Graduated the RN program 9/18/23 and was able to Pass my NCLEX on 9/22/23. I really enjoyed my experience at ICHS. I learned that anyone can be a Registered Nurse with hard work and determination.
Update: RN license transferred to my own state 10/4/23

Pros: schedule own clinical days, all homework and classwork is done online, great staff, workload is manageable, meeting peers, clinical location makes it feel like you are on vacation

Cons: clinicals have to be done in Florida, expensive to travel to Florida, hard to get time off of work to do clinicals, you have to teach yourself the material

ICHS is legitimate, all the main tests are HESI based and give a good general idea of how you will do on the NCLEX.

I am satisfy with the skill, knowledge and competency achieved in ICHS. Most of the professors and clinical staff are very knowledgeable and are great in impacting their knowledge to the students. However, I will give the administrative aspect a fair report. When changes are made in the program the administration do not give ample time for adjustment to the changes. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity that the school gave me.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for my experience at International College of Health Sciences. Pursuing a nursing education has always been a challenging endeavor, and ICHS has truly stood out in terms of its dedication to communication, curriculum, and skill development.

One of the standout aspects of ICHS is their impeccable communication. In the world of online education, effective communication is paramount, and ICHS excelled in this regard. They consistently kept us informed through well-structured emails, emphasizing the importance of staying engaged with the materials provided. This commitment to communication set a strong foundation for our learning journey, particularly in the context of an online learning environment, which often demands proactive engagement.

The curriculum at ICHS was undoubtedly demanding, but it was precisely this rigor that allowed me to grow as a nursing professional. The program required a high degree of self-motivation and discipline, as everything was self-learned and taught. While challenging, this approach ultimately helped me develop invaluable self-directed learning skills, which I continue to draw upon in my nursing career.

Learning the practical skills required for nursing was another significant hurdle in the journey. However, ICHS provided a comprehensive framework for hands-on learning, which proved instrumental in building my competence. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application equipped me with the confidence and ability to excel in a hospital setting.

As I reflect on my journey, I am thrilled to say that ICHS played a pivotal role in my success. Having passed my NCLEX and embarked on a fulfilling nursing career, I can confidently attribute much of my readiness to the excellent education I received at ICHS. ICHS not only equipped me with the necessary knowledge but also instilled in me the critical thinking skills required to excel in high-pressure situations.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to ICHS for their unwavering support and commitment to my nursing education. The challenges were indeed formidable, but they served as the crucible in which my skills and determination were forged. ICHS has set me on a path to success in the healthcare field, and I am proud to utilize my knowledge and skills to meet the demands of my profession.

Thank you, ICHS, for being the cornerstone of my nursing journey and for preparing me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.

The school was difficult. I received my ADN , passed my NCLEX on the first try. Then received my BSN. Studied very hard traveling back and forth between states while working full time along with having to take care of family. I finished my masters, and will pass my FNP. (Edit: Passed 👍)
Work hard , don’t make excuses, if you falter get back up again and again until you succeed. Thank you ICHS.

I am a recent graduate of the Echocardiography (ultrasound) program. The school is mainly a nursing school and the ultrasound program is very small. My five stars is for the head of the ultrasound program, Professor Carlos Zamora. He is passionate about what he teaches, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his students. He will help you pass your board exams by conducting extensive reviews. He truly goes above and beyond for his students.

I made the best decision going to ICHS for their nursing program. The professors are wonderful, the staff is so helpful and everyone at the school wants to see you succeed. They offer a great program. It worked well with my work schedule. It is a hard program, and you have to be dedicated and study! I definitely recommend this school.

Currently enrolled, the Instructors I have experienced so far who have been helpful with helping me achieve nursing knowledge and advancing in my degree are responsive even with the amount of students they have to take on. The convenience factor is huge for the full time working person with the online availability ICHS offers. The school is tough but it’s geared towards creating well rounded individuals with the safety and skills needed to be great Nurses.

It's an amazing school for hardworking people. Saw people leave to go to shady schools in 2020 coz they were not given extra points to pass exams. Some things are not perfect. Been an RN in California since 2020 and now in the icu. Works hard, you need self directed motivation coz you will be studying by yourself most of the times. But if you know what you want, you will see it through.

Overall I’m very happy I attended ICHS. Graduated with a 3.78 and passed the nclex 5 days after graduating. Requires a great deal of time and dedication and I had to work less to accommodate the academic and clinical workload.

International College of Health Sciences

I am an international College of Health Sciences (ICHS) student and when I entered the program, I was extremely nervous about performing up to standards in nursing school. Although I am now
more confident, I still have occasional bouts of nervous anxiety in my desire and pursuit to understand all material, perform well and prove
that I am capable of being a competent nurse. In my academic experience at ICHS are the many good instructors in the program who provide much needed guidance. I especially appreciate my new
instructor Professor Barry Hassler and her very effective instruction methods. She is very knowledgeable, intelligent, has great
communication and instructs with a relatable sense of humor. Her lectures are thorough, instructive, and clear in medical importance. As nursing students, we all struggle with the demands of completing
assignments and performing well. Professor Hassler’s method of instruction has allowed a calmness while helping student understanding of medical concepts. I appreciate the many good
instructors at ICHS but Professor Hassler has changed my life and student experience to become a better nursing student, and on my way to becoming a health care professional.

Dr Ober the president is taking this school in the right direction.. none the less I am happy I am going to ICHS, I will be continuing to the BSN program they offer as well. They do offer a MSN program as well but I have to finish this program first hah!! Would love to go on and on but another few teachers that I have liked in this program Dylan, Danielle, and Chelsea!!! the heart of the school also Ms Barre, Ms Lma, Ms Prudent, Mr Toribio Matamoros!!, Malia Hoosien, Kate Myers, Tammy Baker, Erin Blake, (sorry if I messed up yallzez names or initials) have been helpful as well as real humans that create solutions and not problems.. I would love to go on and on about these individuals but my keyboard is tired. Hope this long thing helps someone decided if this program is for them and if its not that ok too. I will make another Review when I am done with the program as well!! (full review on Yelp, with some pictures)

I am a 46 year old LVN/LPN for 14 years. I am married and a mother of 2. I work full time and this program allowed me the flexibility of on-line hybrid learning. It wasn't easy but it was definitely worth the struggle. ICHS is the first on-line program I came across that was structured like classroom learning. You have assignments, testing, quizzes, and due dates and you are held accountable for your work. There is traveling involved if you live out of state when it comes to clinical rotations and residency week but the trip and experience is so unique, you won't regret it. I got to meet other students and we compared struggles, created study groups, compared test taking strategies, and made a few new friends. The clinical instructors are firm but fair and they provide education needed to be successful. The school doesn't just hand you a degree because you paid your tuition, they make sure that you earn it. When you pass the final exit exam, you feel the sense of accomplishment. There were times when my nerves were pushed to the limit, but there was always that one instructor, student navigator, or fellow classmate that kept me grounded with positive encouragement. You can expect challenges and a few hiccups along the way but that would be with any program. Seeing my ADN degree at my age after so many years of procrastinating has been one of the most rewarding experiences in life. I am grateful to everyone at ICHS, my family for their support, and my job for ther flexibility. I am truly a better nurse after attending ICHS. Plan your time, study, utilize your resources, and if faced with an obstacle.....
Communicate your needs so that someone can reach out to you to help you be successful

The main reason why people complain about ICHS is due to how difficult it is to cheat or pass exams. That School is damned hard, I agree cos I finished from that College . It’s an accelerated course so don’t expect to be taught like you are in a regular College. It’s going to be difficult to cope with the fast pace of learning if you have no prior medical/ health experience, so save your money and go to a regular College that will teach you at a slower pace.

Very wonderful experience in my programs here at ICHS. Challenging but well worth it from AADN to BSN and soon Master's. 😊 And also all of my BSN instructors are freaking AWESOME!!! I couldn't ask for any better than those that taught the BSN ...

My two favorite Professors were Dr. Palmer and Professor Zakak. They were both stern, but fair and cared very much for their students. They took the time to make sure all needs were met.

Thank you Professor Barre for an amazing day of knowledge, skill, and understanding. It was an absolute please to have you as an instructor and motivator. Your passion and energy meant everything for me. I wish more profeessors used your style of teaching and understanding. You are a light in the dark. You made my day stress free and I could learn more.
Also, thanks to Dr. Ober. you are very helpful and always respond back to your students.

Tons of people from California and Washington State in this program. This program is for the single mom, for the motivated student sick of waiting to get into a program with a long wait list- this program is for the student not willing to go drastically into debt for their education. This program will work for you if you are highly motivated and independent. Instructors are practical and very well educated. The owner of the school is down to earth and personable. I highly recommend it. (No I don’t get paid from the school or get anything from them for this review-)

It’s worth the hassle! I’m almost crossing the finish line and I’m super excited to obtain my nursing degree! The school is not perfect but it was just the right fit for my life. I wouldn’t change my decision even if I had another chance.
