The Ice Cream Stop

The ice cream was great, the young ladies behind the counter were pleasant and easy to deal with. My group had three different kinds of ice cream. All were really good. I know there are people that say it’s too expensive, but it was a great place for date night, especially for old people like us!

This is our favorite neighborhood ice cream shop! So many unique flavors, fun atmosphere, friendly service! Never been disappointed! Their shakes and malts are fantastic!

The best little ice cream shop! There's a large ice cream selection including some dairy free options. The staff is wonderful and polite. Definitely worth a visit, especially on a hot summer day!

First time here. Employees are very polite and helpful. Lots of flavors. They have strawberry and pineapple softie which I thought was different. The brownie ice cream was excellent. The decor is a bit old but cute.

I love the place! This is my first time coming here too! The indoor play area for the kids is a plus! And they have a train set that goes around inside the ceiling of the whole shop! I also like the photos of the past customers. It gives the whole place it's family oriented and wholesome identity. Oh, the reason why I love the place is because my banana split tasted awesome!!

An absolute favorite of our family's! The employees are always so sweet, there's a large number of flavor options, and it has such a fun laid back retro vibe. An issue we run into is that five of us love ice cream but one doesn't, we love that they have some options for him as well as non-dairy options. A few extras: there is ample parking, some outdoor seating as well as indoor, an always clean restroom, and a pitcher of water is always out.

The person working the counter didn't cath their name, but they were awesome and kept their cool with a large line. The milkshake was awesome, and flavourful was on point!

My wife and I took a detour from I-95 to visit the Ice Cream Stop. It has a pleasant, old-fashioned atmosphere, and many flavors to choose from. The young man who served us, Anderson, was very friendly! We enjoyed a hot fudge sundae. It was a bit on the small side with only two scoops. If they had a larger option, we would have gone for that. Overall, a great place to stop for a respite from driving!

When you walk in you are greeted. Nice variety of ice cream. They also have dairy free and sugar free options. The service was fast. They took the time with my granddaughter who is autistic and she felt special. They were busy and everything was clean. The tables were cleaned immediately. We will definitely be going back.

One of the best places in Richmond Hill to stop for ice cream or dessert! The staff is very friendly and if you’re not sure which flavor you want, ask for a free sample.

My family & I ate dessert here yesterday evening and greatly enjoyed it. I got a single scoop (comes with 2 scoops) cone with mint chocolate chip on the bottom and chocolate chip cookie dough on top. It was very delicious and hit the spot!

What a great experience we had today at The Ice Cream Stop! There was a few people in line and we were watching Diamond serve her customers, she was very nice, friendly, and had a smile. Very clean establishment loved the decor!

Even though Diamond was serving customers by herself and very busy .. she kept a smile on her face and filled orders quickly and neatly. The Shop was clean, customers were happy.. our first visit but not our last..! The perfect place to take your family..!

The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill GA provides delightful ice cream. The taste brought me back to the authentic old fashioned Ice cream. Well worth the trip and the staff was friendly and nice always a plus in my book. 🍦💕
