Very nice free zoo. A few exhibits were closed but overall it was a great experience. Easy to get to and parking was available on a Saturday afternoon. Would recommend for younger children as it's not long distances to walk and most of the animals are fairly close up so easy to spot them.

This is an awesome FREE ADMISSION ZOO with what I thought I had really good parking. Had lots of fun here with some family, and I really enjoyed my time there! There was a bunch of enclosures, and each one had a sign to teach you about the animal that was there. It was also very handicapped friendly as there were plenty of paths and ramps in places there were stairs, although it was a bit bumpy in some places. I'd make quite a consideration to stop here, seeing as it's free and has a bunch to learn. Staff were friendly and did what was required to keep you and the animals safe. There was also a nice little gift shop with some pretty nice things that I'd recommend stopping at if you like buying something to remember your journey.

We were delighted to explore this zoo on a trip through Maryland. The park is well maintained, sustainably landscaped and free to visit. Donations are accepted at the entrance. The animals were actively exploring their environments, even on a sunny summer day. We appreciated the interpretive signage around the park to learn more about the animals. The alpacas, emus and bears were our favorites. There is free parking at the zoo and full restrooms. They are constructing some new habitats. We look forward to visiting again.

Free to park and enter. It was a hot day but there were tons of shady areas while walking around. Good variety of animals. Employees were friendly. Gift shop had good selection of keepsakes at reasonable prices.

This is my second trip at the zoo. It’s a nice detour while going / coming back from the coast. Kids loved spending the time getting e cream looking at the animals and the birds. We always donate something when we get there and spend about 1-2 hours ( you can easily do more ) with all the kids.

We had a great time here on vacation in ocean city. It is free and takes donations. It will keep you busy for about 45 minutes to a hour. Our son who is 12 loved it. It was well worth a trip here.

Very clean and well kept zoo. Nice place to take the family to see the animals. This is a very small zoo so it won't take all day to see. It would be nice if there were a playground and picnic area out front for families. I did notice a disc golf course right out front that looked new.

I'm from out of town and I was just passing through looking for a trail to walk they had a nice Trail that had good scenery I took some great pictures in the trail also lead right into the zoo park that was free and the zoo was really nice. They had various animals and the animals were out and about. They do have a gift shop, restrooms, places for you to sit in the shade. Definitely good for kids to have fun learn about animals and there's even a playground at the entrance for the kids to play to get tired. There's also a big Park across from the zoo where you can have cookouts you can have a blanket layout just enjoy the breeze, the peace, family and friends and just the joy of nature.

Very clean, smaller zoo. Very nice day trip. Free parking and admission. There is a nice variety of animals to see here and the staff are very friendly when teaching you about the animals or letting you watch them feed the animals.

What a hidden gem! A beautiful setting. Such a variety of animals for a small zoo. Loved it and would highly recommend a visit for anyone close by or driving through the area.

This zoo has been around practically as long as I have (F46) and all if the exhibits are good. The Bald eagle exhibit is one of my favorites and I'm happy that they didn't have to use the cake pastry bag for good.

The finally gave their bears so much needed extra room and now would be great for a new panther. Some of the exhibits that the kids seem to enjoy. New favorites are the otters and the prairie dogs.

If you're in the Salisbury Maryland area. Stop into this zoo! It's always free!

For a free zoo there is an incredible variety of animals to visit. The picnic areas are spacious, and the trails are amazing to walk on. They ask for donations, so please give generously if you can.

This is a great zoo with no admission fee( they take donations). We visited the zoo on our way back to VA from Ocean City. Worth the stop and the kids loved it!

A very nice and family friendly zoo that we visit when we make trips to Ocean City. No entrance or parking fees but please donate to help keep this zoo open. A decent size with various animals. You can easily spend an hour here with weekdays seeming to not be too busy.

There is a gift shop as well located towards the center on the East Gate Entrance side, not sure the hours of the shop but it closed right after we left and it was like 2pm.

Super fun! It's a quick adventure to see all the animals, but considering it's free, it's a wonderful free thing to do. My 3 year old and my 8 year old loved it so it's great for all ages.

Best to take a few minutes and learn the layout of this zoo prior to entering. Families are encouraged to visit this zoo. Her layout flows with each view of what earth offers from our planet. Understanding what surrounds us better preserves our planet. From childhood, we parents need to instill the fundamental understanding that planet Earth is Prescious:"something of great value or that's greatly loved."
Understanding that life is shared and respected with other life starts with visiting your local zoo.
Help preserve what we still have and offer a donation - to help preserve the future..
Free parking.
Great place to visit with your grandson.

Fun free adorable zoo. Many fun animals, birds and more! Great place for adults and children. Handicapped accessible in many areas, but not all. Parking is very limited and tightly spaced, so keep that in mind as you may need to park a bit away. Huge park next to the zoo too. Friendly zoo workers. I recommend this place and can't wait to go back.
