Schwarz's Supper Club

Other than the ungodly long wait, the food was delicious to compensate for it! We ordered the prime rib for two. Ordered it rare and it came out medium rare so it was PERFECT! The drinks were delicious as well as the calamari! For as long of a drive it was for us, we will definitely be back!

My first Wisconsin Supper Club experience did not disappoint. Really fun atmosphere and the best steak I've had in several years. Would definitely come back again.

Went there to celebrate my dad's birthday. Had a fantastic time. The food was great, as always. The service was spectacular, the staff was friendly and very attentive. My only issue was I ordered my T-bone medium-well, and it was more medium than well, but it was seasoned well,and was very tasty.

Loved the vibe of the location and the drive out was relaxing.
We decided to dine early because they get busy extremely fast, and the staff were polite and attentive to all our needs.
The appetizer was amazing (combo platter). The entrees were generous in portion sizes and we had some good left overs. Initial flavor was a bit bland, PERSONALLY, but the Mrs and I agree we will go back with friends for a good time

First time here and was not disappointed. It is a bit crowded at times. But they give you a estimated time you will be seated and it was right on. There old fashion's are excellent, and the prime rib was outstanding 👌 along with there ribeyes and T-bone's. The picture of the Prime Rib was 52 Oz. Prime for two! It easily would feed four. We diffently will be back.

Interesting ordering/seating system they have going on here (which I actually like!) Must get the prime ribs because they are so tender, juicy and flavorful. Avoid long waits by arriving at around 3pm.

This is a 45 min drive for us and was my first time here and will definitely go back! Was very busy but only waited about 20-30 min at bar (me and son), drinks were excellent & bartenders were on top of it and extremely friendly and the food was excellent! Melt in your mouth prime rib! I had mine medium and son got med rare, both were perfect! Looking forward to next visit.

Schwarz's is one of the best supper club experiences I've had in Wisconsin. The wait staff is friendly, the food is delicious and speedy. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for an elevated supper club. P.S. they add a little humor by calling names over the P.A. if you want to give an alias.

Definitely in my Top 10 of favorite restaurants.
Excellent drinks, outstanding steaks and fish, always friendly staff.
Definitely worth the wait because there is almost always a wait- it’s that popular!

If I could, I'd give this place 6 stars. Schwartz's is the quintessential Wisconsin supper club and the food was phenomenal! Truly the best dinner I've ever eaten. Great bar and great drinks - top notch brandy old fashioneds. It just got better once we got to the table for dinner. Fresh salad, bread basket and relish tray were great, and the entrees were amazing. My ribeye was perfectly done, perfectly seasoned and perfectly delicious. The haddock that came with the combo was excellent as well. My friend's prime rib was the best I'd ever had. When you order the smallest cut of prime rib, most places give you a very thin slice and it usually ends up overcooked. This was different. The portion was small, but at least an inch thick. Juicy and meaty, tender and delicious. Service was fast and friendly and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dinner!!

Schwarz’s has supper clubbing down to an art. From the drinks at the bar to the service ready to go at the table, the entire experience is well choreographed. It reminds me of my parents taking me to our local supper club as a child - a real Wisconsin tradition.

This is a 5 star place with some quirky customs. I had the perch dinner and it was fantastic. My friends both had prime rub which I ate some of. It was perfectly cooked and tender.
Now the quirks.
I ordered a brandy old fashion and to my chagrin it wasn't muddled oh well still tasted great.
When you get in there you are instructed towards the bar where you need to place your order first before sitting down. That's weird to me but not a huge deal. Just worth mentioning as I was surprised.
When you do sit your salads are allready at the table so that's great.
Definitely recommend this place if you are anywhere near New Holstein

When I was a kid, on special occasions my parents would take us to Schwarz's in St. Anna. I now live out of state, and when I was in town on business just before Mother's Day, I had to take mom there. What an experience. She said the lobster was the best she has ever eaten. The prime rib was not fatty and when I cut a strip of meat, I used my fork to cut it into bite size pieces. It was over 30 years since I was there last, and it was better than I remembered!

Celebrated my parents 57th anniversary. Enjoyed a delicious meal and cocktails. Staff is very friendly and service is prompt. Make sure you order when you sit at the bar for quicker dining room service.

We were on a bike ride and remembered this gem from a friend that told us about it. We are so glad that we did. When we pulled up and saw the parking lots full we knew we were in the right place for a delicious meal.
We went in and the hostess informed us how it worked.
We found a chair at the bar and ordered our cocktails.
After glancing at the menu, we decided on prime rib for two.
There was a short wait, but that should be expected.
Our dinner was absolute amazing.

We started with one waitress and ended up with another & she was also amazing. Since we were not from the area she gave us good directions to head back to our location. I am so glad we ended up with her.

We can't say enough about this gem of a supper club.
We will be back.

I alway get prime rib from here and it’s always great. Today I decided to try the cowboy steak and I will tell everybody that I will never get prime again. It not because it’s bad but today I had the best steak ever. I love Schwartz’s and will keep coming back. Thank you for the best steak I ever had.

It's been close to 2 year since I've been out. I am glad to report that this place is still perfect. The food is a 11/10 the drinks are wonderful. I'd wish more people that came would still treat this like a night out and wear at least their Sunday best but to each their own. Dress nice, be hungry and leave full.

Schwarz’s is unlike any other. I love the place and have been going here for years. I will say, in recent years the salad has gone a bit downhill (you may not think a dinner salad is important but it has always been a staple at Schwarz’s so it’s noticeable when it isn’t great anymore) and looks pretty sad. Would love if they’d put some more effort into the salad! The other food is great though, whether you’re getting steak or broasted chicken or something in between. It can get extremely busy during the main dining time as others have pointed out. But even when jam packed you can somehow always find your way up to the bar!

It's always a top-notch experience here!!

Love this supper club. Been here many many times.

This is a family run supper club for many years. Passed down through generations. Their claimed to fame initially was broasted chicken which they're still famous for as well as their steaks. But the menu is vast.

This is a very traditional supper club where typically you're going to have several drinks beforehand. Expect a long wait on the weekend.

Old fashions are decent and inexpensive. You'll want to order a little something to eat while you wait for your table. Their onion rings are notorious and huge in quantity. You order it by a quarter order. A full order would be for four people.

This is off in the case in a traditional supper club. You'll order from the bar area in advance of being seated. The custom known by regulars is when you're ready to have someone take your order, you stand your menu up on the table and then they'll swing by and take your order.

You'll be taken to the back restaurant area where your pickle tray and salads will be waiting on your at your seat along with breadsticks and bread.

Enjoy your dinner! You'll take your check and pay on your way out of the restaurant area after your meal.

Arrive early on the weekends and expect to easily be an hour in the bar area before being seated.
