Last year I wasn’t sure where to start when my home needed to have the entire roof replaced due to age. My insurance company surprised me with a deadline to replace the roof or be dropped from coverage. Although my project had a limited timeframe because of the situation, I still wanted to find the right company for the job. I initially solicited for replacement bids from three local roofing companies, to my surprise the bids were all over the board ranging from very high cost, to more responsible but using lower grade materials.

After I discussed my situation with a friend, they recommend I contact Ron Bell Roofing for a fourth bid. As you might imagine, this was the bid I selected. Ron Bell was able to bid my roof replacement using the highest quality materials, while keeping the costs in line with my lowest bid. For that reason alone, I would recommend them to others, but a job is still about more than product and price. I’m also happy to report that my experience working with Ron Bell Roofing and their staff was excellent and always very professional. Joe Manick (GM) kept in continuous communication with me about the status of my roof project from county permitting all the way through to work completion.

TLDR: Great price, great people, highly recommend

In 2007 after a major storm my roof was contracted for major repair by Andrews Roofing, at a cost of $26000. My contract stated they were to have completely stripped my old roof off and apply a total new roof. Unfortunately Andrew's Roofing repairs was not up to standards, which was confirmed by a roof engineering company. $26000. and 5 yrs later my house had 8 leaks. I called Andrew's Roofing and informed them, but they would not even come out to fix the problem. After making a call to Ron Bell, they immediately came out and found that all the flashing around my house was rotted and had been covered with a paint to appear it was replaced. They quickly replaced the entire flashing before the rain came with several workers.I wasn't able to pay for the entire repair and Ron was very understandable and let me work out a payment plan. I highly recommend Ron Bell and have referred his services to anyone that wants a "top notch" repair.

This is the 2nd roof Ron Bell has done for me. The first one lasted well over 20 years with no issues, so it was a no-brainer for me when it was time to replace it. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with. They use great materials, have many years of experience and do it all for a fair price. Would highly recommend!

Office staff is helpful and polite. Ron helped us obtain a new roof after having a few leaks and we are very happy with the process from start to finish. The roof looks great and we are no longer worried about the rainy season. Thanks!

I have used twice for two roof leaks on a flat roof (one indoor and one outdoor). Both times they came out and fixed the roof at 15-30% less than other quoted companies. In one case they fixed a larger patch than originally planned and did not charge. After two years, still no leaks.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Ron Bell Roofing, as it has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite my initial expectations, I regret to inform you that their services have proven to be subpar, and I strongly advise against hiring them for any project. In this review, I will outline the issues I encountered, including their failure to honor warranties and their overall poor work quality.

Over the past two months, I have made approximately 10 phone calls and sent numerous emails to Ron Bell Roofing, all in an attempt to address my concerns and seek resolution for their poor workmanship. However, instead of receiving prompt assistance, I found myself caught in a web of inefficiency and miscommunication. Each time I reached out, I was given the runaround, with no clear answers or concrete solutions provided.

One of the most glaring issues I faced was their refusal to honor their warranty. However, when I attempted to avail myself of this warranty for a problem that arose within the warranty as written, I was met with constant excuses and avoidance. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to rectify their mistakes left me feeling frustrated.

Furthermore, the quality of their work was far from satisfactory. The final result displayed a lack of attention to detail, and the craftsmanship was substandard. The work was rushed, leading to shoddy finishes and a general lack of professionalism. It became evident that they prioritized quantity over quality, which is simply unacceptable when it comes to delivering services that customers rely on.

In light of these experiences, I strongly advise anyone considering hiring Ron Bell Roofing to reconsider. The lack of transparency, failure to honor warranties, and substandard work quality are clear indicators of their unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking out a more reputable and reliable service provider that truly values their customers.

BEWARE! This company installed an Impact window and then ghosted me when I asked for the paperwork to confirm it's an impact window. They told me for three months that they were waiting for a report from the manufacturer. I am now taking them to small claims. Negative 100 stars!

Hired Ron Bell roofing to install a new roof. After 8 months the roof started to leak into my front bedroom where my 88 year old mother stays. After Ron Bell found the leak they would not answer the phone or emails for 3 weeks. Of course the problem was getting worse. Allison from Ron Bell told me (when I called from another phone ) They were short handed and she on vacation for a week because she deserved it. All the while letting my house flood everyday because we are in rainy season. Now we have a bedroom that the wall , carpet and ceiling needs replacing. I now have mold growing in the attic. I have my 88 year old mother living in the house. I kept her alive thru this whole pandemic ,only to have Ron Bell roofing knowingly endanger her life with knowing there is a leak and leaving the it for 3 weeks. I was told by Allison that the mold and all the damage in the house is not their responsibility. ( even if the leak was cause by them) If Ron Bell roofing would have fixed the problem right away instead waiting 3 weeks I would not have dangerous black mold problem in my house. Allison laughed and said it's not their problem, good luck with that.

We are a sandblasting company based in Boynton Beach. We were contacted by one of Ron Bells supervisors stating that he had an urgent situation where a large amount of roofing glue (approx.150sqft) was spilled by his workers in a homeowners driveway, had dried and that he was not going to get payment for the roof from the homeowner until the driveway was cleaned. Ron's employee advised me that the glue had been down for several days in the summer sun. I conveyed to the employee that we specialize in this gentle application where not to damage the concrete but would remove the glue itself and a light stain would either remain as a shadow for the sun to degrade or we could dig into the cement to remove all of the shadow.
The day of the job no one from Ron bell was on site nore the homeowner. We removed the glue telling homeowner by phone that a light shadow remained, that we would come back the next day to continue if he felt it was OK to degrade the cement to remove the shadow.
The next morning we arrived on site, the homeowner was sitting in the driveway with a can of oven cleaner, a wire brush and some household chemicals scrubbing the driveway. The homeowner was upset with the whole ball of wax and was telling my employees he was not paying for his roof. After the homeowner applied chemical to the driveway we left do to liability of damage that we could not be responsible for.
At this point I called Ron Bell roofing and was told by the receptionist he was on the phone. After 3 days of trying to contact Ron I was told by his employees that he is impossible to get ahold of and will always "be on the phone".
I personally stopped into his Delray office on several occasions and was finally able to get ahold of him. Ron told me that the homeowner was refusing to pay him a dime and I could have 50% of the bill at the moment but he would contact me when he worked things out with the homeowner.
Well as you can imagine no call ever came and no check was mailed. I wanted to leave this review for people who are looking for an honest roofer because Ron Bell is not one. Not only did Ron Bell not return any of my calls, he even failed to let me know in any way what the resolution of the driveway was. For all I know Ron got paid and I'm here holding the bag. A pretty shoddy thing to do to a small business owner that is an owner/ operator trying to pay the bills, stay in business and make sure his guys paychecks don't bounce.

This company just doesn't seem to care tried to give them a sec chance and still multiple calls with no one returning them. Then sent a quote 5k more expensive than the competition and still no follow up to emails

These guys simply don't or are completely disorganized or are so overwhelmed they don't know what to do.... NOT GOOD
