Beach Shanty Cafe

Great place kinda hidden... One of the best things to in a restaurant is consistency if you look my wife and I ordered the same thing and it looks exactly the same that's great! We both have the ham and cheese omelette and the use of really good ham ,and a good amount of ham in the omelette! Service was excellent very clean fair prices and the food was great! So be on the lookout for this little hidden gem. I want to go there and try lunch now!

Absolutely outstanding! we weren't sure where to grab breakfast from while visiting Clearwater beach but we are glad we chose this spot! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious! We ordered eggs Benedict, an omelette, and a stack of pancakes (which were huge!! See photo)

Where to start. We prefer mom and pop operations and this seemed to be exactly that. Atmosphere very homey with a manager and wait staff to match. Super friendly and eager to please. We had 2 breakfasts here at Beach Shanty and then tried another similar place very nearby. It was ok at best, but nowhere near as good as the Shanty. The food, service, and atmosphere here is the best around. When we come back next year, this will be our early morning spot.

I see some think this is on the expensive side, but given the level of service, quality of food, and the atmosphere, it is definitely in line for this area.

We have been going there since 2008. It's our stop to get a good lunch. There's so many choices to pick from the menu. Breakfast is also good and delicious 😋
We will continue stopping by whenever we are at this location. Give it a try if you're anywhere nearby. We did.

This is a fantastic slice of beach life. We stopped by for breakfast and enjoyed strong (not bitter) coffee. I ate the Shanty Sampler. The fresh scrambled eggs had the perfect light texture and flavor. The selection of meats were tasty and perfectly cooked. The potatoes were pure art. A touch of garlic and onion with a soft bite that was not undercooked at all. The cheese steak omelette was perfection through and through. If you come to Clearwater make the time to come and enjoy the friendly staff and 80s rock.

They have really good prices. The food was amazing, as well as the service. I recommend this place.

Had an amazing breakfast here! Our waitress was so kind and it was a cozy little spot within eyesight of the beach! The Eggs Benedict was a large portion and more than worth the money! Old beach diner feel and close to everything! Highly recommend!

Two days in a row we’ve made our way in here. The pancakes are the best pancakes we’ve ever had. The omelettes are fresh and filling! Coffee isn’t too bad either. This is a great place to start your day.

What an awesome find! We came upon this fabulous nook on our walk one morning then couldn’t stop coming back every day after that for breakfast. Their Irish Benny (Egg Benedict) was simply delicious and the omelets were out of this world. Let’s not talk about the service because there aren’t enough words to describe these lovely ladies who waited on us. Kim and Vicky were so hospitable, friendly, funny, and accommodating. We love everything about this place. The food, the service, the price, and the atmosphere! We will definitely be returning every time we’re in Clearwater Beach.

This is the most magnificent breakfast lunch Cafe. We discovered it in our walk and every single day we went there. Excellent service wonderful vibe and setting and incredibly delicious. Such a sweet place. You must come. No wonder they have been in business for 38 years.

For breakfast, this is much better than Ryan Island Cafe. The French toast was very fluffy and good. The bacon and sausage were perfectly cooked. I would consider getting a plate full of the bacon and sausage. Try the coconut syrup!

Half the reason we look forward to going to Clearwater is getting to have breakfast every morning at The Beach Shanty. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home. Everything on the menu is excellent but my very favorite are Mom’s Bennies. If you enjoy eggs Benedict, you’ll love Mom’s Bennie.

This is the CUTEST restaurant!! We are from a small town and this was the only place that had that back home feel when we visited and the food was AMAZING! The fries were incredible and my son who is a picky eater ate every last bite of his food as well. We loved it here and will 100% be back when we visit next year.

This is the breakfast spot like the one at home. Delicious food, friendly staff, quick service, and ask them for information about what to do in the area. We ate breakfast with them for 2 mornings. Loved the cheese steak omelette and the Belgium waffle with coconut syrup. It’s a must place to eat.

Absolutely amazing. Everything was great from walking in the the service to the food. Our server was very attentive and well mannered. The food came out fresh, piping hot, and delicious. It has a homemade with love flavor goodness. Now for the best part, their secret homemade coconut syrup is to die for. If your a fan of coconut, you have to try their super fluffy pancakes with the magic coconut 🥥 syrup!!!!

This little cafe is fantastic! We were in Clearwater, on vacation, and decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. Not only was the food was delicious, but the service was wonderful! Each lady who worked within the cafe was cheery, kind, and helpful!
The prices are very reasonable, and the food tastes better than some of the restaurants where we spent a fortune. We are foodies and have tried many restaurants, in various places, and this one is fantastic. I highly recommend this place because everything about it was 100% great! We will absolutely be back there, the next time we are in FL.
