I cannot say enough good things about Bill and his team at Rainbow Moving & Storage!! I work for a local non-profit, and Rainbow Moving & Storage went above and beyond to help us in our time of need. The entire team was polite, timely, efficient, and hardworking! Bill was such a pleasure to work with! He and his team packed up our entire office building for us at a moments notice and then held the items for several days since our other office space wasn’t ready. They then helped us to unload at our new location, and they did all this the day after Christmas. What an incredible team of people! I would highly recommend Bill and his team to anyone looking for a moving company that will treat your belongings with care and respect.

My move was covered by my employer, so I cannot speak to value; however, Bill and Steve took excellent care of me. I moved 500 miles and they made it a very smooth process and even rushed my household goods so I could be in my new home before the holiday weekend; things were packed thoroughly and moved efficiently, which was even more impressive considering the inclement weather plus 90 degree days! I will definitely be using them again for my next move.

I don’t normally write reviews but felt it necessary to write this one. I booked the company on a Tuesday for a move to happen on that Friday. As promised, 3 men showed up on time. We had 2 stops to make along the way to pick most furniture up from a storage unit I had. The guys were courteous, respectful, but also had a personality and were great to deal with. Everything was handled with care nothing broken or scratched. Would use them agai. Without a doubt if I ever move again but definitely recommend them. Thank you bill and team!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. 4 men delivered my stuff and expected payment and food. One kept me with him while the others took the boxes to the apartment putting them in closets or spaces not seen upon entry. They refused to unpack the items because they said the place is to small. They had no intention of doing so based based on placement. When I asked one to at least open the boxes he jumped up with an attitude just cutting the boxes tape. I told him its ok I have a box cutter or will use a knife. They would disappear for an extended period of time I guess to justify their time. I also found a few items broken and one of my boxes was missing and they insisted it was a mistake. I called the manager Bill and he was just as rude and I have continued to call and he refuse to return any of my calls. I hope the military never contract them again. I have file a formal complaint especially since the manager cant have the decency to apologize or call.

They were my employer choice. Some would say stuff would break during the move and that is expected. With that said, I did not like this company because from the beginning they did not seem concincious and sure enough stuff got broken. The attitude of the unpacking team when I found the damaged furniture parts is what motivated me to write the review. They did not apologize , they blamed it on the packing team and pointed out that my furniture is not robust enough to handle the move. Furthermore, when they put things together, they did not do it well and try to hide the fact that some of screws were missing.

My wife and I have moved a hand-full of time over the past dozen years - this was by far the worst moving company we have dealt with! Another moving company we talked with warned us that Rainbow's stated rates were too low and to watch out against add-on charges. Sure enough, that's exactly what happened. Don't believe the advertisement that it will cost less than doing the move by yourself with a moving truck, because it was our experience that the movers tried to add on expenses.

First, when the moving truck arrived to pick up our stuff for a MD to GA move, the number of boxes listed was different than what was discussed over the phone, so the moving team insisted on marking up the cost for our actual load. They indicated that our stuff would arrive in GA within a few days, but it went to a storage center in MD and took over 3 weeks to arrive. Because 95% of our stuff was going to a ground floor storage unit, with just a bed and a few small boxes going to our 3rd floor apartment, we asked for and were told they could waive the stairs charge for bringing just those few items up to our apartment. The movers scheduled for 4pm delivery on a Sunday, then didn't show up and never tried to update about delayed arrival time unless we called them. I asked for next day delivery when they still had not arrived by 9pm, and they tried to insist on bringing our items that same evening, even though they still could not promise a delivery time! Finally they relented Monday morning deliver so long as they could do a very early (7am). We agreed, but they still showed up over an hour late! The drivers tried to rush everything and not use the checklist to confirm all items were delivered. They spoke little English and acted like they could not understand everything. I tried to confirm with them to get our bed and a few boxes brought upstairs for no charge, and they seemed to agree, yet as soon as they brought those few items upstairs they then whipped out the contract with a pre-set fee and tried to add a $130 service charge for bringing the bed up the stairs!! To top it off, key parts of the bed (side boards + half the frame platform) were missing! We got little help from customer service in trying to locate the missing items - never called us back with updates and we never got the sense that anyone was actually trying to track down our missing bed parts. Will definitely not use Rainbow again!

I recommended this company to my Sister, thinking they would do a great job. I wish I hadn't. Their movers are unprofessional and not adequately trained; for the price, she paid to move, she shouldn't have had to lift a finger after everything was done. I could go on about everything wrong, but it's too long of a list. I will not recommend this company to anyone again!

Horrible, rip offs, they will charge you with extra fees without informing you, the movers will come and request extra money to be paid in cash before uploading anything and they won't deliver your contents the same day, you will have to wait a few days to get them, i strongly don't recommend you this company unless you want to get ripped off!!!

From experience I am writing this review, and then "NATALIE" will not answer about what originally agreed upon, she will take your money under contract and get you in a horrible loop!!!

I've been in the moving Industry for 10 years now I've have seen lots of goods and bad but this pack job that rainbow mover did was the worse by far I'm moving in the military family that was pack by them and dropped off at my warehouse by one of their drivers and we have broken items and boxes that was not pack rite no paper no protection at all and the one thing this family puts on his high value list is was smash and broken not good at all

My mom used them. She is missing boxes that they said that they supposedly unloaded. They stole the boxes. Will be getting a lawyer.
