Chicken N Pickle- St. Charles

Phenomenal smoked wings.

Typically when you go to a bar or an activity center, like this, you have to leave your expectations at home when it comes to wings. Chicken N Pickle actually delivers on all fronts.

The wings have a pleasant smoky undertone - as to be expected. They’re not rubbery and chewy like some other purveyors of the smoked wing. These have the perfect texture. A lot of this has to do with them not using the dreaded, abnormal, “jumbo wing”.

The fries were cold and overall terrible but we don’t have to focus on that.

I tried the jerk and the Buffalo. Both kept me coming back for more. The Buffalo was a Franks and butter type sauce, as per the norm, but the proportions were balanced expertly. The jerk was a dry rub. They didn’t necessarily taste anything like authentic jerk wings but they were tasty and unique nonetheless. 8.4/10 clucks.

The ranch also appeared to be homemade which is always a big bonus.

The atmosphere was a clear winner; the vibes are great and there’s something for everyone to do. Very family friendly. The food was about what you would expect and there is plenty of beverage options that are well priced. We went in the winter and there was nothing happening outside but I’m sure it will be busy when the weather gets warm. There were plenty of people playing pickleball inside, I did notice the court fees are quite steep. Overall I am very pleased with my experience and can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer.

Went on a super busy Sunday and had a great time. We had an outdoor court reserved so played two hours of pickleball, had some $6 margaritas, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Service was great.

A super cool place to visit for lunch & to enjoy the sunshine and yard games! I absolutely will be back! Rooftop bar. A great place to take your kids or friends for some fun!

Stopped by with some friends from work for lunch and it was so nice. I really liked the place and can't wait till it gets a little warmer I feel like it's definitely about to be the new hang out spot. The food was good the sandwich was huge, the only thing I didn't like about my food was that the fries could have used some salt but they were fried well. There were two things I didn't like though. One of which was that we had to open a tap, even though we were only there for lunch which I thought was odd. The other thing I didn't like was that when you enter in and it's literally a dead zone like no cell service at all no matter the carrier. I understand maybe they want you to be in the moment, but I feel like they are good reason why you need to be able to recieve or make calls. Especially at a place that is like a meet up point and a place to drink. Overall though I thought it was great and definitely can't wait to go back and hang out.

Many choices of food and drinks. Tip: reserve the courts in advance. But even without pickle ball, there are plenty games.
Lots of parking, many restrooms. Great for families or team building events.

Enjoyed first visit! Great tasting food that was quickly served. PB courts were full, so we didn’t expect to play…until Mason at the play station alerted me to a rare 30 minute opening! Very thoughtful of him to track us down. Our group all got to enjoy court time! Thank you Mason@CNP-STL.

Chicken N Pickle is pretty fun. Food is good and atmosphere is great. Not a big fan of Pickleball but there are other games outside, Cornhole, battleship, table tennis, or just drinking at the bar.

We had an amazing time today, thanks to our server Dylan. Dylan was very warm, kind, friendly and patient. Dylan took the time to chat with us about the establishment and what it has to offer. I’m so excited to see what spring and summer brings. Thanks again Dylan for making our experience memorable!

Best rotisserie chicken I’ve had. Fun place to hang out! Glad it’s finally here! I was surprised you couldn’t order from the table with a QR code. Expected it to be a little more efficient and high tech but it’s the sort of place you go to when you’re not in a hurry so it’s alright.

Plenty of games, obviously pickle ball, but also corn hole, shuffle board, fooz ball, bocce ball, and more! Lots of space to hang out. Helpful friendly staff. Delicious food. Great selection of beverages. Looking forward to visiting again!

Family-friendly event space. It is great for pickleball but also has outdoor jenga, battleship, bean-bag toss, & connect four. Outside also has lots of seating (adirondack chairs) organized in conversation areas. There are plenty of TVs in the bar area.

Took the family here to check it out for the first time. What an awesome property, 4 acres of entertainment. Lena provided excellent service and gave us the run down on the whole place. It's overwhelming big and she let us know right where to go for all the games, food and drinks and pointed out all the other attractions. The pizza shack was open, chicken tenders were a hit with the kids. I preferred the tots over the fries. The skinny salad had their rotisserie chicken on it and that was delicious. Mike, the manager, even took the time to make sure we were doing good and enjoying the evening. Can't wait to see live music and DJs here this summer on the outdoor stage. Great food, great service, great entertainment, great spot!!

Great place for food and fun! We enjoyed the games and wonderful menu as well. Victoria our server at the bar was Amazing! She was super friendly and gave us Excellent service. We can tell she truly loves being a part of Chicken and Pickle! Would give 10 stars!

Great place to grab a drink with friends, play pickleball, or watch the game. Open atmosphere. Fun leather couches to lounge on inside. Plenty to do outside.

Went with the wife and 18 month old baby. We went on a Tuesday around noon so it was not very busy. The interior is large with lots of sitting space. Had nice quality baby chairs. Food ordering was easy and they brought the food to our table quickly. There is a large outdoor area that was perfect for our baby to run around. If it were busy I don't think the baby would be able to run around outside but it worked today. I've been to the KC location and it was very nice. I think this location was even nicer. Would recommend for families. Plenty of stuff and people for kids to stare at. Good atmosphere. Good food.

Me and girlfriend went for the first time during the weekday. It wasn’t really packed so it was easy to get a table. This place is unique as you can order food at the counter and have it delivered to your seat via a number tracker which servers can find anywhere in the establishment. If you want to, you can also order at any table with the waiter that comes around to you. The food ranges from alright to great. My girl got the chicken sandwich and fries which was phenomenal. The chicken reminded her of a chick-fi-la sandwich while the fries were a larger versions of In-N-Out’s on the West Coast. I got the Mac and cheese which wasn’t too good. The indoor pickleball courts are by first come first serve or reservation. Prices were $40 for an hour. The outdoor pickleball courts are free. In all it was good time with fast service and decent drinks. I wondering what it will be like on the weekend or during warmer seasons.

It’s a well thought out space. Enough space indoors and outdoors for anyone who visits.
There’s something for everyone. You can play or people watch, sit back and sip, and/ or grab a bite. If you’re visiting for the first time, make sure to ask an attendant how it all works.

This place is really nice! The bars are super clean and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the amenities for pickle ball and various other activities are fantastic.
