Yumthing Else

Yumthing Else is delicious! There is so much to choose from, so you will not be disappointed! I've tried the Caribbean chicken noodle soup, jerk chicken, and stewed chicken and they were all flavorful and delicious!

After months of searching for good Caribbean food in the area, I am ecstatic! I first found and visited Yumthing Else on Saturday and went back today (Tuesday) with the family. I don't eat meat but they were happy to custom make the meal I chose for me without any meat (Curry teriyaki stir fry). The chef even asked which and how many vegetables I prefer. I was superb! The rest of the family ordered as-is off the menu and everyone was thrilled! We will most certainly go back and take friends!

I drive for DoorDash and picked up an order from here, vowing to try it myself at some point. I finally did today and was not disappointed. I will say the food is a bit greasy, but it tastes wonderful. The broccoli is cooked and seasoned to perfection. The sweet baked beans are well seasoned also. The only thing I wasn't overly impressed with was the sweet plantains. I think they may have been cooked a little too long to where the sweet flavor dissipated a bit. Other than that, everything was wonderful and full of flavor. Please consider supporting this small, black owned business.

Love so many items on this menu!! I can eat the Baked Chicken everyday! Meatloaf and Mash Potatoes (REAL POTATOES!!!) are a fantastic combo! Alfredo Chicken with penne pasta is as good as the Spaghetti and Meat Sauce. But me and my best friend get the Philly Cheese Steak with Fries at least 3 times a week! Highly recommended! The Manager Kim is a smart, sweet, beautiful person! I Support this minority owned business!!!

Been here a couple of times and have tried a good amount of the menu. There isn’t a bad thing I have found. I was honestly skeptical about the spaghetti with meat sauce, as I generally try to stick with what it seems the restaurant will excel at, but it was great. Also have had the Puerto Rican chicken leg and thigh, curry, and the chicken noodle soup. All amazing. The fried chicken is very good as well. All the sides I have had (beans, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese) are outstanding, with the exception of the french fries. Just not seasoned well, and not very crispy. But honestly, I’m not going to a place like this for the fries. Cookies are delicious, and the service is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you have the time.

It has a very friendly atmosphere. It is a mom and pop Caribbean food eatery. The hostesses very good knowledgeable. The cook makes the most wonderful dishes. I plan on returning real soon❣

So far me and my wife had the spaghetti, ribs, jerk chicken, cabbage,Mac and cheese,greens,baked beans, cornbread, and now the chicken strips. Honestly they have not disappoint. The food is fresh and from scratch and you can tell. If you don't grab a plate from here you are missing out.

I had the cheeseburger platter several times, my kids had the Marconi and cheese and chicken strips. I had cabbage too and it was sooooo good. Me and my daughter think the Mac n cheese is amongst the best!!!

Excellent Ox-Tail. Delicious Macaroni and cheese. So many food options including Caribbean and American comfort dishes. Great service , warm and welcoming . Can’t wait to eat here again!!!

Very friendly service and reasonable prices. This was our first time trying and we will definitely visit again. We called in our order and picked up at the drive through. First time trying Pernil, I recommend it!

Macaroni and Cheese, oxtails, and the curry chicken was amazing! Can’t wait to come back! So happy they finally have a place like this in this area.

Definitely enjoyed the food and the service, food and service was welcoming. There was a great variety of food and choices. Will be spreading the word this is a great jewel and Wil be a regular spot for me.

I am from Orlando and was in the area. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. I really enjoyed the food and the staff are extremely nice and friendly. Wish i didn’t live so far.
