Szechuan Garden Restaurant

We travel the Country for a living & this is by far one of the best chinese restaurants. The authentic cocktails, Chinese Dumplings & Food were all excellent & on point! Get the Lobster if you love Lobster, you cannot go wrong! This place is also super clean & the service is beyond accommodating. Highly Recommended!!!

I ended up with General Tsao chicken extra spicy, and it had a great kick!

Haven’t visited for a long time. Today , the food was great. Asked for crispy tofu and very spicy. Spot on. Mai tai x 2 was spot on. Our waiter was very attentive. Restaurant has a relaxed setting. Food was plentiful and good. Egg rolls were super crispy. Will be back.

We found Szechuan Garden on referral from a local friend. We were traveling and looking for a good lunch spot. We arrived at 2:30 and their lunch menu was still available. We were greeted with a friendly atmosphere. And greeted by a handful of staff members. Needing to wash up, I found their restroom clean, roomy and nicely decorated. The restaurant as a whole had a nostalgic decor with a purple drape forming a low ceiling. The art work was in Asian style with a lot of living plants placed on shelves around the large room. The tables were set with placemats. We found the meal delicious as well as starter sushi. I liked that the chop sticks were in a sealed wrap vs a paper sleeve. It appeared an alcohol drink could have been ordered from there fully stocked bar but we were driving so enjoyed endless ice teas. I did like their music selection. A pleasant blend of easy listening to nostalgic 60’s and 70’s soft mix. Of course our meal ended with a fresh fortune cookie. The price was a tad higher for lunch but worth it to have a nice setting. Being a block off 301, I’m glad we found it. Plus ample parking made it easy.

Been going here since they were next to the dollar theater. They are my favorite Chinese restaurant in the entirety of everywhere. Good vibes and easy to enjoy being here!

My friend and I visited this place for dinner and he loved it. The atmosphere was nice, calm & we enjoyed the food. It was not too far from his place so that was an extra plus. The only thing we weren't to happy with was the Saki. It didn't seem to be as strong as at another place we visited but it's now closed. Still, we both enjoyed a wonderful dinner of Chinese food there, together.

Excellent service, great drinks and the food was very tasty. Love the vibe and restaurant decor -- clean and stylish. Had just missed the 3pm lunch specials, and yet it was all good. Shrimp Egg Foo young was sooo good and that sauce ummm tasty -- not too thick. Appreciate the service and chefs. Look forward to my next visit and meal. 🤗

The food here is always so fresh! Service is amazing! Everything I've gotten from here is wonderful! Has a bar available as well with awesome yummy drinks. If you want quality Chinese food (easily repeatable as well since such large portions are given), then you have to come to Szechuan Garden.

The food is ALWAYS delicious. Substantial portions. Excellent customer service. The waitstaff is attentive and responsive. The price point is in line with the quality and quantity of the food, service, and atmosphere. I almost forgot, top notch vegetarian offerings.

My husband and I love this restaurant! Very clean, employee's are very friendly and courteous. The food is delicious. Especially the Kung Pao Chicken. It is not overloaded with vegetables. My husband loved the orange chicken. Try this place. It is worth the money!!

Very good food and fast from the kitchen too. We had the General Tso and the Pork with Snow peas. Very tasty.

I have been looking for an Asian dine-in restaurant for a long time as many are carry out only. A friend of mine told me about this place and we decided to dine in today. It is a large dine in restaurant with a bar area and plenty of parking. The decor and atmosphere is so nice all of the little Ming vases and other Decor feels so authentic. We were seated and the waiter was gracious and attentive. They had an extensive menu which included full dinner or lunch specials. The food was very good and I decided that I will be back to try other items on the menu. the restaurant was clean and smells so good which was great because sometimes you can leave a restaurant and they have the nastiest restroom. this was quite opposite. I had to ask how long was the place has been there because it seem like it was new. I was told it’s been there for sometime so they keep it in excellent condition. If you haven’t been there please stop there you will enjoy it

hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area, excellent take out and a wonderful place to go and have dinner. Easily the best restaurant in the area. Consistently great food and the Singapore noodles are lovely!!!

Seriously the only good Chinese I've found so far. I live all the way in California md now (an hour away from the resturaunt) and we still dive down quite often just to eat their food. Soooooo good

Pricey but Authentic cuisine. Great atmosphere. Nice drinks. Great for birthdays. The Server Kathrine is the best.

This is a local favorite. Everyone in the tri-county area knows this restaurant. Pre-COVID, this place would be packed on a daily basis. The food is good for asian based cuisine tailored for round eyes. The service is awesome and the restaurant is clean and well kept. Dine in, carry out, or have a drink at the bar. Its a good spot to take the family or just for 2. Stay away from the Mall!

This is absolutely the BEST Chinese food around. On top of having incredibly fresh and tasty food, their service is always amazing. Desmond is the best bartender one could ask for! Just writing this review makes me hungry for more of their very wide selection of dishes! Highly recommend. Also note for ANY restaurant experience: if you are kind and courteous to your server, they will be kind and courteous to you.

We are new to the area and we were looking for a great Chinese restaurant to try. Unfortunately the dining room is still closed from Covid, but we put in an order for take-out. There was a mix-up with the orders and I had to go back to the restaurant to pick it up, but 100% worth it. This is the best homestyle tofu I’ve ever had. The tofu was cooked to perfection, not overdone at all, and the veggies were fresh and delicious. My husband had the mushi pork and also enjoyed it. We will definitely make this our regular Chinese stop.
