Peaceful little park with lots of informative and respectful signs. Urban location - right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, there are preserved and protected mounds. Maps were available. There is a nature trail that goes down to a nearby creek. Feels very secluded, but still safe. There's a boardwalk that's older but still usable. Loved it.

Happy this area was preserved. Full of spring flowers. However I think it would be better to visit in fall/winter to better see the mounds which were hard to pick out among all the plants of various heights.

Been coming here since I can remember my mother bringing me my first time. Then they had actual artifacts in the glass that got stolen. Peaceful place

I had a hard time finding this Park and better road signs would help me. I really enjoyed seeing the burial mounds. I wish the Park was better maintained.

20- 40 minutes is all you'll need. Nice and cool tree canopy on hot summer day.

This park is definitely a treasure that illustrates a very small slice of local indigenous history. I wish we had more places like this, there are few small burial mound areas all along the Sheboygan river, most were discarded for farming and industry. This is one of the few remaining sites in Sheboygan county accessible to the public.

Also- This place came up on a Google search for "dog friendly trails" and to my best knowledge dogs are NOT permitted on this trail which is completely understandable.
Just leaving this info here in hopes Google analytics will get smarter about which parks and trails dogs are and aren't allowed in.

Another quaint little park tucked away in suburban Sheboygan. My girlfriend and I wandered around here one evening. A few trails to guide you through the park and some signs to identify foliage and some of the actual mounds. We were lucky to see deer and lots of squirrels. This would seem to be a good park to bring school children. Highly recommended.

Amazing history at this park. The day that we were there a few staff from the local historical museum were on site which was awesome. They provided a ton of info and really added a lot to what we learned that day.

Sometimes you just have to get out and listen to the wind. This is the perfect place for that. An oasis teeming with wildlife. Rarely do I not encounter deer or turkey on my forays into the woods.

Beautiful park with lots of history. Educational plaques identifying different plants as well as the Indian burial mounds.

This is a park that includes a nice walk in the woods around a path between various burial mounds. It isn't an open area like you'd think when you hear "park"

Been going here for 30 years since my Grandpa first took me. My son's love walking the trails and looking at the open view of the mound.

Quiet park, hard to find, but worth the trip. A nature walk with lots of information, and a large group of mounds built by the native people over 1200 years ago.
