Pensacola Aviation Discovery Park

Ok this is close to my heart. As someone who loves aviation and a aspiring pilot. This is a very special place for our future aviators. It's basically a kids park with a small runway and a tower for the kids to play on. There are benches and a picnic area for the family and the kicker. You have full view of the active runway which is KPNS or Pensacola airport. It's a great spot for lunch of you love watching airplanes takeoff and land. Its also a great spot to collect your thoughts and well just relax. And at night the light show is a maze which only a few know. This is what I like to call Penscola sweet spot for looking at the stars. Enjoy!

This is a neat little fenced in park that has an observation deck to view all the planes landing and taking off from the Pensacola Airport. It has a small playing area for kids as well as benches & many picnic tables (2 under a large shaded area).

Awesome must experience take the kids or come by for lunch would also recommend for elders or handicap

All facing towards a series of run ways and landing strips used by commercial airline, jets and small engine planes we came through at about 6 on a Sunday and the plane traffic was pretty impressive we saw multiple different types planes it was exciting even for me. Definitely will be back often.

Great place to view planes landing and taking off. Love the tower that they have and the fact that a lot of the props are pretty quiet. Park has a lot of space and it makes it perfect for kids that need to run around. There is a little bit of a flooding issue but all in all, great place to go to.

Really cool to bring my daughter! She loves looking up at the planes amazed! Really cool to bring some takeout and watch planes with the family, sort of like a picnic. Unsure about if dogs are allowed (so I bring mine anyways and haven't been asked to leave yet).

Neat little park to go have lunch in the shade and watch the planes takeoff. Would be nice if the little play airplanes were covered so they don’t get so hot… My son enjoys going here.

A quiet, peaceful place to watch the planes land and take off if you need some space to work out some thoughts. Also seems to be a nice area to have lunch and chill with your kids. I love coming here 😊

Our family enjoyed the chance to be right beside the Pensacola airport runway and watch several planes take off and land. The raised platform gives a super view.

We enjoyed this park. Great place to let kids see airplanes take off and land. Lots of benches to sit on and a tower to walk up to view the runway better.

So close to the runway. Great for people who want to simply planewatch. If you're a photographer, it will become Frontlit. Obviously the sun will be in different places in different seasons and months. If the runway becomes too poorly lit, I'd recommend the parking garage.

Awesome experience, great for the family and for the kiddos to get closure exposure to aviation. Highly recommend!

Clean nice park where you can take your kids to see airplanes land and takeoff

Nice place is you like planes and the noise of planes perk up the adrenalines. Only if one worked in aviation could understand. My husband proposed to me at this location
