Definitely a great value for whatever you choose to get. There is a number/ticket ordering System so pull a number and expect a little bit of a wait, but trust me it’s worth it. I’ve never had a bad experience and anyone I know who has, management has always made it right. Always a great selection of produce, deli, alcohol and even sweet treats. Lots of grab and go options as well

Staff is the best especially Tim very knowledgeable and willing to please every time I come in. The cashiers are just as great and help me do to my physical issues. The deli is great as well but needs better organization. Love this place.

Another trip to Nicks of Clinton. Super Bowl Sunday so it was busy but the amazing kind hardworking staff keep this place a gem in our community. Came home with shrimp, steaks, subs! Al so good!

First, a recommendation - either sign up to get their weekly email or follow them on Facebook so you get their weekly sales flyer. You can not go wrong following them. Second, support your local butchers! Nick's runs great specials, and their butchers are very helpful, as is the rest of their team. Some of yesterday's specials included boneless skinless chicken breasts at $1.29/lb., boneless New York strip steak at $5.99/lb. (and the butchers cuts to your preferred size), and 2 lb./uncooked bags of shrimp at $9.99/bag. So good!!

🚨Just FYI to Nicks Loyal Customers👉🏾Subs went up $1 (from $4.99 to $5.99) but that doesn't stop them from being the best subs in SOMD‼
They also promise to make all efforts to keep prices low, which is what really matters.😌🙏🏾

Wonderful selection of heat at home Italian meals! We enjoyed the Cheese Tortellini with butternut squash & sausage in cream sauce. The kiddos loved making their own pizzas with the pizza kit. The steaks were so big and fresh that my husband and I shared one for dinner. Sweet corn and fresh broccoli made nice accompaniments. We are so stuffed we will have to wait til tomorrow to try the cupcakes! Knowledgeable meat department staff and friendly cashiers rounded out a great experience at Nick’s!

Deli/ Butcher counter persons are friendly and knowledgeable.

I had my emotional support pet in sack on my hip and was asked to leave. Tried to explain that's why I have her with me, Nope. I'll have to find another place to shop. Only place I've had trouble with.

A gentleman assisted me in selecting my birthday celebration wine, and as I was leaving, a lovely clerk sang the birthday song to me! These folks are always wonderful to me!

Normally the food is quite stellar. I always order the same thing…the chicken tender basket. Today, the tenders were smaller than normal and quite hard. They remind of tenders that we’re purchased frozen and they taste like they were cooked with fish.

Update!!!! 9/29/2021 Nick’s came through with the supplier and I’m back to getting my tenders. Thanks to Trisha and the staff for making things right. And as such you guys deserve the 5 stars!!!

A can't miss local classic. Crazy good deals on meats. The beer selection is top notch. The best part is the deli counter. Grab a Buttonpopper for under 5 bucks and live your best life.

I do love Nick's of Clinton of Waldorf Maryland it's always clean in that store the employees are always Pleasant very helpful and the steaks are out of the world.

Their deli is awesome, liquor selection on point, beer on tap for tastings and taking home, a great butcher counter for fish and meat. The staff isn’t overly friendly but they are extremely knowledgeable and professional. My husband and I make it a point to visit at least twice a month.

Let me just tell you how impressed we were with Nicks tonight. We have been shopping here for years but I decided to try a different cut of meat for Christmas Dinner and was apprehensive that they would A. have it and B. be able to tell me how to cook it. I called and they said they’d have it the next day and to ask for Crystal because she was the pro. Off we went to get an amazing standing rib roast and I in fact did get to encounter Crystal. This beautiful human that works behind the meat counter serving up steaks with a smile made our experience over the top exceptional. She cut my meat to perfection and even taught me how to cook it and offered some tips and tricks for making it extra special. All of this meat love occurred while my love love was off to get some of the best priced whiskey in the area (P.S. Hibiki was in stock today). Sure prices can be slightly higher at independent grocery stores but if it means keeping people employed and customers happy- we will keep buying. Way to go Nicks and Crystal deserves EVERY award you have for your employees. . The deli artisans and the booze section peeps too! Can’t forget the hard at work money handlers in the front. So happy you are part of our neighborhood and thank you for feeding our community. ❤

I can't come without a stop by Nick's. I love to bring a taste home back to South Carolina (my new home).

Best quality meat and sometimes (most times) better prices than Safeway.
Meats are always fresh! The store is clean, well stocked, and orderly with people working on the floor to help you. It is nice to see the same friendly people like Danny who has worked there for years. That attests to good management to retain good people.

Love it! Prices are amazing. Craft beer selection is great! Growler fills and liquor section is great! The butcher counter is top notch and the deli is worth the wait! ❤

My wife and I moved into the Waldorf area almost a year ago now, and our neighborhood is literally a couple blocks away from Nick's.

This has been our go-to spot for lunches ever since moving here. I typically get a steak & cheese sandwich or one of the cold cut subs they offer, and they are absolutely delicious.

The ingredients they use and sell (meats, breads, cheeses, etc.) are without a doubt high-quality and fresh. Also, everything is very fairly priced!
It's apparent that whoever runs this place and works here are dedicated to serving quality products consistently as I have never had an issue.

Hope Nick's sticks around for a long time, as we plan to be regular customers for the foreseeable future. Keep up the great work!
