This store has extensive contemporary and modern furniture in St Louis. The store was easy to find and has a large parking lot. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They have 2 floors of showrooms. The price was reasonable for this type of furniture.

Drove a thousand miles, round trip twice ! Waited seven months for the leather custom order to arrive from Norway and was able to pick up a beautiful office chair.

Have been furnishing my homes and office through House of Denmark for 30+ years. Always quality furniture, not laminated cardboard, always ethical sales procedures.
And the sale area downstairs has genuine Deals!

My wife and I purchased a bedroom set from the store on Olive Boulevard. Store rep Inara walked throughout the store with us and patiently explained and answered all our questions. She was wonderful, professional and has a great personality. The delivery people were fantastic also they were on time, personable and put down mats to keep from scratching our hardwood flooring. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Really positive experience with this vendor would recommend to others. Ask for Inara if you plan to shop there soon.

The showroom and warehouse were a positive experience. I was specifically in the hunt for an Ekornes Leather Stressless chair. The sales person Steven was pleasant, knowledgeable, and no pressure. The showroom is stocked with a full line up of Stressless models, leather options, colors, and samples of materials. I tried out all the models once and several of the models numerous times. I was not hovered over and all my questions were answered promptly. There was a lack of enthusiasm from other associates to my follow up phone call questions and messages for Steven to call me back. However eventual follow up communication with Steven ironed things out.

I opted for a chair model with options that were in stock at their east coast distribution center. So I didn't have to wait for shipment from Norway. It arrived to the Chesterfield warehouse approximately 3 weeks after I ordered it. I chose to pick it up myself and it was easy peasy. Communication from the warehouse was timely and accurate. The chair is unprotected at the dock, so bring your own furniture blankets.

Traci was incredibly helpful in finding seat/backs to fit our existing barstools that we bought from HOD many years ago. She located them, advised us of shipping time, notified us of their arrival, and did not charge our credit card until they arrived in the HOD warehouse. She even later sent a wrench that we needed to remove the old seats and install the new ones. We were very impressed with the customer service.

The furniture is unique and high quality. The service is fantastic! Thanks to Chad at the Olive store that helped us through a problem that was our fault not theirs! He was extremely nice to work with and went out of his way to help us.

Large showroom of modern furnishings..no pressure sales..very helpful..

Quality... Contemporary... Modern furniture is found here.. if you are looking for cheap mass made furniture then this is not the place to be.. Styles are very European.. Clean lines.. quality materials.. Furniture made to last.. The sales people here are knowledgeable.. understand your needs... and know their stock.. you have to remember this is European design for the more compact areas.. the the unnecessary useless bulky stuff is not there.. every line is practical and has function.. you cannot compare it to the overpriced mass market furniture stores.. That then have massive discounts on various holidays.. here your prices are high and consistent... Furniture from here is worth it..

Really interesting furniture and accessories. Modern, well built. Looking for something unique and interesting? Give House Of Denmark a visit. Very satisfied with our chair and wall decoration. Unique and elegant.

If I could afford it, I'd buy all our stuff here. Compared to other furniture stores in STL, their stuff is modern and practical. So tired of all the colonial, early-American, traditional or country stuff at all the other stores.
