La Tolteca Mexican Restaurant

This Mexican restaurant does not make a good hot dog and French fries. Says my 3 year old. But with that aside. The #136 was very tasty. Quesadilla with beans. And my wife’s chimichanga looked very similar. She likes it. I think. I didn’t ask. Bad husband. I was tired from biking a lot this day. Oh..the table chips came with salsa, plus a very odd cold white-sauce. It wasn’t the queso I was expecting.

My friends and I came here around 11am on a Tuesday and we were pleasantly surprised with the service we experienced. Our waiter was very polite and humorous. I ordered the three enchiladas lunch special and was literally stuffed by the end of it.

The restaurant also boasts beautiful artwork among the walls really tying into the ambience. The prices are very reasonable as well defiantly a great place to go to lunch at.

This is my go to for authentic Mexican food. I have never had a bad meal here.

My husband and I ate here for the first time in over 10 years. We ordered guacamole, Yolanda special, the Grande special, and a side of tamales. The food and service were spectacular. We will not wait 10 years to return!

I had the steak fajitas, and they were just wonderful!!! They were hot and cooked just right, done but not over done. The flavor was really good. I think k this is the best Mexican style restaurant around the lower Shore!! The service was prompt and friendly. Of course the atmosphere is great! Their chips are my favorite as well as the salsa and white sauce!! I didn't know until today they sell their white sauce for carryout in several sizes!!

My girlfriend and I have made La Tolteca our go to spot in Salisbury. I could rave about this place for hours but let me just go over some quick highlights. The chips are always fresh, the salsa is always delicious, and the white sauce is a delicious dip as well. The wait staff is always fantastic we have had numerous waiters and waitresses here and every single one of them is very attentive, very fast and more than happy to help make sure you have a great visit. The food is such a good price and such a good quality, whether you're going for lunch or dinner, getting a special or not, getting drinks or not, it always is a good deal. Their frozen strawberry margaritas are amazing and are something we get very regularly and are always consistently great quality. We are particular fans of their quesadillas, and their enchiladas but everything else we've sampled on the menu has also been really good. Their lunch specials are excellent deals whether you get the lunch special price during the specific times or just as a dinner. The turnaround time is very quick so if you need to do a quick meal, it is never taken more than 10 minutes from ordering food to get it. Do not forget dessert here, their churros are literally to die for and are served with a fantastic cream to dip into! We love La Tolteca and are always ready to come back again and again!

Expensive, but well worth it. You get your money's worth. I like the Hawaiian Fajitas. They serve it in a half of a pineapple.

I've been coming here for years and the service has never failed me. The food is great too, and at such a reasonable price! The beer always comes in a frosty mug, and you can tell it's fresh. The food is always hot, and the chips are endless upon request. The people are kind and considerate: I often come with my wife and we share a combo dish - I've never had to ask, and the staff always comes with 2 plates, understanding the situation. The restaurant is always clean to the "T". I am a happy repeat customer.

Awesome fajitas, got the fajitas dinner for two. Fajitas were tender, juicy, and flavorful. Waiter was on top of things. We had a great time.
