I love this vet office! Every single staff member has been nothing but perfection. I always feel their customer service goes above and beyond. Myself and my animals never dread coming here and I have always felt they treated my animals as if it was their own. Specifically, Natasha has broken the mold on what it means to work in a vets office. She has always been kind and conversational and I know I can trust her fully. Dr. Sosa feels thorough during examinations and have guided my family through medical procedures and I never felt he was in it for ulterior motives. Isaiah has always helped get my cats in when its an emergency and has helped guided me through my pet's needs. I really feel this vet office puts it clients needs into consideration and I cannot express enough thanks. We are moving almost 45 minutes away and I would still consider coming to this office due to the exemplary customer service. They have recently undergone an office transformation and I love the update! Their online pharmacy has been especially easy to navigate to coordinate my pet's specialty diet. Take this review and double it that is how highly I view this animal hospital.

I could not sing higher praises of Dr. Sosa and the entire Boca Palms team if I tried! They continue to offer personalized, professional, compassionate, and friendly service each and every visit. The nurses will get to know you and your fur-babies by name and make you feel like you are truly apart of their family. Communication between Dr. Sosa's team and our other vet office up north is always seamless and truly a joy. The communication is ON POINT! Thank you to the entire Boca Palms team for making my boys (and me) feel our best, always.

I was referred to Boca Palms from another exotic vet clinic because the vet was not in. Boca Palms staff were very friendly and caring, they gave me an appointment the same day for my sick bunny, Molly. I was surprised that they were waiting for Molly when we arrived and saw her right away. The staff and the doctor explained everything about her treatment and little by little Molly is improving.

Boca Palms Animal Hospital has been nothing but friendly, caring, and informative when it comes to my cat, Jake, who has several health issues, but is still going strong at 18 years old. I’m sure he would not still be here without Dr. Sosa’s care. Thank you all so much.

I was referred to Boca Palms by another exotic pet clinic since they were overbooked with patients. I called Boca Palms yesterday requesting an appointment for my pets (1dog and 2 hamsters) but mainly for one of my hamsters named Panda. I was worried for her because of her tiny bleeding she had on Saturday morning. The front staff were amazing and very kind. They scheduled me an appointment for this Friday. Later on the day after booking my appointment I get a call from the clinic again. They wanted me to come in the same day to see panda asap because they didn’t want me to wait until
Friday for panda to be seen in case it was something serious that needed to be done right away. The front staff communicated with the Vet about my concerns this is how and why I got the call back. This showed me how communicative the front staff and the nurse and doctor are.
When I arrived with my hamster the front staff gentleman was so polite and introduced himself to me and was very helpful. I’ve never ever taken a hamster to a vet before I didn’t even know it was possible but I am glad it is because these two hamsters for some odd reason mean the world to me just like my dog. Anyways, the nurse was so kind and gentle then the doctor came in to check Panda. He was well spoken, gentle, caring, and very thorougher with examining my hamster. He noticed a little skin rash on my hamster and wanted to treat her with antibiotics for the infection. He explained what it was and what should be done first before going further. The doctor is not pushy at all and wanted to take one step at a time in treating my hamster. The office visit fee plus the medication fee were very reasonable and affordable too. I was scared I had to pay some crazy fee for a tiny hamster.
Overall, I was very happy and pleased with my visit. Very clean clinic too.
No lie at first I was very nervous that they wouldn’t be gentle with my pet or that the price was going to be some crazy amount and that the doctor was just going to assume something and not really examine my pet but I was so wrong!
I will be returning tomorrow with my other hamster and dog.
I am not the kind to write reviews but I felt like this was needed for anyone else who is like me and checks reviews before and uncertain about the place.
So far from now on this will be my go to place for my hamsters and dog even if they are a bit far from me since I’m far west Boca.
I hope they never change and remain the same as yesterdays visit. It’s extremely hard to find caring staffs and vets for your pets like them!

Dr. Sosa and the team are amazing! Marcy, Annick, Natasha and Isaiah were so very helpful and made the experience perfect. The team check in each day to see how our dog Harvey was doing. We are grateful for you all!

I just wanted to add some additional detail. Harvey just had his TPLO surgery and it could not have gone better. From the moment we arrived, Isaiah quickly got us settled into a room. Our nurse, Annick, was first, providing us excellent detail on what to expect for the day, running us through the logistics and providing us detail on what Harvey's first few days would be like. Dr. Sosa then came in and provided more detail on the surgeon, the procedure, and assured us that the team would keep us posted on progress throughout the day.

We received a text and a phone call later in the day, letting us know the surgery had gone very, very well. Annick let us know that they like to keep the dog overnight as it can really help the dog recover and stay comfortable those first 24 hours. In the morning, she sent us a text message with a photo of Harvey, doing very well.

All through the day until we could pick him up, the Team stayed in touch with us. I cannot emphasize enough the incredible communication and number of updates we received. Best we have ever experienced!

We came in to pick up Harvey and Isaiah and Annick got us all settled and Dr. Sosa provided detail on what we should look for during the next few days and got us on the book for the follow-up appointment. Annick then provided us a step-by-step over the next few days, care, meds, strategies for bathrooming, etc.

Thus far, Harvey is doing great, I could not imagine better care than from Dr. Sosa and the entire Team. I would recommend Boca Palms to anyone/everyone. It's nice to see our boy recovering well and on the road back to mobility! Thanks again to you all for making us feel like part of the family - 10 star service!

I took my sick baby ferret to this hospital on Saturday. They gave me an appointment immediately. All the staff here are incredibly friendly and professional. The vet was so caring, amazing and knowledgeable about exotic pets and he immediately put me at ease. We came up with a plan to take care of my precious baby. I have never felt so comfortable with a vet/animal hospital before. Love these guys and will 100% bring my pets here again. Also their prices are very affordable.. My. Baby Cooper is already doing so much better. Thank you staff at palms animal hospital in boca raton. You guys were wonderful.

I called Boca Palms on Saturday, May 27th frantically searching for a vet for my beloved Choctaw who had suddenly become very ill. The doctor was on vacation for the holiday weekend, as was the case for every other office I had tried to call. The man who answered the phone, I wish I knew his name, was my angel that day. I have thought of him many times and said a prayer of thanks for him. He could hear me start crying on the phone—I didn’t know what to do for my baby boy—he was so sick and I didn’t know where to go. He assessed Choctaw over the phone, asking me all kind of questions to try and help find a solution and he led me to ACCESS animal hospital. He asked me to let him know how Choctaw did and he was so sweet…I’ll never forget his kindness in my weakest moment. Choctaw ended up having a huge splenic tumor. It was removed successful and he was expected to make a full recovery. However, 30 hours after surgery his acute pancreatitis became evident. I was able to stay at the hospital with him through the night while they did their best and then they helped me say goodbye to the very best friend of my life. I went through so much pain that weekend and continue to try and heal but in all the pain of loss, I know my baby boy was given the best intensive medical care and the team there knew I’d do anything for him and they helped me make all the impossibly hard decisions and I have full peace knowing I did everything and I did my best for my best friend. I wouldn’t have been given that peace if I hadn’t called this vet’s office and that man answered the phone and took the time to hear me starting to cry and taking the time to kindly talk me through everything and get Choctaw to the best place for him that day. I’ll forever be thankful. If Boca Palms could let me know this kind man’s name I’d like to write him a thank you card.

I love this place. they are so awesome and Marcy at the front desk is the best. Ozzie is very safe and sound and happy. Very helpful and got me in at the last minute!

I drive from Delray Beach to see Dr. Sosa and his amazing team. I have come to the practice since it was Dr. Jaffe and all I can say is that the Boca Palms Animal Hospital has always taken incredible care of my pets (cat and multiple generations of dogs). Going to a vet is expensive these days, so you want to be sure you are getting the best care possible. This is the place you can be sure that they will take the extra time and care your pet needs. Great staff, lovely people.

The attention to care and customer service from the whole staff is amazing. Their app is so convenient when scheduling and their team always calls with a reminder. My little fur baby loves going to see her favorite staff on her annual visits and they treat her like royalty. Can’t thank you enough Boca Palms Animal hospital and highly recommend.

Dr. Sosa is a wonderful veterinarian. I highly recommend Dr. Sosa to any furbaby owners. He has taken care of 4 of ours over the last 13 years. We've had lots of laughs and some tears together. He always takes plenty of time to ensure our babies are healthy and properly cared for even when he has many other patients that require his attention. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

Leaving south Florida for NC was a difficult move since we would be without Dr. Sosa and staff. They always gave our family's fur kids the best care and were always there when we needed them. ❤

We have been going to Dr. Sosa for almost 10 years now. He takes great care of all our pets and is always very honest and caring. We drive out from coconut creek to continue to bring our pets to his office.

Dr Sosa and staff literally saved my dog Daisy after she was attacked. They immediately saw her, got her into surgery and recommended follow up care. After going here, there is no other place where I would take my babies. My hamster seemed to be displaying signs of wet tail, and after calling them, they got me an appointment right away. In my frazzled state, the people there were so kind and attentive, and you could tell they really cared about me and my hamster. I noticed when I walked in that vet is a graduate from Cornell, so I knew I was going to get the best of care. The vet did a thorough job of checking her and running through different options. From the girl at the front desk to the nurse in the examination room to the vet, everyone was super comforting, professional, and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Dr. Sosa was amazing!! I’m extremely pleased with my experience. I’m also glad I took my baby Winter (hamster) to the right place, she was sick and lethargic, I was very concerned but now she’s back to her normal self thanks to Dr. Sosa and his team!! I love the fact that in this hospital they see all animals from dogs & cats to exotics since it is hard to find a great & caring hospital for exotics and I’m so HAPPY I found Boca Palms!!!
The location is convenient for me, their affordable and truly care for your pet! I love how they call to check on their patients to make sure they’re better/doing well!! To me that says A LOT!!! ❤
