Visit went well for a very nervous patient. Dr Callahan was very personable and knowledgeable plus explained all very well. Hygienist Jamie did an excellent cleaning and flossing job done on my challenging tight teeth. She was congenial and pleasant and it helped to calm my anxiety down. Front desk gals were welcoming too. Best to pay by check as discount 5% less is by credit card. Thankful to all! Recommend Bayou Dental.

I had to find a new dentist office due to my other one no longer being in network with our insurance. Please keep on mind I was with my other dentist for over 25 years. The front office staff were very welcoming and nice. Lisa, my dental hygienist did an excellent job on my teeth xrays and cleaning. Dr. Smith was very pleasant and personable. He did a thorough look throughout my mouth and gave me some much needed flossing tips. I can't wait to come back in 6 months and a lifetime after that. Thank you Bayou Dental! 😊

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say a big thank you! Today's visit to Dr. Callahan was nothing short of amazing. I practically walked out of there with a brand new tooth replacing the sad remnants of my old one, destroyed by cavities. The work done by the doc and his team was top-notch, and I must say, they're true artists!

And let's talk about the price – totally reasonable, and to top it off, I even got a sweet discount at the end. That's a big deal for me right now.

This marks the fourth time Dr. Callahan has wowed me and my wife with his work. Massive shoutout to Dr. Callahan and his fantastic crew!

My experience at Bayou Dental was amazing! Dr. Smith removed my wisdom teeth and I didn’t even feel it. It was the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff were great as well!

I highly recommend this business! I am new to the area and needed to find a new local dentist. I came across their site and loved the reviews. The staff is super nice and great with communication. The doctor is very nice and you can tell he is well established and great at what he does. My experience was amazing and I am so glad to have found them!

Wonderful staff from the time I walked through the door !!!! They spoke as soon as I walked in and had big smiles on their face. I called on Monday to schedule a new patient urgent appointment and was seen on Wednesday everyone else I called were booked out til at least a month or two. So glad they were able to get me in and seen. I don’t even think I was in there longer than 25 mins. Definitely will be making this my new dental home.

I’ve seen multiple providers at this office and would recommend any one of them to any patients. The office staff is pleasant, schedule me expeditiously, and always greet me with a smile. The dental hygienists are always thorough, gentle, and informative. The providers are kind, knowledgeable, and communicate wonderfully. The only way I’d see another dentist is if I moved to another state! Thank you, Bayou Dental!

I had to get a front tooth removed and the doctor was great he talks to you so you know exactly what's going on the whole time very calmly so if somebody has had bad experiences with dentists he uses a very calming voice . She gave me the Novocaine up in my mouth and around my tooth he put a cream on it first and I literally did not even feel him giving me the Novocaine. Also I have never been in and out of a dentist office so quick I was a new patient and even with filling out the paperwork I really don't think I was in there more than 30 minutes x-rays to removed the whole thing.

Dr. Callahan performed my wisdom teeth extraction and was absolutely amazing! He was very kind and thorough through out the procedure. He made me feel super comfortable since I was tremendously nervous. I will recommend all of my friends and family to go see him!

Dr. Smith is amazing! His entire staff is very nice and professional. I found my dude for all my dental needs.

Dr. Steve Smith is the 5th dentist I’ve been to in my lifetime, and by far and away he’s the very best dentist I’ve had the pleasure of being cared for!
He carefully explained the procedure, post op care, what to expect, what to eat, and OTC meds for post op pain.
The process was completely painless and the staff were friendly and helpful!
I highly recommend Dr. Smith!

I’ve been going to this dentist for a year now and here is my review. I came in in January for a cleaning on a Monday, that Monday I was told my tooth that they had been told me to get taken care of(I didn’t listen) was worse than ever. They immediately got me in that Wednesday for an extraction. Dr.Smith removed my tooth it only took about 40 minutes. I returned the next day due to being in so much pain and they immediately got me into the office. Once I arrived of course I was greeted by the nice lady I forgot her name lol up front who is always professional.The dental assistant came and got me asap. Dr. Smith listened to my complaints and instantly did a 3D scan and gave me the proper medication to deal with the aftermath. Here it is now Friday and I feel a millionnnnn times better. This was the most professional experience I have ever experienced in any type of health care setting. So if you are scared of the dentist or just new to the area , don’t walk, RUN to bayou dental.

The best dentist office in Pensacola, staff was exceptional called me back for a quicker appt. The assistant was very thorough. Dr Callahan was very nice explained everything very easily. Best Dentist Office in town.

Very professional and courteous staff. Dr. Callahan was excellent. He listened to me and evaluated my problem thoroughly. He explained what he was going to do and was very gentle. Would recommend him to anyone needing dental care.

It was so easy scheduling an appointment as a new customer, their customer service = kind, intelligent and very informative. The day of my appointment the Dentist made me feel right at home as he went through the procedure.

I’ve been going to Bayou Dental now for a year. They have been so wonderful with my dental care. I had avoided the dentist for some years due to Covid and anxiety due to missed visits. Jamie has been my hygienist from the beginning and is gentle and patient. She always gives me such good feedback on my hygiene and progress and I always feel comfortable in her care. Dr Smith has given me great education on my mouth and how the health of my teeth are - overall would highly recommend coming here for your needs. I’ve learned more about my mouth than any other office.

Dr. Callahan is knowledgeable, talented, and so caring. He has handled every crazy tooth/mouth problem we’ve brought to him.(me, my husband, and mother in law) There’s no one I trust more for advice and care of my teeth.

My insurance doesn’t allow him to be my regular dentist but we go whenever we have a special need bc we trust in his expertise and care that much.

Kind, courteous, and considerate!! They did a fantastic job with both me and my husband who doesn't exactly love dentistry lol (he's autistic w a severe dental phobia)

Posting for spouse, Ed. Transferred my dental problems to Dr. Callahan today, which was a very smart decision. Probably the best dental visit I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many in my military career. Extremely progressional and friendly staff. Dr. Callahan saw the problems right away, gave me options and we scheduled the fixes. I was very happy to have found them, and paid a bill that was very reasonable that made my wife smile. 🇺🇸

Call at 8 am this morning and got right in at 930.. Very nice staff and amazing. Got my tooth extracted and was in an out in no time, also he talked to me the whole way thru the extraction.. definitely will go back
