Nemo Public Use Area

They’re getting five stars because despite high waters and half of the grounds unusable, it was still gorgeous here and we still had a blast. I can’t wait to come back when waters are lower.

Beautiful sunrise just outside the camper. Nice kept park. Great shower houses and camp sites. Right on the lake. Boat ramp available.

Nemo is our "go to" spot whether putting the boat in or as an outting. Campgrounds are great and plenty of kid friendly activities.

Love Nemo! It has excellent crappie fishing, beautiful sunsets, friendly folks and clean campground. Restrooms are plenty, there’s a nice playground for the kiddos, too. Some of the campground is under construction due to the flooding in 2019. Great place!

We very much enjoy bringing our family to this campground. We can do it all. Swim , fish, and just have safe fun with the kids and the adults. Its always been nice and clean and has beautiful shady spots.

Super facility 4 lane ramp plenty of parking. They won't put an attendant in the booth to pay your annual pass to launch, but they will for certain take the time to stop n write you a ticket for not buying the annual pass.

We launch our boat at Nemo a lot. The 4 ramps are big. Access is easy and their is typically enough parking. Some holiday weekends parking becomes a small challenge, but there are always options. There are restrooms at the boat launch and restrooms with showers up above. The grounds are well kept for campers and there is a beach and playground as well. The courtesy dock at the launch sometimes has a small line. It can accommodate 3 boats at a time and wait times are typically under a couple minutes. The cove where the boat launch is is nice, deep and wide. There is bank boat parking if you dont mind a few rocks etc.

We go every year and we love it. Wish they had more camper spots with electric and water that weren't reserved all the time.

Great facilities and family friendly, one of our best keep secrets. Come here 2-3 times a year. And not far from Lucas Speedway.
