Coach's on the Lake

We had a pizza and some the chicken dinner and a bowl of French onion soup. I think that she forgot to put our order in because our pizza took 45 minutes and then another five for the chicken. The Pizza was really good. The chicken was good but the breast was still a little raw so I ate the rest of the pieces and took the breast home. Will definitely be back for the pizza.

Karaoke night! We have been there twice recently. Both times, the appetizer came out with the meal.
Lasagna was great & garlic bread was even better!! 😋
Must have the eggplant. So delicious. The half order is BEYOND filling. Great place to eat!

I ordered the carry out broasted chicken, for pickup/carry out. It was excellent. Best broasted chicken I've had in a while. It was ready as promised for pick up. I think their food is really good. Keep up the great cooking and service !!

Had an all-around great experience at Coach's on the Lake.

The atmosphere is very casual, open space with a wide variety of seating options. Although they were not very busy (State Fair weekend) I still made a reservation to insure we would have a low-top table for varying heights and ages of the members of our group.

Service was on point. Friendly and attentive from the server to the runners. Always asking if we need anything else when bringing items to the table. No hovering though.

The food is very tasty. Ordered at our table were the wings, cheese curds, French onion soup, broasted chicken, and the grilled chicken sandwich. All was enjoyed by those ordering - with exception to the soup. I don't know if they don't make it in the traditional style, shouldn't be calling it French onion, or it was just an off night. The person expected to see the trademark "cap" of browned cheese spilling over the top and down the sides of the crock, but instead receive a bowl of mostly broth with the cheese having sunk to the bottom. She was disappointed and didn't eat it. Rave reviews from the person who order the broasted chicken (LOT of food) and the one who ordered the wings and curds. Oh yea, the one who ordered the soup, also ordered the coconut shrimp and said it was very good.

For me, I had the House Salad with Parmesan Peppercorn, and the Mushroom Swiss Burger with Fries. The house salad is GINORMOUS. I only ate half so I would have room for my burger and fries. Even THAT was too much as I only ate 1/2 the burger and 1/2 the fries as well (had the salad for breakfast and the burger and fries for lunch the next day). I wanted fresh veggies and I guess I got them! The salad WAS very fresh, and the contents were chopped very small so you could get a bit of everything on your fork at once. The best way to have a salad. The burger is cooked to your liking, on a lightly toasted bun, and was a nice size - not small, but not an over the top huge thing you can't even get in your mouth. Oh and the fries. CRINKLE CUT! The best kind. I know, I know. It's a fried potato strip. There's just something about those crinkles that make them so much better.

Had the bucket of broasted chicken was the best chicken I've had in 60+ years. Last time I had chicken that good was from the old DutchLand Dairy in Hales Corners WI. back in the 60's

Very friendly service, food arrived promptly. I have not had a Big Boy burger in years and WOW it was excellent along with Potato Pancakes made the correct way! YUM!!! Hubby had Cod fish fry, that was delicious too. We will be back! Great food at great prices as well.

Just had a carry out pizza.
Excellent pizza. The sausage is fantastic.
Also a big fan of their broasted chicken.

If you haven't been here in a while like us because they had Chris the bartender supposedly managing the place and service by the all teen untrained staff was horrible, come back! Nan the manager and Kathy a lead server are great! The Coach Big Boy Burgers are cheap and the sour cream and chive fries are to die for. In the summer sit on the covered patio and look out at Lake Denoon. Very relaxing!

My wife and I went there and enjoyed some of the best fried eggplant strips, broasted chicken, and pizza we've had in a long time. The bartender Sarah was attentive and engaging. We are glad we visited there.

Service was fantastic! Portions for the fish dinner were fantastic. My husband and I share a meal due to portions often being too much. They split the meal for us even though we never asked for special service like this. Food was perfectly done and delicious and the perfect amount. Their prices were perfect for the portions. WE WILL BE BACK SOON!

I don't know about these other reviewers, but this place is great. The food was great as was the service. Not crowded and food came at appropriate times. We loved the food. Everyone of our party of 6 had pastas and they were all great. We will be having lunch and dinner with the leftovers as result of the large proportions.

Also, the garlic bread is the best I've ever had. Lots of the food was homemade and absolutely delicious. We will be returning again and again for sure. A person in our group has dietary requirements and they had zucchini spaghetti and gluten free pizza that they could eat and they enjoyed it.

Awesome food. Staff is friendly. I've never ever been disappointed with the food. We go here about once a month, wish we could more often. Only time I wasn't happy was when the appetizer menu didn't have pretzels anymore lol.

Please do not avoid this restaurant based on bad reviews. My husband had the cajun chowder and beer battered cod and I had the clam chowder and baked cod. Everything was hot and the service was great. After reading the reviews, I was expecting a horrible experience...but it is now my favorite Muskego restaurant. The food was amazing!

The dining area was mostly empty, which made me sad, because they truly did address issues from previous comments based on my experience tonight. Give this place the love it deserves!

Take out order for pizza and garlic bread. 35 minutes (thats how long it was going to be before we could get there) no waiting when we arrived. Garlic bread is great, crispy on outside, soft and garlicky on inside With a side if their delish marinara. I'll get extra marinara just because i like it so much. We were very happy with their pizza, perfect crust and flavor. Nice Italian sausage, think they make their own.😊 Our first time with take out, however dined in on Sundays for lunch several times. Excellent wings, eggplant appetizer, famous Big Boy Burger, chicken dinner, children's pizza and salad.

Delicious food and great service! Sat outside on a summer evening and enjoyed a beautiful view of lake Denoon and the boats going by. So peaceful. The Lombardo combo fish plate was a generous portion and very tasty. Homemade potato pancakes! Chicken parmesan very good. We got the garlic bread as an appetizer and we agree its the world's best! Definitely get it!!! Chloe was our server and was a delight. We will be back!

My "GO TO" fish fry place! Lots of food at a very reasonable price. Classic fish fry with either potato pancakes or french fries. Eat in the dining room or at the bar. I like to eat at bar with tables that hook onto the bar so it's easy to enjoy your dinner without spilling. Chris and Michelle are the bartenders, great service. They play music by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. LOVE IT!

Plenty of space for sitting at bar and dinning. Vast menu,wings and gluten free pizza awesome! Staff and kitchen prompt. Atmosphere feels like Northern WI. without a 5hr drive. Plenty of Tv's for all sports. Prices very reasonable! Check it out!!!

Been there twice. 1st time they had just opened up and kitchen service was very slow. Owner was very, very sorry & comped more than a fair amount. Came back for a fish fry mid afternoon. Wasn't busy but service was great. Nice selection of tap brews too.
