Pelicans On the Bayou

We had a group from out of town meet up at pelicans on the bayou. They held extra staff and took good care of us. Knights on bikes louisiana would like to say thank you!!

They have great food and great prices. The ham and cheese poboy was tasty. I would definitely eat it and the fried pickles and boiled fried potatoes again.

Cute place with nice outdoor seating. We started out the with super tasty crawfish kickers and jalepeño poppers. The crab burger was awesome and the lightly battered catfish po' boy and onion rings were delicious. The oyster dinner platter was huge and very good as well. Our server was friendly and attentive.

We were riding around in that area. Found this place after stopping at the casino and not impressed with their restaurants at all. We stumbled on this one and was VERY PLEASE with everything! We'll definitely be going back!

Food and drinks were great! Sat at the bar to eat and drink.

Very nice place to meet with friends and sit along the bayou. Can be accessed by car or boat! Good burgers and onion rings. The fried pickles are some of the best I have ever had.

If you never had Pelicans wings, I’m sorry but you never had good wings!! These are the best wings I’ve tasted in my life. You have to try them I promise you won’t regret it!!

Awesome down to earth cajun atmosphere, really good food, reasonable prices and great service. We love the setup outside on the bayou.

I've been here 3 times and each time it was superb. The food is delicous. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Plus there's always a live band. Tonight was the first time catching a band play and it was really fun.

I have been to another place around the area and let’s just say this place blows them out of the water!!! We will most definitely be back!

The food was good, but the breading for the shrimp and onion rings could use a little more seasoning. Our server was the best we have had in a long time. It was our first time eating here. We usually try to eat out once a week. We will be returning for sure 👍

Had the fried pickles to start. The BEST we've ever had!! We ordered a fried fish platter and a fried shrimp platter, both with the fried onion rings. It was all freshly cooked. The flavor was scrumptious. The fish melted in your mouth. The shrimp so incredibly tender. The onion rings perfectly cooked. We will be back soon!!

Seafood is the best.

We went to have crawfish here a few days ago. Excellent service. The cook, owner, and servers all made sure we were pleased with our order. Thank you for your hospitality. Crawfish were huge. We will be back.

Stopped here on Wed. A short road trip from Lafayette with the daughter and grand girls. What a treat!! Of course the kids wanted fried dill pickles, one loves fried shrimp. Did not disappoint. Do not forget to try the fried onion rings. THE BEST! Will definitely take hubby
