Bark Park Dog Beach

Awesome beach for you and your pups! Current hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7-9am and 5pm-sunset (hours change based on season so call to double check)
Permit: you can buy a weekend pass for $15 at the Spanish river park gate
Parking: there is metered street parking across of the beach which is very affordable or inside park which is more expensive

Family and I love this beach. Use to be much cheaper to get into Spanish river park but we still enjoy coming here. Parking is plentiful and you can use a pavilion area or BBQ around the park. There is plenty to do in the park. Private walkways onto the beach from the park. you also have bathrooms and fresh water showers.
The pavilions are first come, first serve unless it's had been reserved by someone. We will definitely continue using this beach.

My dog looks forward to meeting his friends every Sunday late afternoon. Parking is $3/hr on street. The Rangers are extremely polite and never had any problems with other dogs! Very peaceful and relaxing place to be. It's by far the best place I'd taken my husky !

We had fun all dogs were friendly but if you're vacationing you have to purchase dog permits for the beach. Bring your pet paperwork. History of vaccinations.

Best way to start a weekend morning. Beach is clean, usually only friendly dogs, and the span of run able area is long (roughly 3-4 lifeguard towers)

How much better does it get???!!! To be able to allow your 4-legged best friend to frolic, splash, and play in wonderful warm waves and on a vast soft-sanded beach!

Either alone or with you by his/her side! Well numbered markers designate the dog beach boundaries. And the many times we went, the Rangers were nothing but friendly, helpful, and professional.

If you are in or going to be in that area you have to take your dog here. You won’t be disappointed!

What a beautiful beach to bring your four legged child and have a nice time! It requires a permit!

My small dog and all the other larger dogs always have a great time at this part of Spanish River Park, whether they actually go in the water or just run around on the sand. You do need to get the parking and dog passes in advance.

Absolutely one of the best activities to get some mental and physical energy out! It was beautiful day and all of the dogs were well behaved and running around swimming and having fun! People could walk the beach comfortably and everyone was attentive to their dogs.

I love this place. Lovely pups and people and a safe place to have your dog go without leash. Easy to park and there is water to wash your dog if you wish before you get into your car. Great atmosphere and it just makes me so happy to see all the dogs having such a great time on the beach.

The city rangers do an excellent job enforcing permitted dogs only and making sure owners clean up after their pet(s).

I am so happy that we have a this beautiful place that we can share with our puppy! The other dogs run around!!! It is kept clean as everyone does their part. It is my favorite place to go!!!

So great to see happy tails ! I work with dogs & would advise attaching a long lead so your dog can have freedom AND be safe❤ The beach section is still very clean. Im not sure if I saw poopie stations.

My happy place! Just the funnest place to bring my dog. 99% of the dogs are completely friendly and the people are pretty nice as well,,,,and it is gorgeous. One reason to live in Boca is the beach and this gets me to the beach every weekend. How great is that? I am always amazed when folks with dogs have not been here. It is the best.
