RACKS Fish House & Oyster Bar

Everything at Racks was amazing. We sat at the oyster bar and started with a delicious variety of fresh oysters from the north east coast. We also had the deviled eggs, and then moved to the mussels Rockefeller and the BBQ ribs, which were perfectly cooked with a wonderful fall-off-the-bone, off the hook sweet taste. Matt took care of us on this visit, and he made sure the service was top notch the whole night. I highly recommended the Racks in Delray Beach, Florida for an absolutely awesome dining experience.

We stopped in for happy hour and had a great experience. Service at the bar was top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our snacks from the happy hour menu. My party enjoyed oysters, shrimp deviled eggs and calamari. I would order all three items again. We were able to grab seats at the bar during happy hour and our service was very pleasant. Seemingly a less popular option for happy hour on the Ave, I would highly recommend this location to friends. I’m looking forward to returning and trying more items off the dinner menu.

First of all...thank you, Cory, for EXCELLENT service! Such a beautiful evening for streetside dining 50' from Delray Beach's bustling Atlantic Avenue. Love the prix fixe menu. Crazy fresh fish, beautifully prepared. We'll be back for the Millionaire Mac on a cheat day ! 🌴✌😎🌴

I come there for happy hour which has a really good menu to choose from . I usually drink Pinot Grigio but they don't have it so, I get Chardonnay which is no big deal, but the best thing about this place is the bartender Shawn he is right on point, very pleasant, great personality, people person, very helpful.

Chef Jeremy took great care of myself and my father. The food was incredible, the wait staff was superb, and the atmosphere was perfect to enjoy food on the strip during a busy Saturday night. We will absolutely be back soon!

We had an excellent dinner here! The Dragon Roll is a must have!! Along with the lobster roll. Our server, Cory was attentive and accommodating. Will definitely return!

Outstanding food, service and quality, a bit loud...only because of the vibrant atmosphere.
Had some awesome appetizers, beet salad, and tempura shrimp roll. For the main course, we had the daily special, 22 oz Ribeye and a whole grilled Bronzini, both cooked to perfection. Brussel Sprouts, Asparagus and potatoes for sides. Chef Jerome visited our table to see how we were enjoying his food. What a treat! I will be back again and again, and again.

First time at Racks and I can't wait to go back, It's fantastic! Our server was Ben, he took care of us through the night. He explained the day specials that weren't on the menu and answered all of our questions. A place were you can enjoy great food and not feel rushed. The food choices are varied and exquisite. I'd a blast and I want a repeat. It's a pretty pricey restaurant but the food is worth it. Everything tasted wonderful and fresh. The service was excellent considering that the place was packed and super busy. Try it... you're going to love it.

AMAZING Happy hour!! Our new favorite spot! Been here for 14 years and can’t believe I’ve never been. The sushi rolls and Shrimp were FAB!! Portions huge. Manager Jamie was so attentive and helpful. Bartender Alissa was adorable, fast and patient!!

Went for dinner on a weekend and we were delightfully surprised - it wasn’t nearly as busy as we thought it would be. Got in and out pretty quickly, service was decent and the food was pretty good. We got the lobster rolls and had the millionaire Mac n cheese appetizer. I’m not a big fan of truffle, but it was light enough on the Mac that I really enjoyed it. Nice spot for a no-fuss meal

Food is delicious! Went during happy hour between 4-7pm tons of apps and sushi half priced and drinks half priced as well, which is good because this place is pricey $$$. Wait staff practiced covid-19 protocols, however there wasn't distanced seating in place, majority of the tables were filled but doors and windows open and plenty of outside seating. Anthony was our waiter and he was wonderful, he recommended the sushi and it was super fresh! Would definitely recommend and would love to go back soon... during happy hour of course.

We stumbled upon this amazing place on our first night in Del Ray, The waiter shared a lobster roll special and we were hooked! What arrived at the table was a work of art! We decided that we'd split the it and order some other small plates- delicious crab and shrimp Mac and fish tacos. Food was amazing. Service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed (they have very comfy patio seating).

This was our first visit to Racks. It was recommended by a local resident that we happened to have a conversation with at another restaurant. Racks menu is full of wonderful choices. Our server (think her name was Ellie?) was helpful suggesting Blackened Grouper with chorizo & cilantro rice, black beans, plantains was outstanding, and the mussels with frites were yummy too! The portions were satisfying. Kudos to Racks and Ellie - I hope we your name correct!

Used to be the Best happy hour in Delray Beach. Bill is awesome behind the bar. However, things have gone downhill. For happy hour you get a cheeseburger with nothing else on the plate. I asked for medium and I got medium well. They can’t even spring for some chips. Even when you get the amazing salmon plate it has the potatoes and the sauce but they don’t bother adding on a few pieces of asparagus. Presentation really needs improvement And the prices are too high.

A few years ago we asked the lady at the tourist office for her favorite happy hour. She said the Oysters at Racks.
Well, it is my favorite DB Happy Hour. The Oysters are a treat. You can taste the difference $1, $2 or $3.

The truffle Parm fries are a must. We also enjoyed the blackened fish tacos although my buddy said he didn't taste the fish (you can get 4 instead of 3 per order).

We love mussels but would pass on these next time in favor of something else.

Then there's the drink specials...

There is a small private parking lot next door we've used before, it's now $10 so we used the Park Mobile app for the street parking $2.35 for the hour.. a city garage a few blocks is free until 4pm weekdays. Looked like $5 after that.

A great spot, friendly atmosphere and delicious food! Chili grits was amazing, I wanted to kiss the chef literally...the key lime pie is beyond...I ate every last drop of that pie! Look forward to my return trip, this will definitely be a stop!

The service was outstanding. Drinks were amazing. The food was delicious. Our waiter and the manager were very attentive and asked repeatedly if everything was to my liking. The lychee martini and the whole lobster sushi roll were to die for. I will be returning next time I'm in town.

WILD SEA!!! First timer with an excellent experience. All the staff was extremely friendly. Our service was great. Got sat right away with outdoor seating. Ordered the Bacon and Eggs ummm YESSS!!!! We actually ordered them twice. Yup twice! Also had the scallops for an appetizer. One fried octopus dinner, salmon ceviche. The dining experience and presentation of food was excellent. Looking forward to going back again.

I've never had seafood prepared so well. The Mahi Mahi was amazing and amazingly delicious (fantastic!) Everything at our table was fresh, tasty and visually appealing. The atmosphere is lively and the bar is well equipped. I've already added this restaurant to my "Revisit" list.

Our food and server David were phenomenal! And their happy hour specials are great.
