Club Leaf & Bean

Club Leaf and Bean is my new favorite place to unwind on Longboat Key. I know I can always count on stimulating conversation with my fellow members, and other times, a quiet corner to relax and catch up on the day’s reading when that’s what I’m after.

It’s clean and well maintained, and the artwork and decor pay homage to Longboat’s distinguished history. You can tell the owners took a lot of pride in designing a superior experience that locals can be proud of.

Speaking of the owners, I want to take a second to shout out Mark, specifically. I visited CLB this past week and was looking for a new cigar recommendation. Mark was chatting with some other guests when I arrived but excused himself to help me. He asked questions about my cigar history and took time to understand my flavor profile. He made some observations even I didn't realize (I favor Nicaraguan wrappers… go figure) and pointed me toward a Padron that may be my new personal favorite.

This place is the best kept secret on the key. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean spot to relax and unwind with good people and great conversation.

Club has an amazing atmosphere where I was able to entertain my guests with a WOW experience. The club was extremely clean, private, and comfortable. I would highly recommend CLB LBK.
