The Osthoff Resort

We attended a wedding at the Osthoff and it was beautiful. Hotel was quite old, but very well maintained. The beds, bedding and pillows were super comfy. The carpet needs replacing. As large as the hotel is, they should offer pet friendly accommodations. Other than that we highly recommend this hotel and will revisit.

Stayed for a weekend in one of those rooms that is like a suite. Not sure what Osthof calls them. Rooms and views are super nice. Fairly clean. People working the front desk, bar, and restaurant were very nice also. Location is amazing, great view of the lake, easy walk to the rest of town to get where you want to be. This place has to be busy in summer, and I bet it's a lot of fun too.

My son and I drove 558 miles to spend two days at this beautiful resort. The room was top tier, the meeting room was spacious and the Sunday meal was excellent. Three stars for location because of the distance.

The grounds is beautiful and our room was amazing. Beautiful bathroom, nice bedroom, comfy living room with fireplace & balcony, dinning area and kitchen complete with everything you need to cook.

Company holiday party there. The osthoff is a wonderful place. Always very clean. Staff is attentive to details. Food was excellent. A very enjoyable night.

Amazing hotel. Stayed for 4 nights, did not disappoint. There are secret hot tubs, many walkways, and a beautiful beach. The arcade is amazing, i won an ipad. also has amazing view from 4th floor.

My daughters and I had a bachelorette weekend celebration at the Osthoff and had the time of our lives! Our two bedroom suite was big, beautiful, clean and comfortable and the perfect place to relax. The property offers so much to do and is right next door to many additional amusements in Elkhart Lake. The lake itself is spectacular, the best in the state I'm sure! And every staff member we encountered was helpful, cheerful and kind. We visited the spa in January and that was wonderful too! We plan to come back yearly at least. Just the best!

The Osthoff Resort is top shelf in every way! Stayed here during the Challenge Races at Road America. The rooms are spectacular and the staff is always friendly and professional. Lots of food and drink options on site and within walking distance.

Wonderful hotel right in the center of charming Elkhart Lake. Grounds are beautiful with easy lake access & a man made beach. 3 restaurants but seems like they serve the same things. Nice lobby bar. We got the 2 bedroom/2 bath suite (sleeps 8) plenty of room for all of us. Nice kitchen, large living room with lots of windows & a washer dryer. Staying here is a splurge but facilities is a beautiful hotel & only 5 min drive to Road America

Absolutely loves this place. It was very peaceful our suite was so spacious we had a full kitchen with dishes and real silver ware. The living room area had a fireplace and TV. The bedroom was separate and was very spacious and comfortable and had a balcony seating area. We loved the jet tub and the huge shower. Every thing was great and relaxing I will say it is a big property but once you know where You’re going you can’t get lost. There are three restaurants and a spa with in the hotel and lots to do around in the area. We loved it so much we will be coming back.

The Osthoff Resort is a true oasis of relaxation and indulgence in rural Wisconsin, providing the perfect escape for a memorable weekend getaway. My girlfriend and I visited in the chilly month of March, and despite the cold weather outside, we were treated to a warm and inviting atmosphere within the resort. One of our goals in staying was the luxury of never having to venture out into the cold, as the resort had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay.

The dining options were exceptional, with a variety of restaurants catering to different tastes and moods. We enjoyed drinks and scrumptious bar food at The Elk Room, indulged in breakfast room service and a leisurely weekend lunch at Otto's, and experienced the pinnacle of fine dining at The Concourse, where we savored a delicious steakhouse meal. The attentive and friendly bartenders and servers made our dining experiences even more enjoyable.

The resort's ambiance struck the perfect balance, with a lively yet tranquil atmosphere that allowed us to unwind without the risk of tripping over hordes of energetic kids. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Our suite was well-appointed and cozy, complete with a full kitchen, and although it was too cold to enjoy the patio, we were more than content with the indoor amenities.

To top it all off, The Osthoff Resort features a game room that caters to both kids and those young at heart, adding a dash of fun and nostalgia to our stay. For some rejuvenation, we relished the sauna and whirlpool, which were the perfect antidotes to the cold weather outside. In conclusion, The Osthoff Resort is a true gem in rural Wisconsin, offering outstanding hospitality, exquisite dining options, and a delightful ambiance, making it the ultimate destination for a relaxing and luxurious weekend escape.

Have yet to stay but what a gorgeous place. The Christmas Market is wonderful and my favorite one to go to.

Huge, fancy, practical. This hotel can accommodate and cater to indoor and outdoor events. Lots of space for venues. Indoor and outdoor pools. Bar and restaurant inside. Host biking, kayak, ice skating as well. Apparently it's a very old hotel but it's seems very well kept and modern. Each room I went to for both stays had a shower and a tub with jets. Had no issues with the service. I think rooms are very affordable considering all the hotel offers in such a remote location. Restaurant is definitely on the expensive end with 10% gratuity taken out upfront.

Traveled here for a family vacation. We really enjoyed this resort, it had lots of pools (2 outdoor, one indoor with a hot tub, and another indoor whirlpool. The indoor whirlpool was closed which was a little disappointing but there was another one so it ended up being okay. We liked the arcade games, and the restaurant choices were good and food was good as well. Our room smelled like livestock and we didn’t know why. The hallway smelled a little musty as well. One of our TV’s would not work but maintenance fixed it. We really liked the beach, and the live music was great as well. They had a bonfire and a pack of s’more materials for $5. The water sports were also great, we rented paddle boards and a paddle boat. The staff were really nice and helpful at this resort. Overall, we had a very nice stay at the Osthoff and we will be back!

This is a beautiful resort, a great weekend getaway place to relax. The size of the room was impressive. We had a 2 bedroom suite which included two seperate bathrooms (VERY much appreciated as we had four adults in the room getting ready for a wedding), a sitting area with a fireplace, a balcony with a table and chairs, and a full kitchen. The drive to get to the resort was very pretty. The ballrooms are amazing, the staff for the wedding was great. A great all around experience.

Loved this resort. My husband and I enjoyed our New years weekend staying here. Food, bar and restaurants are good, we liked Otto’s food. Nice NYE celebration.

Lots of families and kids, we stayed away from the inside pool. (To clean the pool they emptied and filled it back up-good to see/know!)
Nice little walk through town. Found a beautiful little Nordic store.
Race cars history around town. We will definitely have to come back in warmer months.

The Osthoff has great staff. Shout out to Marin and Maci the bartender! It's currently having some renovations, so it's being updated, but keeping that traditional charm. The property is absolutely breathtaking. The conference area is fantastic and well equipped. It's easy to get to and just truely a hidden gem! The whirlpool tubs in most of the rooms - HEAVEN! Great facility!
