The Carriage House Buffet of Jefferson

Kinda a hidden treasure! 1st time in, we find a well stocked country kitchen breakfast bar! My wife and I didn't know about this place and decided to try it out, and we left very pleased
The restaurant is in an est. 120 year old home of someone unknown to us at this time, but very nice !

Simple quaint house from a time back when turned into a restaurant run by a young woman who's working so hard you wouldn't think she's the owner. Small Buffett style menu constantly cooked fresh nd filled. Established safety precautions. Family gathering after church atmosphere.

Excellent food, extremely clean, friendly staff & great atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely amazing!! OJ the owner is super nice, waitresses are so sweet, all of the food tastes very delicious!! My husband and I love this place, it’s also very beautiful here!! There’s also a Carriage House in Athens and it’s just as amazing as this one is!! We highly recommend it!! 💯🤤🎉

I found out about this gem on facebook!! So my boyfriend and I plus my best friend and her husband decided to go on Valentines night to avoid the other restaurant crowds. Wow! What a treat! The food, atmosphere, and the people were absolutely amazing. The owner gave us a tour of the house, plus the musician sang and played keyboard to us personally! We all sang a song together!! If you haven’t tried this place/ do it!! Maybe this post will convince you to do so! We had the best time, plus left completely full!! 😃

This is a great lunch spot! All of the staff members were super friendly and helpful. The food was very good. Great southern style buffet at a reasonable price. We tried out everything on the buffet and it was all good. Lots of options. They even have a soft serve ice cream machine.

We were out cruising on a Sunday afternoon, we came upon the Carriage House. Good down home cooking, chicken, ribs and roast beef with all the veggies you can eat. And wide selection of desserts. Delicious! The staff was very friendly and courteous. Definitely, worth the drive out if you're looking for some good food. It's reasonably priced.

Great value, good food, very nice customer service, and a nice atmosphere! Loved sitting on the porch and eating all the yummy homemade southern food. All you can eat, and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Will be back!

The workers there are so Awesome 🤩 Went for Thanksgiving Dinner and my son and I got there right after the last customer was seated, They were getting ready for closing, But they gladly let us on In for a table, The Place was Beautifully Decorated and the waitress was so sweet. And best of all we got to go right up to the Buffet and get our food, Which was Hot and Absolutely delicious 😋 I feel so Blessed to have eaten my Thanksgiving Dinner with the most amazing people and Beautiful place. I will definitely be going back 😁

I cannot believe in all the years I've been visiting family and friends in the Jefferson Ga area, I had no idea about this restaurant! This place is fantastic! You can order off of the menu or just get the buffet and try a little of everything! It is all great! The pulled pork is sooo good! I will go every time I'm in the area now! It really is that good!

What a wonderful little place! A beautiful historic home that has tastefully been turned into a delicious country buffet. Reasonable prices, extremely kind and mindful staff, and some of the best food I've had in quite some time! Great option for lunch (which we had) with family and friends.

We always.love coming here. Food is great! Service can sometimes be a little slow but they are always busy so try not to give them a hard time.

My husband & I went here over the weekend and we enjoyed it so much! It was a pleasant experience all the way around! Delicious food, extremely friendly employees and excellent service. We will definitely make the drive back over to eat in the future !

This is a good all you can eat country buffet. Worth the trip. Everything was really good and the waitress was very attentive and never let our tea glasses get empty.

Such a cute little eatery! I loved how sanitary it was, everyone wore gloves through the buffet line, we were upstairs for an event and enjoyed the space very much! It was perfect for our rehearsal dinner! Recommend all the time!! 10/10 place! 💗

You do not want to miss out on this fantastic dining experience! The friendliest, most courteous and welcoming staff I have encountered in years! The food is made with love! So good! Wish we lived closer, but worth the drive!

Supper is awesome but the breakfast Sunday morning was like eating at your grandma's house. All the breakfast faves at an affordable price. And the Christmas decor is so beautiful

Great food at this place. It's a little out of the way but worth the drive.

Delicious food. The added made to order omelet was a great deal. If the omelet bar was out in the open, I think it would draw a lot of attention.

The food is delicious and always at the right temperature for eating. Staff is friendly and professional from the time you enter until you leave. We love the Carriage House!
