I love this place. Good home cooking.
Banana pudding made from scratch. If I lived closer, I would eat there three or four times a week.

Takes you back to the good ole days. Friendly ladies ! Hot delicious food. Plenty of meat on your big biscuit.

The Old House Restaurant is a hidden gem in Statham, GA. It's like going to eat at your Grandmother's house from the consistently delicious food, the kindness of the staff (who know most of their repeat customers by name), to the homey, cozy atmosphere of The Old House. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I have eaten here for breakfast, and it was excellent. I ordered a cheeseburger today and it was amazing. This place has it right, great food, and southern atmosphere at its finest!

Fantastic biscuits! Had sausage link, egg, and cheese, as well as a biscuit with gravy. I should have added sausage to the gravy, but was good enough without. Also had country ham, egg, and cheese on toast and was very good. Good food, great prices, and very nice people!

Everything is always delicious. Good southern hospitality here!

What's not to love. Take a step back in time before all the fast food restaurants. This is apparent from the moment you pull up to what's usually a busy parking lot. Busy for all the right reasons. Home town cooking and hospitality. If your looking for chandeliers and fancy dishes this is not the place for you. What you do get is a sense of what life was in the days of small communities. Where the locals are eager to greet you with a friendly smile and a hello. Where the food is fresh and home cooked.
Personally I find these small locally owned businesses very rewarding. For me it reminds me of going to my grandmother's house. Nothing fancy but filled with love and great food.

Just a good down south mom's and pops restaurant. Biscuits to die for with just about any combo of fillers. Almost always full of people.

Thursday is the best wood grilled pork chops available anywhere.

The food was great and the lady running the place was super nice.

It was so good. A cute little mom and pop place . The pancake was so good. Fluffy and big. The sausage was fall apart ( just the way I like it). It had good flavor ( a little spicy). The cinnamon roll was very good. I liked that they had savory and sweet for breakfast. The biscuit was ok.
We will definitely be back..

Their breakfast is amazing. It feels like walking in to grandmas house with a full blown breakfast. Coffee available. Coke products and tea. Grits. Biscuits (they are huge) steak biscuit. Yum. Very busy on Saturdays. A must go to!!!!! You need to go rather it’s breakfast or lunch. Good southern food….

It's got old school charm it reminds me of my granny when I walk in everything smells sooo good! 👍 👍 If your eating in or getting it togo you can't go wrong with old house 🏠... I haven't had lunch but my mother says it's great as well

I keep forgetting about this restaurant when I want something different, so this morning I didn't as I was craving a smoked link biscuit and coffee. It was so satisfying! If you haven't visited in a while such as myself you're missing a treat.

Home cooked food from scratch family owned for over 30 yrs, it's a great place. BEST biscuits in town.

and really good home fried taters. The prices and service are both excellent. Very friendly people which made my visit even more enjoyable. Those ladies know how to cook just like my granny did. Cannot wait to go there again!

As a truck driver, there are certain little gem of places that you miss from the corner of your eye. I saw this one as I pulling into my shipper. An overheard conversation and a quick research led me to it. This place is a reminder of what home is like when you're away from home. The entire staff is full of great conversations. The people that usually eat here are the people that you find yourself saying "hello" to out of positive auras. The food is a mixture of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, because you can order what you want or choose from what's available of a buffet spread that was professionally made from someone that knows that little secret recipe, just like "momma" make. If you're in this area, out of curiosity and just want to "tickle " your taste buds with some great food, bring an open heart, an empty stomach and fill both at the same time.

Great food and hood people that prepare it. I've never had a bad meal there! A1
