Parker John's BBQ & Pizza

Great location, amazing food. Come for the smells and stay for the flavor. The server was great, and the food came quickly. Come with your stretchy pants because the portions are bountiful. The kids' menu items were well portioned, too. The drink flavors did not disappoint either. This is a must stop in Sheboygan.

Although we had a long wait we were still comfortable in the bar area while we waited. We had our two young children with us and they seemed to fit in with the rest of the crowed. The staff was very friendly, it was my birthday and I got to chose a free dessert from two choices which was really nice. The food was delicious from the drink to the table. Although there was a long wait I still rate 4 stars, the only reason for not a 5 star review would be because I paid 15 for a baked potato with very little sour cream and a few pieces of meat. So I think it was a small portion for a lot.

Cool place. Right on the waterfront. Had the smoked turkey sandwich. Amazing flavor and thick cut with coleslaw! The bloody Marys were excellent! Service was great especially since we had 16 people. The cheese curds were tasty. They had some extra flavoring which is great. Had some of the scorpion sauce. It was hot and made me sweat. Still very tasty . I'd recommend going back there.

I’ve been to this location a few times and have never experienced a reason not to return. The food is consistently great and they are very flexible with customizations. Although I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten there, the sweet potato fries are a must-have - especially the frosting that comes with.

We were told it would be about a 20-25 minute wait, which gave us a chance to walk along the boardwalk. It was quite noisy when the restaurant was full, but this is the case in almost all restaurants.

The reason I chose to write this review is to talk about the service. Specifically, our wonderful server, Summer. She had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humor, and incredible service. We were greeted quickly and got our drinks even quicker. Our food also came out in less than 15 minutes, despite how busy it was. She made sure to check in and graciously fulfilled all my requests. Summer made us feel like her top priority.

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to return!

Lately my work has taken me to Sheboygan quite often. Parker Johns has been a welcome respite after long days. The bartenders, especially Dan and Mollie, have been great, food is tasty. My only complaint of late has been that Parker seems to have discontinued there sweet heat barbecue sauce option, I believe a pineapple habanero. The flavor profile, if not that specific sauce, Parker’s!

We used Parker Johns catering for our wedding and the food was AMAZING. All of our guests were raving about the food. They arrived on time, set up everything, made sure the buffet line was always full, and even packed up all of our leftovers for us. Dinner ran so smoothly. They didn't need any direction from us and just took the lead. I highly recommend Parker Johns for catering.

This is our second time coming here. Everything we ordered was great. Great atmosphere. Will be back.

Totally coming back! What a great spot!! Lively atmosphere, great food, awesome service! Huge portions at a great price. Loved the Pineapple Habanero and all the different choices of sauces!

We had alot of fun at this place. Ordered some drinks and sat outside waiting for a table which wasn't long. Our server was the BEST! Thank you for being a good sport when I said surprise me with a tap beer! Thanks for letting me be the 1st to taste One Swine Day! Our experience there was great. Food was good but our server is what made the evening great!

Food here is great and the service is exceptional. Would not suggest it if you are looking for a quieter atmosphere as the acoustics are not the best and it can get very loud. The BBQ is moist and the sauces blend very well. We tried the Mac and cheese and it was very cheesy. That along with the sweet cornbread and roasted turkey made for a wonderful experience.

Fantastic place to grab a bite to eat. The menu has a great variety and is fairly priced. The selection of beers on tap is great, however, overpriced by a couple of dollars. My boys love the items on the kids' menu. The Pig Mac, and the BB Cuban are my two favorites on the menu.

We went to Parker Johns a total of 3 times while we were on vacation in Sheboygan! Their menu is big and everything we got each time we went was a 10/10. Staff is really great. Sitting outside with the view of the river and the boats was so beautiful. Inside is great tho too!! Definitely recommend stopping by here. If you do, get the Carolina pizza!! It may seem like an odd combination, but you’ll be surprised by how amazing it is. I’m really gonna miss this spot when we leave!

Third visit to Parker John's in three visits to Sheboygan & never disappointed. The BBQ is delicious, the atmosphere is fun - especially if you're outside on the patio! Love the view and vibes. Service is always good. Highly recommend getting the sweet potato fries - served with buttercream frosting - like a dessert!

The staff is very friendly & helpful. This was our first visit. We will be back, for sure! My husband and I shared the Pitmaster's platter. 3 meats (2lbs!) and 3 sides with cornbread- all were so good! We tried the ribs, the brisket and the burnt ends. My husband just kept saying "This is so good!" Then we saved room for dessert- peach cobbler. Just as delicious as everything else we had! Great food, great staff, great place!

So glad the restaurant we intended to go to was closed because that's how we ended up here. Food was great. We ordered the Texas Two Step. Our meats were Brisket and St Louis ribs. Our sides were chili, Mac and cheese and a side of coleslaw. My brisket was so tender and juicy. Not dry at all. My hubs ribs were really good too. He said the meat wasn't dry. Portions for the meat was pretty generous. He thought the coleslaw and Mac n cheese was ok. Chili had a smoked flavor and just a little kick. We like it! Sauces on the table were all very good. Loved the corn bread! We also ordered a kids pizza with tots. My kid ate it so it was kid approved.

Overall great service. Friendly and attentive staff. Our waitress was very nice and gave a good suggestion. I love when you ask about a suggestion you give you an honest opinion!

Bathrooms were clean and restaurant was neat and clean as well.

Food is fantastic as always! The restaurant is a little loud, but it is busy since they have such great food! Service is solid, attentive to drinks and wing refill (Wednesday all you can eat wings). The only thing this one time we went is that one of the BBQ sauces tasted a little off, so I just didn't eat that one. Not sure if it was me or the sauce, but regardless, everything I've had there has been excellent and I will certainly be back!

Nice midday ride up to Sheboygan for some bird watching on the shore of Lake Michigan while we were there we decided to try the Parker Johns BBQ location by the lake. It was moderately busy but we got a table by the windows looking out on the water and the walkways our server got us started with a 1919 Root Beer for me in a frosty mug and a regular tap beer in a simular mug for my companion. We ordered cheese curds for an appetizer which were excellent with a little spice in there coating that only added to there great taste. For our entrees my companion got the Carolina BBQ sandwich and I got the Smokhouse Sliders and a side order of Haystack onion strings. She said that other than she thought they went a little overboard with the coleslaw on the sandwich that the pulled pork was excellent. My sliders which were smoked turkey, pulled pork and smoked brisket were all excellent as were the onion strings everything came in good time and hot. Our server was excellent even with working behind the bar and serving food. Great experience great food and would very much recommend Parker Johns BBQ by the riverside and we will be back again sometime for sure.

The food was great, service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Theamager was lovely. She came to our table and chatted with us about the restaurant and all it's locations and history as well as provided advice on how to best view Lake Michigan. We will stop in whenever we are in the area again.

The food is so good. Wonderful Smokehouse, great menu with plenty of selections and weekly specials. We were there on a Tuesday and had AYCE Ribs.

The service is superb. Like most restaurants, they are understaffed, but they never made us feel rushed. Everyone was polite and professional.

When you stop in, you have try one of their many varied Bloody Mary's.
I personally prefer Bloody Maria's (tequila instead)

We have been to their locations in Sheboygan and Green Bay. We will definitely be going back.
