I drive 20 min to go to this Safeway for the florist alone! The selection of flowers and plants are amazing. Not to mention the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great store with a great team.

Nice for lunch pick up. Hot bar chicken doesn't disappoint. 2 piece meal - $8. Also serves lunch sushi pickup done fresh at lunch daily during the week.

I was great at the pharmacy and quest diagnostic.

Well stocked, except for some ice creams, like Talenti...

I really like this location , there is a safeway that is closer to us but this location has better customer service,produce,cleanliness etc. and will continue to shop here! They always have what I need and it's always fresh!!!

The La Plata location is the best. Best Seafood and great variety of produce.

They're slacking on the produce. Was about the only place to find Horn Mellon.

I have to give a review for the great service I had. I ordered a bunch of platters for a small wake we were having. Ordering online was easy. My order was ready on time and the platters were done beautifully! All veggies and fruit were fresh and looked very nice on the tray. They even brought them out to my car for me. Everyone enjoyed the food. Thank you for a great job

I drive 20 miles to go to this Safeway! Everything is great about this place. Best floral shop anywhere! Meat department always stocked well and they don't run out of things like other stores do. You can find everything you are looking for. I don't have to go to another Safeway to get sale items. Love this place!

It was fine. Got in and out quickly. Not too crowded. Found what I needed easily. My emotional support dog brought lots of smiles to lots of people's faces. Employees were nice and respectful.

Sandy in Customer Service is one of the kindest people working in customer service in any business that I’ve ever met.
Story: By most unfortunate dumb luck, I did over and hour and a half of grocery shopping and bagged all my groceries and managed to get them all arranged in my cart (no small feat since it was $430+ of food) before realizing in horror that I’d left my card at home. 😭
I was embarrassed to the point of tears and Sandy gently told I could come back and get the groceries after I went home and got my credit card. She gave me kind assurance that it happened all the time and that my food would be refrigerated.
My husband returned to Safeway 2.5 hours later. Due to a misunderstanding regarding how long they’ll hold groceries, my groceries got packed up shortly before my husband arrived. 😩 I called customer service to try and understand why this happened. Sandy openly admitted that she was the same person I’d spoken to in person apologized for any role she’d played in -what was for me- a tremendous and emotional inconvenience. Sandy was wholly sincere, thoughtful, and listened to my concerns and frustration with thoughtful attention.
Despite it being a deeply irritating situation all around, Sandy’s compassion made it bearable and because of her, I will continue to shop at Safeway.
P.S. It’s possible her name was Sandra. I hope I didn’t get it wrong.

Friendly staff, ALWAYS NEAT AND STOCKED! La plata is literally 20 minutes out of my way, but I refuse to shop anywhere else! This particular staff deserves most friendly/helpful staff and pleasant customers. I rarely leave reviews because I forget, but this staff deserves the acknowledgement! Great job cashiers, service members, stock, management and team!

Pharmacy has the best staff of any Safeway I have been to. They go the extra mile to help their clients , to be sure they can get and afford their medication. Always efficient and courteous. A rare quality in some places these days....as always I had a fast , courteous pharmacy run. Their competitors close for lunch, yes the pharmacy shuts down completely for lunch NOT SAFEWAY, they have someone there the entire time pharmacy is open....will continue to come back here ....love safeway pharmacy!!

I love this store. It's right down the road from me and it's not often they don't have what I'm looking for. Their pharmacy employees are the most accommodating that I've seen since I've lived in Georgia.

Had all but one item I was looking for. Great sale on meats. Cashier was very friendly and polite. I'm disabled and the Young man followed me out and helped me place everything in my car from the riding cart. Extremely helpful. Customer service was top notch.

Well stocked and clean. They have everything. The night time cashier could use some traing on customer service and manners. You can't get any help findung things or getting help to your car with your grocerys at night. I love this store but, there isn't a manager in duty anymore at night and it is hurting this store. When the cat us away....

Pharmacy staff is great and friendly. Prompt with Rx order. Store staff also friend, helpful and the store is clean and always stocked.

Who has not stopped at a grocery to pick up something for dinner to fix for oneself or the family. Happy to have this store on my way home to stop at. Love the hours of operation.

I went in to use western Union, and was greeted by a pleasant lady who quickly said gd morning, and how she could help me? Was in and out in less than 5mins.great customer service!
