

When Covid-19 entered our lives in 2020, the curriculum continued, with challenges, but no failures. They provided the best alternative without my children missing out and while I was hearing horror stories from parents at other schools. Parent involvement is necessary and required for student success.

For me, It was the best decision I made for my children to attend Somerset Academy Riverside. My only hope is that it will extend through 12th grade.

This school is great. The staff and teachers are extremely nice. I come here with my brothers and we enjoy and have a good time at this school. IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO HAVE A GOOD TIME IN SCHOOL, COME HERE NOWWWWW!!!!!

My brother Ezekiel goes here and he claims its amazing!!1 The teachers are amazing and teach you in excellence the front office is amazing YOU SHOULD SEND YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO EXCEL ACADEMICALLY

Love the school but why is there no picture for the school? There was one now there some kid on here representing the school with a kool aid smile
