I’ve seen Abby a couple times now and I have been thrilled with my hair results every time. I go for a lower maintenance transformational blonding, and the grow out is natural looking and beautiful! Abby is amazing at what she does and takes the time to get the hair results I want. She has made her space super welcoming and comfortable—she is also lovely to chat with! I’m so happy to have found Gloss Beauty Bar!

This review for Abby and Gloss is very overdue! I feel SO lucky to have stumbled upon the Gloss Beauty Instagram page a few years ago. I always leave the salon feeling like a million bucks and love how Abby highlights and cuts my hair.

But what really sets Gloss apart is all the bonus details that make being a Gloss customer delightful - I can easily book online, I know Abby stays up to date on current trends and honing her skills, we have fantastic conversations during our appointments, and most importantly Abby's updates on the Sheboygan food scene since I’m not a local.

Abby is the best not only does she make your hair look amazing but she boosts your confidence so you feel as good as you look! I don’t know how I haven’t left a review yet. Everything about Gloss and Abby is what I dream of when I think of a hair care experience. Abby consistently exceeds my expectations of beautiful hair. The salon is inviting and relaxing. I never ever leave unhappy. I look forward to my time in her chair and our every 8 weeks chats. I can’t recommend Gloss enough.

Abby is warm and welcoming. She took the time to listen to my vision for my hair before being my service. She’s also knowledgeable about hair care products and make up application. She helped me create a color palette and make items for my daily make up routine. I would highly recommend Abby as a stylist.

My first time at Gloss Beauty Bar was great. Not only was Abby welcoming during my first clientele appointment but also through my first coloring appointment which took quite a while. Don’t let quite awhile fool you though! During the time, the conversation was light and pleasant, but most of all Abby made you feel like she was there to take her time on you. There was no rush and I got treated like a person without the feeling of being pushed through so the next client could quick rush in! Her salon/beauty bar is simple and inviting with an offer of a snack or beverage. Most of all, being anxious about quite a change ( a hair chop and different color)... I am in love with the results and can’t wait to try the new products I immediately fell in love with! I will definitely be back!

Abby is great! She listens to what you want from your hair and makes suggestions that make sense for your lifestyle. I love being the only person getting my hair done and reading magazines, drinking some wine, and having some snacks while chatting with Abby. My hair always feels healthy and updated when I leave. I like that I can choose from a treatment instead of a cut with my hair color as well. Check it out and feel relaxed and pampered!

I found Gloss when Abby did a makeup class. I loved her bubbly personality. I reached out a year or so later and booked my first appointment. From the beginning Abby has been friendly, helpful and not pushy. I have loved the results of her work everytime I visit. I would hands down recommend Abby.

I started my hair journey with Abby about a year and a half ago and have never gotten more compliments! I have always thought and been told blonde was not my thing but Abby has a way of making it look so natural that I loved it so much I keep going lighter! I have been dark brunette all the way to blonde with Abby and all colors look so good. She will never short you on time no matter how long it takes to get you where you want to go!

I have been going to Abby for a while now. Before I started seeing Abby, I had a hard time finding a stylist I liked. What I appreciate most about Abby is her honesty and advice. I usually go into my appointment with some idea, and Abby always consults with me to make my vision come true! She recommends products and is always conscious of my budget. Abby is also FUN! We always laugh, and I always leave my appointment feeling beautiful!
